• Ave (7/5): It was good. - Close to everything, it was just a walk to the shops, takeaways etc. The room was clean, but the only thing we didn't like was that there was no proper sink for the dirty dishes. There was a container in the bathroom, but we didn't know it was for the dirty dishes until the day we left. We didn't want to wash our dirty dishes in the bathroom sink, but we had no choice but to use it. It felt very unhygienic. The rubbish bin was far too small for the bathroom and the kitchen.

• Owl (7/5): Met our expectations, only there overnight. Could have been better but could have been a lot worse - Short walk to a few places like supermarket and pub but also just a few minutes drive from the University. Room was quite simple and mostly met our needs. It was handy being able to park right outside the room too. Plenty of hot water and a spa bath were a nice addition. The fan in the bathroom was rather loud and some icons on the aircon remote have worn away making it more difficult to use. There was some noisy traffic at times which isn't the fault of the motel, but a pity. The lady who greeted us was very pleasant but maybe she could have found at least a couple of positive things to say about Palmerston North, yes we know it's not a world tourist centre but it must have a couple of things going for it. A hotplate and a frying pan would have been appreciated as I'm not sure a toaster and a microwave quite qualify as a kitchenette - but not a deal breaker for our short stay.

• Duncan (9/5): Was very pleased to stay at this place so close to town - Great place to stay. Clean, tidy, and quiet and only a few minutes walk in to the centre of town. Also very close to Pak'n Save and the shopping center. Reception was super helpful. Hard to find any minus about staying here
• Jane (8/5): Thoroughly recommend as a weekend stay in Palmerston North - Excellent, friendly hosts. Great location. So clean and fully equipped with toiletries and tea/coffee supplies. Particularly liked the fact we had lazy boy chairs to relax in. A great stay.

• Rangj (9/5): Thank you so much for being great host. Very welcoming - The bathroom was very clean and very large which is great to move around in. The shower was also great especially with the pressure. There was clearly mark shower gel and shampoo and conditioner available. As my husband is disable the toilet was a little low and he needed to really judge the height. The tiles outside the shower wee slippery, but we managed with using the towels on the floor with the bath mat

• Rowena (7/5): Get away - Location was perfect, the bath and the shower were great. Good size room too. We were made to feel welcomed. Off road parking available. The bed and the pillows were very hard. I was up in the middle of the night as I was so uncomfortable and sore.

Well equipped, I especially appreciated the built in spacious desk area and free wifi that made working from the unit comfortable and easy. Michelle, the manager was a great host.
