- Clare (9/5): Good value short stay. - Good value, clean, loved the linen and colours (turquoise and white), adequate cooking facilities, balcony, good for short stay, glimpses of lake from upstairs lounge area, heat pumps, friendly staff. Single beds upstairs are probably suitable for children as I could feel the springs and had to add a few layers. Sound transfer from upstairs to bedrooms below as has timber floors was noted. Otherwise good place! Would rebook here but only use the 2 bedrooms downstairs.
- Pascale (9/5): A relaxing stay in Taupō in Autumn - A quiet location, off the busy lakefront, though a 5-minute walk to it. Staff is pleasant and available all day. Lady at Reception let me arrive a little earlier since my unit was ready.. I stayed 4 nights by myself, so unit size was perfect for me. She also accepted my request to swap unit for a ground floor one (I had hip surgery a few months ago and I'm.still not keen on steps especially with luggage). Bed is flat, strong and very comfortable. Taupō's weather gets cold in Autumn.. 4C when I left mid-May and electric blankets would be welcome. Units need renovation in order to justify their price. Kitchenette is very small with no sink. 3 beds sleeping 4 people but only 2 chairs! More towel railings and hooks in bathroom would be handy, especially if more than one person in.

Mould on the walls of shower Owner doing work on building right outside windows during our stay, really noisy. Double bed wad uneven and lumpy.

- Kaley (7/5): Comfortable stay! Made affordable by ongoing reno work - Inside the room is very spacious! AC works great! Bed was comfortable. This property is currently under renovation, so the exterior is WIP, making it difficult to locate our room initially. There are a few things in the room that could be better secured including the refrigerator.

L'appartement 2 chambres était top, avec une superbe vue sur le lac et les montagnes à l'étage, avec les chambresau rez-de-chaussée. Le personnel est super. Merci de nous avoir permis de changer d'appartement. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour.
- Alan (4/5): The room was a health and safety issue - The location was great, The room did not have a kitchen sink or cooking facilities, apart from a microwave. We therefore needed to wash any utensils or crockery in the bathroom sink, which is a health and safety issue. This room was not depicted on the website and we paid full price for a room which we did not receive. The toilet bowl was dirty and room dusty.

Clean and comfy, kitchen has all the things that you need even has anelectric fryer. The shower head is old so water pressure isn't the best. It's like watering the plants.

- Lisa (8/5): Lovely motel room with good facilities and friendly staff. - The beds were very comfortable, and the linen was clean and of good quality. The kitchen facilities were great, although we had no hot water in the sink - maybe that was intentional so we couldn't wash the dishes..? The bathroom needs better lighting and a fan for the shower steam.

- Clare (3/5): Disappointing - It was within walking distance to downtown Taupo. The rating for this motel was 8.2. Our particular unit was old and in poor repair. There were precariously placed power boards that seemed dangerous, the kitchen cupboard door was hanging off and the toilet was stained and looked revolting. It was like a “student flat” and not somewhere I would think had an 8.2 rating. There was no kitchen sink and the dishes were not cleaned or the bed made during the room service - the towels were replaced though.

- carla (8/5): Buen lugar para 1 noche! - Muy limpio, amplio y comodo. Tiene parking propio y buena conexion a Wifi. Desde nuestra habitacion podias ver un poco del lago. A 3 cuadras del area comercial. En nuestra habitacion, las paredes del baño no llegaban al techo, por lo que estaba abierto al resto de la habitacion.

- Martine (8/5): Prima verblijf in taupo - Ruime kamer, grote keuken en prima bedden. Leuk balkon met uitzicht. Douche putje liep niet door en er liepen mieren over de aanrecht. Simpele veeg met doek deed de trick om weg te halen.
