- Verified traveler (8/5): Comfortable Rooms well laid out, bad wifi - Great little motel with lovely clean rooms. The only draw back was the loud fridge noise in the night and the wifi which was terrible. Otherwise despite the proximity of the pub, the room was very quiet.

- FRANCES (10/5): Great motels . - Great advantage of these motels is the adjacent restaurant bar and restaurant .We really enjoyed our bar meal after a long drive from Invercargill . A very popular motel that you need to precook to get a unit .

Ideal for the business traveller like myself who occassionly wants to eat in. Also, just a few steps from a good bottle shop for a nice ale or two to take back to the room after work. Will stay here again on my next trip.

- Christine (10/5): Biggest Studio Ever. - Huge studio appartment. Comfortable kingsize bed. Well equipped kitchenette. Comfortable 3 seater couch and coffee table. 2 minutes walk to a bar and restaurant and an off licence. While it's on highway 1 it is far enough back from it so that there is no noise.

Check in was confusing, ended up having to speak to bar staff at an adjacent property who gave me keys but couldn't confirm any details about payment etc. Room was tidy, and had the usual equipment. Plenty of parking when I stayed but it was not busy.

- Grahame (8/5): Large Space at a great price. - Lovely, large space to stay in with everything you need. Great value for money which is a plus while travelling around New Zealand. We travelled around New Zealand’s South Island for 2 weeks and found it quite expensive in many of the tourist locations but this was good value for money.

The motel was booked out with a large group who thought it was okay to come back at 1 in the morning, drunk, yelling at each other, threatening fights. We could hear people trying to get into our room. We then had to put up with a women in high heels walking up and down for the next hour banging on the door next to us to try and get in. No management on site to control anyone. Will never stay there again
