Guest Reviews
- GRAEME (8/5): -
- Donna (9/5): - Great location and comfortable Difficult access and parking place allocated was unusable.
- Stacey (10/5): -
- Suzie (10/5): - It was away from the traffic.
Wasn't too far to go to my appointment on the Friday.
- Michael (6/5): Meh.. its OK. Its a bed. - The location is decent enough, next to a big pub. Its pet friendly. The rate is reasonable enough, considering the prices in Sydney and surrounds these days. The shower was good. The vibe at reception upon arrival seemed a little burnt out and not so welcoming. First impressions....
The cleaner neglected to clean up the schnitty crumbs left over from a previous guest.
The WiFi signal is sketchy.
The flouro light flickered.
The bunks require warmer blankets.
- Elizabeth (7/5): - The location was perfect for what we needed. The staff were perfect and welcoming.. The bathroom was extremely tiny. There were dogs that were fighting and barking for quite a while..

- James (6/5): - Nice easy check in process Cabins need a fresh coat if paint, but apart from that very clean
- Priscilla (7/5): Good location. - I liked the location it was close to restaurants, shopping centres, and fairly close to Valentine 's Sports Ground. The staff were flexible and nice, good communication. It was clean, and the area felt safe. The heater wasn't working but once reported it got fixed. The mattresses were too soft, they were not very comfortable to sleep in. The ceiling height on the second floor room and first floor room had height restrictions (too low). It was uncomfortable to move around. I had to be careful and be aware at all times not to bump my head. It is not recommended for tall people.
- Justine (8/5): -
- Diana (6/5): Prima voor 1 á 2 nachten - Vriendelijkheid personeel Niet schoon , oud en veel kapot
- David (7/5): - The bed was clean and comfotable. The cabin was old and a little gruby. Needs painting on inside. Shower was over bath which being an older person I found difficult to use.
- Blackwood (8/5): - I liked the bottles of soap, lotion, shampoo and conditioner. I liked that it was pet friendly and there were little fenced enclosures for pets
- Sune (8/5): -

Hole in the bedroom wall needs repairing.

- Phil (10/5): I’ll be back - Stay here all the time It’s becoming to popular
- Donna (4/5): Not necessarily enjoyable stay - The location to get to my daughters tournament was good. Everything close by was good. The cabin itself had not been well maintained and for the price we paid it was extremely disappointing. With no other nearby accommodation we had to stay.
- Shylenne (9/5): -
- Amanda (10/5): -
- Res5 (4/5): Was not impressed - Location was good and breakfast was poor Cleaning was not done properly no one cleaned we had 6 nights staying high dusting is poor bed had so much dust and under sheets we dirty, fan had so much dust, no dish washing facilities,no sugar, dust the whole house it’s full of small insects, bathroom floors and room floor was dirty not proper cleaning, stove was rusty, too old house need good paint and floors. Refresh the whole house
- Annu (7/5): It was good - K Rooms had dust especially in hidden areas.
- Scott (9/5): -
- Nasir (10/5): -
- Penford (2/5): - that it was small and good space found hair all in the bed and the spare doona smelt like a dog slept in it.
Cutlery and including the jug wasn't cleaned.
Noise from the other cabins behind me went on from 7 - 12 at night and the same the next night.
- Martin (8/5): - NA Cabin getting a bit old. Need paint
- Beatrice (9/5): Great for the price. Would stay again - It was good for the price.
Air con was warm.
Easily access from the road.
No complaints. It was a little run down and bunk beds pretty uncomfortable very firm. Maybe ok for kiddies but an adult it was a little struggle. Pub is a noisy if you are sensitive to sound when sleeping maybe request one over the other side if so. Ours was so so with noise but was the weekend.
- Chris (8/5): -
- Beth (10/5): -
- Brad (7/5): - Convenient location. Superior cabin is a reasonable size for a family for a few days. Bathroom maintenance could be better. Grout missing from floor tiles in shower. Hot water was not consistent and difficult to use. Was either too hot or too cold.
- Amanda (10/5): Perfect getaway - Comfortable beds and accommodation has so many things for the family. Would recommend to all. Nothing. It was great
- Jolene (9/5): -
- Quan (8/5): -
- Bethany (8/5): -
- Christina (6/5): Cleanliness to be worked on - The games room and the swimming pool was great! The cabin we stayed in was quite disappointing. We didn't expect a lot as we booked the only remaining cabin left but we had expectations that the cabin would at least be clean. Unfortunately there were cockroach eggs right in the corner behind the small kitchen table and the area hadn't been wiped or cleaned for some time. It was the first thing we noticed when we walked into the cabin. The mattress protectors were also old and ants were crawling on the kitchen benches. The bathroom and inside the cupboards for hanging clothes fortunately were clean.
- Song (9/5): -
- Santiago (5/5): -
- Tipper (3/5): Passable at best and no I would not stay again - The bed was comfortable and seemed new
I refused to even put my bag on the lounge as it was stained and smelled horrible
The room when I entered also smelled extremely musty and like old alcohol, this lends me to think they had a long-term tenant in this cabin that sat on the same spot on the lounge - hence the sweet marks Hmmmmmm
The hot chocolate I made in the morning
The bed was ok as well
- Porter (8/5): -
- ErinQ85 (2/5): Don’t bother. False advertising. - We recently stayed in a Rosella cabin with separate ensuite for 3 nights whilst visiting family pre Christmas. We’d planned to have a relaxing weekend spent mostly at the caravan park, letting the kids swim and play at the park and in the games room, whilst us adults had a moment of peace in this busy season. We were on a budget and knew we weren’t booking a premier park but somehow we were still left disgusted and disappointed. In case anyone is considering staying here, I’ve included some details to help you decide if this place is right for you.
Cabin:
The cabin itself is newish, and it’s quite decent. The bedding and cabin were clean with basic tea and coffee provisions. I would happily stay in it again, for a single night as a stopping point on a longer journey.
Ensuite:
The bathroom is many, many decades old. There are cracked tiles, rusty towel rails, with a floor so old that you’d have no idea if it were clean or dirty, and no bench space to sit clothes. It just feels ‘ick’. It would be ick if it were the camp bathrooms and it’s even more nasty that it’s actually attached to a cabin. It now makes sense as to why there were no photos of it online. Even if the rest of the park were great, I wouldn’t stay here again simply because of the ensuite facilities.
Pool:
The pool was green. There was a guy cleaning it on the first morning after we arrived but you’d be safer swimming in a stagnant swamp. The pool remained green the 3 days we were there.
Park:
There is a park but it is quite small and the equipment is really suited more for young children (not my primary aged kids for reference). But young children can’t play in there because there is rubbish and random old chairs throughout it. When your kids say “that’s filthy”, you know it’s bad.
Games room:
My kids were super excited for this. Sadly of the 4 electronic ‘games’ in here (2 arcade games, air hockey and basketball), only 1 worked intermittently. I will say that the Giant Connect 4 and the TV worked fine.
Tennis court:
The only facility in great condition. I didn’t look into whether we could hire racquets from reception.
Camp bathrooms:
These are actually decent. I would use them over my cabin ensuite without a doubt. They’ve been renovated and were clean and tidy.
General:
This park is heavy on permanent or long term residents which would be fine but so many of their homes are filthy with old rubbish, couches etc dumped out the front for you to walk past. Rubbish bins overflow. Picnic tables are filthy.
Overall impression:
This park gives the impression that it is owned independently in the middle of nowhere, and going broke, not that it is actually an Ingenia park, associated with Big 4. They should be ashamed to have this in their property portfolio and the managers should be ashamed of themselves for taking families’ hard earned money but not delivering the advertised product. There is clearly no pride in this park, no love, and the bare minimum money and effort put into it. We are beyond disappointed with our 3 night stay and ended up spending hundreds more dollars than planned, just to entertain our kids because Ingenia can’t or won’t maintain their facilities. I will not return and nor will my family.
- ANNE CAREY (10/5): - Place has a great and vibe. The self contained cabin had everything I needed. I stay regularly for work at the mo. Nil
- Adam (4/5): -
- Ashley (7/5): -
- Megan (3/5): Not a nice experience - Convenient location So much noise till after midnight it was impossible to sleep. We were in a cabin across from caravans and the people may as well have been in the cabin with us.
We lost money as we left a night early because we hadn't slept for two nights.
- Deborah (8/5): To find a place we can stay with our two dogs in Sydney which is clean & affordable is a bonus ! - Perfect location for our trip to Sydney for meetings and family Sydney traffic and trying to access the property when we couldn’t park but it was school pick up and there were extra cars.
- Ann (6/5): Good - would stay again if unable to get anywhere else - Interesting accommodation. I thought I'd have an area for dogs to be off leash. Reception was shut, no code to safe was sent but managed to speak to staff member who was abrupt but in end was helpful. Had two cars parked in my entry to my parking which meant I had to go through someone else's site to get in and out. Tried to find owners of cars but unable to and nobody on site to advise
- Amy (10/5): -
- andrew (8/5): -
- Phil (10/5): I stay here all the time when I’m in Sydney - Always comfortable and very homely Nothing
- Pravin (2/5): Look for other accommodation - Location for a family gathering was good. The cottage was no where near what was advertised.
- Angela (7/5): -
- Ranjila (6/5): -
- Noel (9/5): -
- Seon Jae (7/5): - The staff was kind and place is comfotable to go the mall and shop Many Spider webs inside windows
- Phil (10/5): Love this park - Right next to my sons place The price keeps going up
- Meredith (8/5): Cute, cosy and cosy effective - Simple set up, but had all we needed. Comfy beds, pillows a plenty! Great we could have our little pup stay too. TV had apps for streaming services but we couldn't get any working.
Just remember the bathroom is outside 😂
- Rachel (7/5): Good! - Good for the price
Parking outside the front of the cabin
Simple and small unit, as expected. but exactly what was needed for our visit (going to a wedding nearby!)
Clean
Staff came to fix a problem we had with the shower unit straight away. NA

- JUNXUE (9/5): -
- Robert (7/5): OK for one night - Location Old
- Reannan (10/5): -
- Daniel (9/5): -
- amb_au (9/5): Friendly staff, well equipped clean cabin. Highly recommend. - Friendly helpful staff, well equipped clean cabin, convenient location close to eateries and sporting fields.
- Rowena (4/5): OK for 1 night - Convenient location Mattress too soft and sank in the middle. TV did not work
- Daphne (9/5): Beautiful stay, would book again. Cheers! :) - It was exactly like the photos shown online. Clean grounds and rooms. On arrival Lily at reception was so lovely and friendly. The pull out couch and cushions were stained and didn’t look hygienic to sleep on. That’s the only negative.
- Ieva (10/5): Just whatvwe needed - Great location, with no other accommodation in the area. Compact tidy cabin, had everything we needed
- Glen (8/5): - No problems
- Lauren Emily (8/5): - Place was nice. Can u ask the city to put in a crossing to the bus stop?
- Caroline (7/5): -
- Ari (4/5): Horrible - I was very glad this was a quick overnight stay on our road trip. The pool was freezing so the kids couldn't enjoy that at all. The cabin was gross. After a long day of travel we arrived in the evening to find that I had to make 2 sets of bunk beds with the linen, but the main bed was made. It was difficult, and under the mattresses was filthy. An old pair of socks, dead cockroaches, torn up paper. Clearly not cleaned properly. There was dust/dirt/hair on the mattress protecters so I imagine they were not washed in between stays? There were only 4 chairs in a cabin that sleeps 6, and you had to push the table into a corner to get around it. So uncomfortable to stay there. The hot chocolate sachets provided for the kids were welcomed, and it was nice that the shower soaps were in a dispenser on the wall. Probably the only things I can say something positive about. While we were eating dinner, a man knocked on our door and asked if the police had been to see us because some "kids had been abused in the park today". I didn't ask what that meant exactly, I just said thanks for letting us know. But my kids were then scared all night to sleep in the bunk room together. A pretty horrible stay here and the only time I saw a staff member was when I handed back the keys. She didn't ask how our stay was - probably for the best. A didn't like this place. Was so glad to leave.
- Wayne (9/5): Excellent - Easy to locate, friendly staff, Pub next door Nothing
- Jennifer (7/5): Pleasant, but kids playground would of been handy for kids. - Lovely, small park. Good location for what we needed. Birds are beautiful and friendly. Playground blocked off so couldnt use it which was disappointing.
Also love seeing the birds, but dont like seeing the long term people living there feeding them bread. Please recommend fruit or sell small bags of sunflower seeds at office for kids to be able to feed the birds healthier. Too much bread can kill them.
- JUNXUE (10/5): -
- Sharon (7/5): ok but for the price a hotel is better value for money - LOcation The first stay I had no idea there was a loft bed or an outside toilet - very disappointed
The last stay was ok but small rooms, no side tables
- Grant (10/5): - Was upgraded by friendly staff. Suited our brief visit to Sydney. Thanks to all G.N.
- Catherine (3/5): So-so - The office staff were responsive and super helpful The cabin reflected an inattention to routinely testing and accompanying maintenance. The instantaneous hot water failed and a plumber promptly called, but to have a shower necessitated going to a neighbouring cabin to shower. We were offered a move, but decided to stay as the hot water was repaired and the weather inclement.
A few nights later, an almighty bang in the evening and our cabin was plunged into darkness. The after hours number was promptly answered by a super helpful staff member who worked to find us another cabin, so in the rain we took our toilet bags and a change of clothes and, in pyjamas, moved. Our sleep was disrupted by the adjoining cabin who had a dog in its cage on the back of their ute. It scratched and whimpered on and off all night.
We had stayed to be near family and spend time with overseas and interstate family and attend my father’s funeral. While the site is convenient to local family, and advertised facilities that should have been suitable for my grandchildren,I cannot see myself booking there again.
- Catherine (5/5): Ok - The staff were unfailingly helpful and responsive The Magie cabin appeared to have been refurbished. The bathroom was was wet, slippery nightmare as the floor was not designed to drain water into the shower. The shower curtain was too short and allowed free flow of water into the whole bathroom
