We were there on a monday night and had no dining options for cafes or restaurants. We ended up getting dinner at IGA which is ok, might just be our bad luck that places were closed on that day.

Didn't like the pillows on our bed and would have liked to have been able to see whether our cabin was a beachfront or not as this wasn't described in the booking.

On the beach, not to far to go for coffee, etc. You had to drive to restaurants, as it was too cold when we were there to walk. Just the beds on the bunks were very thin and we had to put the top bunk mattress on the bottom bunk to make it comfortable.

• Renee (8/5): Amazing waking up to the sound of the waves - Loved having the beach so close to our door step! And cafe so close too. Great roads for the kids to ride scooters and bikes. Also heard and saw all the big ships coming in and the kids loved seeing that from our balcony Everything was mouldy! Window sills, bathroom etc I know it’s on the beach but for rooms that would get cleaned so often I don’t get how it could get that bad and i question what it’s like for someone with respiratory issues staying somewhere like that. They could also put some extra pillows in the cupboard. And salt and pepper! A couple other nrma parks provide those little sachets, I always forget those basics. Car parks are small especially if you have a SUV.
• Jessica (6/5): Kids are not welcome to have fun here after 8:30 - We had a beautiful view of the beach and the property was clean There is a noise restriction policy however as a family/friends group that planned a trip away for our sons end of season footy trip (kids are 7.) The kids were having a great time playing not interfering with any other families at the park, we kept together reasonably close to us as the night got dark. Once 8:30 hit we were told to stop the kids from playing then by 9 we were told to move on. We were by the bbqs near our cabin and the kids were only having fun but we feel like we were unfairly criticised for having kids enjoying themselves together at a family park. Do not state a noise restriction policy and not adhere to it and ruin kids fun time together, which their parents forked out a lot of money for and to make them feel like they did something wrong by enjoying themselves.

Normally this wouldn’t bother me too much but my phone reception wasn’t great while there so really would have liked for the wifi to be working.

• Denise (10/5): A fabulous park within a lovely town - Stockton is a great place to stay. We loved the spacious cabin with everything you needed for a comfortable stay. The bathroom is a good size with a great shower with good pressure. The site is on the waterfront and an easy walk into town, to the Bowling Club and to the Ferry wharf. We caught the five minute ferry over to Newcastle for a walk and lunch. The light rail was right there for accessing different areas. The staff are friendly and accommodating and the cabin is kept clean and comfortable. We will definitely stay again and will attempt next time to get one of the beach facing cabins. nothing… it was great

• Jp (3/5): Very poor experience. The great location of the property was diluted by very poor customer service. - Overall cleanliness on the property. The internet service was down days before our arrival, but we were not informed that Internet service will not be available. The telephony connection in the area is very poor and hence we had a challenge managing our kids. Also I had to attend a seminar which I had to miss. The customer service need to be improved. The receptionist was not at all helpful and was indicating I should have come prepared with a data dongle.
