We were unable to advise an arrival time and even though the host was not there when we did arrive, a phone call and clear instructions saw us into our room in a timely fashion. Bedroom we stayed in was somewhat tired. Downstairs restoration had been done. Perhaps upstairs rooms are next on the list. I didn't think to ask out of curiosity.

- Man kann ganz in der Nähe schön am Derwent River spazieren gehen.

Our host Penny was just a gem, most helpful and very amiable. The almost 200 year old accommodation was so full of charm and character and Penny has done an amazing job of renovating and decorating. The facilities were modern and attractive. Breakfast was included, unexpected and delicious with fresh preserves and amazing scrambled eggs with fetta on toast. Penny you are a Hostess with the Mostess. Thank you so much. That Penny (our host) was not my Aunty.
