We loved the trampoline outside! Great view, near the Farmer’s Market. The pool and spa was dirty so we didn’t had the chance to use them.

David (4/5): Below average poor customer service - It’s ok The fact we arrived and no receptionist or keys for us to get into our room after waiting 2 hrs no email nothing to advise how to get in the room. And had an after hours number to ring then ring back two hours later and made out tgere no problem after explaining. No refund option or apologies or discount. And to top it off half a roll of toilet paper

Gemma (3/5): 10/10 would NOT stay again - The location was good, close to bus stops and the supermarket and takeaways. The fridge was clean. The room was dirty and rundown. Stains galore over the carpet, a window in the kitchen with a broken latch that wouldn't close (got eaten alive by mozzies), cobwebs on the windows in the lounge, grime on the kitchen windowsill, it just felt very icky and unsafe.
Verity (8/5): Nice room just needs some TLC - It was in a lovely spot, close to the supermarket and local bus service which was very helpful. The bed was very comfortable and the telly didn't lack channels. The pool was nice tho the spa is in need of a clean out and refill. The lack of coffee... 2 sachets for a full weekend and a hot chocolate in the plunger.... A few things just need a touch up or a tighten the barn style door to the bathroom felt loose and the curtain on the main door didn't fit.

Tom (7/5): Perfect for a weekend get away. - Easy to find, reasonable rate's, easy instructions to follow to check in. Comfy bed with clean linen. well appointed kitchenette. En-suite door needed repairing as it didn't open properly, TV need's upgrading as it kept cutting out and had no controller. No air conditioning.

R5203ZTjodieb (4/5): expensive for how dirty it was - Not a good experience here, it was dirty, the blinds were dusty, a large spiderweb with resident spider was found just inches above my pillow, the carpet was stained and felt damp and dirty, the shower was broken and off it's tracks and couldnt be shut so had to shower with door open, windows were filthy with big spiderwebs and the 'view' which was shown as looking out to the beach was in fact just straight into bushes and trees, the pool and spa that sounded so inviting was actually a disgusting unhealthy green with leaves and dirt on the top.

There was a big spiderweb with resident spider right above the bed I slept in, the bed under the window, so only inches from my face! the blinds were dusty, the shower was broken and door was off tracks and couldn't be shut so had to shower with it open. the 'view' to the sea that was advertised on website was in fact just straight out into scrappy bushes, and the 'pool and spa' was a disgusting green with leaves and dirt on the surface. absolutely NOT what it appeared on the website. The carpet was stained and felt dirty and damp underfoot. The room had a damp musty smell, and only 1 chair for 2 people. very disappointing, and expensive for what we got, will not be coming back. There was no one in reception to check in or out and we were within business hours both times, just a key in a box - which was fine but I expected to see someone at least the next morning. Interesting that the photos on the website are all of seemingly nicer rooms, there is no pics like the room we stayed in and definitely not the same pool - FALSE ADVERTISING!

Toni (5/5): Spacious, good location but quite run down, needs some TLC - The motel was quite run down and not what we expected. Our accomodation was really spacious but old and not as clean as it could have been. No air conditioning and it was very hot, the fans provided were old, rusting and one wouldn’t stand up. The curtains were dirty, old and let a lot of light in. It also smelt weird when we first arrived so some diffusers would be ideal. The spa pool water was bright green. It has the potential to be amazing accomodation, especially as it is in a good location and is a good size. With a bit of effort put into the decor, furniture and cleaning it could be an awesome stay that people would be more than happy to return too. It felt quite run down

Jake (5/5): Nice Location, Easy Going Staff - Nicely located near a main bus terminal. Mostly private cabins. No fly screens on windows so at night you have to choose to either be stifling hot with all the windows shut or be eaten by mosquitos
Anna (8/5): Loved our stay here - Actually really loved our stay here as a family of four. Good value for money for such a huge room and in such a great location. Kids loved the trampoline, swimming pool and spa and we loved our back door opened up to these facilities so kids could come and go as they pleased. Beautiful view of the water from the living room. Fully equipped kitchen with everything you need. Quick walk to supermarket, eateries and the bus stop! Would 100% stay again. Yes it’s run down but you get what you pay for. The location and size of the rooms def makes up for that in my opinion.

Global14629639952 (10/5): Fantastic Stay on Waiheke - What a brilliant place and price for our stay on Waiheke. Place was bigger then we anticipated and was fantastic all round. Kitchen, bathroom, dining and lounge area plus 2 seperate bedrooms. We had a fantastic time. Beds were comfy and place very clean. Will be visiting again!!

David (4/5): Poor value, poor standard - It is a spacious property and fairly quiet Location was odd - must be the worst street on Waiheke. Very close to neighbours - children and dogs running around, so no real privacy. This isn't a 'professional' type of accommodation, it's a run-down older style bach, without the facilities or decor i'd expect from a Motel provider. If I wanted to rent someone's bach I would have gone to bookabach or an Air BnB.

Seemed more of a place a tradesman would stay than for a tourist/ things needed a revamp as seemed old such as the yellow toilet seat. The pool wasn’t open and looked tired and old.

Jackie (2/5): - -10 out of 5. Paid $250 US. ,440nz. I saw Kelly in town and told him a few things needed. Such as replacing a broken can opener. TP. He says, request coming. Well it never came. We were later told that those items will not be provided. Hum. Ok. Is he scamming his guests? I left a note saying there were safety issues, would Kelly like me to review them. No response. I left a note because the office is never open. I stayed there in December for 15 nights. Saw Kelly for a few minutes the whole time. Smoke alarm had to be reset. Which little 5 foot me, had to climb on a chair and whack it with a broom. Fridge door wouldn't shut because the freezer was caked in ice. Toilet wouldn't stop running. I'm not a complainer. But this was over the top terrible. I have family in waiheke. They told me to not ever stay there again. There are many other options.

Paul (3/5): Poor - Bad mouldy smell as soon as we opened the door, said in the book rooms would be serviced daily, we stayed for 3 nights and not once was the room serviced. Our bin was overflowing with rubbish. Child safety door was coming off the hinges. I tightened it everyday but kept coming loose again. Place needs a major overhaul. Maybe some will say it's not expensive but only in NZ would close to $300 per night not be classed as expensive for this place. Location was great.

We were even able to take our Staffy dog, which was great. We went across the road to the Ostend markets. Very central for all trips on the island. Would recommend here and hope to be back.
