Guest Reviews
- Justin (10/5): Spot on - Plenty of car parking space Nothing
- Elizabeth (7/5): Handy location. Excellent Parking. - The bed was comfortable. Most amenities were provided. Close Parking was ideal. Nearby to appointment location, No hair dryer provided. No extra blanket. No lounge chair. TV remote was not working properly, Could only access a few channels. Reception was closed on a Sunday. Pool closed for maintenance.
- Michael (7/5): -
- Lisa (7/5): Ok for our one night - Price and location, suitable for our one night stay. Power point near tv and kettle did not work.
Could have been cleaner.
- Anand Rangaswamy (4/5): - The location and friendly staff Everything is very old, sagging beds, drain cockroaches, poor WiFi, bed bugs
- Judith Brooks (7/5): -
- Karl (8/5): - We love the location - only being a few minutes away from Lidcombe train station. Motel was very empty for this time - which was great as parking was a lot easier. The room smelt really musty like it hadn't been in for a while and cigarette smoke made the room stink. Very older Motel.
- Melanie (4/5): - The staff were friendly. The room smelt awful. I'm not sure what it was but it smelt like stale urine. There was also lot pf ants in the room - they went towards any surface where we stored food and were even crawling over our bed.
- Curtin (4/5): - The location. Shower did not work properly. Bathroom light went off by itself and poor quality pillows.
- Elizabeth (8/5): Convenient and cosy. - WiFi was good this time. Very quiet. Good Parking. More towels and washers and toiletries would be helpful. A less intrusive night light.
- Suhail Amin (7/5): -
- kim (3/5): -

- Ahoafi (5/5): - The room that I was in was having that strong and smells of urine I can say on the carpet, and it was annoying

- DENISE (7/5): Great accommodation that met our brief- somewhere to sleep, shower and get ready to go out from a central base. - Convenient location. Easy parking outside room. Family Deluxe Suite very small for 4 adults but we coped. Could have provided breakfast bowls and cutlery in room for people who wanted to make toast or cereal with their morning coffee.
- Elizabeth (9/5): Suits our requirements.. Close access to Hurstville. Easy access to exit Sydney northwards. - A mini oasis in a busy city. All amenities needed are provided. Garden work haas been done well. The internet was not reliable.
- Colin (8/5): - Location. Accessible and for disabled guests. A little run down. Parking of vehicle during peak days.
- Te-hou (7/5): -

- Sian (10/5): - Close to bus stops Swimming pool could of been cleaner and more shade
- Jenna (2/5): It was not good - Location The bathroom was dirty. There were loud drug addicts arguing next door. The fridge was off and when turned on leaked all over the floor. The towels were old and threadbare.
- Sigid (7/5): - The price is good. It's good for transit, I don't think it's good for long stay The facilities, toilet door doesn't close properly.

Staff were very frendly and helpfull. The curtain rail needed some repair, curtain would not stay closed .Airconitioner was noisy.

- Kurt (10/5): - Absolutely like this motel inside would definitely like to stay here again N/A
- McLaren (7/5): -
- Nikita (4/5): It was below average and a little disappointing especially when you come from out of town - We liked that they didn’t have a mini bar they had a vending machine so we knew we wouldn’t have any hidden fees The door chain on the door was broken on arrival and had to call to get fixed, the tv didn’t have any working channels we didn’t know there was wifi till we were leaving and the Italian restaurant is closed and has been closed since Covid also didn’t like having our room cleaned up
It was also pretty expensive for a three day stay
- Emrys (7/5): - Clean comfortable. Friendly staff. Great location. Will definitely stay again. Unfortunately out of the control of the Motel....we had builders on power tools at 7.30am for both mornings of our stay.
- Laurie (10/5): -
- Harald (7/5): Good location, lack of dinners - Location Access to dinning
- Clint (1/5): It was disgusting - The place is filthy and cockroach ridden , arcons dont work , tvs dont work properly and very rude management , i would advise people not to stay there Everything, could be a great place if they had the right management who cared about the guests instead of being a rude person who couldnt give a crap
- david (5/5): like an alfred hitchcock movie set - location noisy gardeners early in the morning
- Toni (8/5): -
- Alexander (6/5): The place is ok … not bad but not very good as well… convinient for tourists. - convince location
- Brooke (4/5): Receptionist great. Very poor service from the caretaker who was there to “assist” after hours for late arrivals as per - Location to what we needed Care taker was rude and obnoxious for our after hours check in , and was allocated a room next to a drug and/ or alcohol induced guest who kept us up all night even with the police being called - caretaker on site and there was no intervention with the person causing issues until the next day
- Toni (1/5): -
- Joel (8/5): - I got a room upgrade Single beds roled evrywhere on the hard flooring, take off wheels.
- Mark (6/5): - The room is not clean
- Daniela Sanchez (10/5): Buena estancia para 1 o 2 noches - Todo esta muy limpio , cómodo, la habitación es grande , la ducha funciona bien , el Internet es de calidad.
- Joel (10/5): - Clean 5 stars ✨
- Ma Cielo (7/5): Our stay is worth the money. - clean and accessible some of the electric plugs isn't working; the AC takes time to work in the desires temperature. The double lock fell off once we arrived.
- Natasha (5/5): -
- Sam (8/5): -
- Sarah (7/5): Good for a short and cheap stay - Affordable and good for a short stay. Smelt of cigarette smoke. No rubbish bin. A microwave is provided but no plates or cutlery. Can’t close the bathroom window so made for cold mornings/evenings.
- Broad (1/5): Absolutley disgusting - Location Soiled beds mouldy bathrooms no fire alarm absolutley disgusting aircon didnt work had to as the maintenance worker for a heater as it was extremley cold we had to sleep on the floor with our sleeping bags as we didnt trust the beds
- Dallas (6/5): Pleasant -
- Michelle (10/5): Exceptional - Friendly reception and very helpful nothing was a problem
- Colin (8/5): Very good -
- Sarah (8/5): Great stay- will be back. The refreshed rooms are fab! Thank you - The room was fresh and the beds were very comfy. It was a cold night and the staff had kindly put the heater on in our room so it could warm up. I would reccommend it as an easy place to stay with families. It is 15-20 mins from main Sydney but an easy drive in. For the price it is amazing! Will stay again! We couldn't get the television to work but that is because there is a special button near the bed which turns it on. Could do with some knoves and forks in the room even if they are wooden ones.
- Jessica (1/5): Don’t stay here it’s disgusting - The lady on reception was really nice. There was nothing about this hotel I liked. It was filthy.
The carpets are gross felt like your feet stuck to it, the shower was terrible, beds uncomfortable, my son’s bed was broken and he had to prop it up with a shoe. There’s no windows that open so it was stuffy and stunk, bed felt dirty, there were bugs flying around, PowerPoints broken, tv cut in and out, we got locked out because they had metal over the door handles to stop people from breaking in. Bathroom flooded after one shower. Having a shower there was like showering in a toilet block at a caravan park. It was absolutely disgusting. Paid $180 such a rip off.
Locals who live there outside yelling and swearing, people wondering around the car park at night.
- Elizabeth (5/5): Passable - One of the beds in our room was broken - grateful there was 2 other beds we could use!
Multiple of the power points were not functional (one was completely broken & missing the switch)
- Loan (9/5): Superb -
- Noelene (1/5): Awful. Didn't stay was scared. Place needs to be demolished - Nothing. Jumped in car and left. Got refund later that week Cockroach jammed in front door alive. Flushed toilet then had to wait to flush again .Bathroom needs to be demolished with rest of room. Bed no good . Creepy place falling apart. Other rooms rented out to homeless. Pool old. Contactless check in.
- Tracy (4/5): Staff were lovely but - Location and parking at the door A lot of homeless ??? people living in there.
Some Shady looking people too
Cigarette butt behind the bedside table
Other than that room was ok for overnight stay
- Kylie (9/5): Superb -
- Matilda (2/5): Would not stay again... ever. - Free parking When we arrived police were attending to a woman next door who was clearly drug affected, fighting people in the carpark, this was very scary for my child to witness. I asked reception if those people would be kicked out as I don't want to stay next door to them, she said police were removing the woman, however her friends remained in the room and were loitering around the front yelling and swearing on the phone until 4am, we got no sleep. I tried calling reception with no answer, and didn't feel safe leaving the child alone to walk to reception.
The rooms stink, carpet is filthy and it's very outdated.. smells like the room is covered in 50 years of cigarette smoke and spilled alcohol, which triggered mine and my childs asthma.. was not pleasant. The water to wash hands and shower is also broken. For $160 a night, there's air bnbs that are cheaper, or next time I'd fork out the extra $20 and stay somewhere more hygienic and safer.
- Angela (5/5): Average but convenient - Location was good. Easy check in and out The bathroom was pretty dirty. The shower curtain had mould on it and as well as the shower recess.
- Juliet (7/5): Good -
- Margaret (5/5): Passable - Good communication, and easy check in process. There were cigarettes at the door, when we arrived nd the room smelled of stale cigarettes. It was worse with AC on. Must be in AC filter.
- Shannon (7/5): Good -
- Burleigh (6/5): Police turned up people who live there trying to get into other peoples rooms running from Police - Comfortable beds Having the Police turn up asking if we had seen a person, then the Police finding that person in the pool area and then they ran from Police, More Police arrived and start questioning more people living at the hotel and some of those people were trying to get into our room running from Police. Noise by the residents all night made us feel unsafe
- Sharon (7/5): Good - Staff were very friendly and room very clean and quiet. Being asked by neighbouring guests for cigarettes and if I could swap their coles gift card for cash.
- Selwyn (5/5): Passable -
- Brian (7/5): Adequate and comfy enough but not spectacular. - Large room. Park outside unit Looked like original decor from over 50 years ago.
- Annette (7/5): Good -
- Shay (3/5): Poor -
- Edwin (1/5): Scary experience - The location is excellent. Very close to the Sydney CBD. The motel is extremely dirty. The air-conditioning is full of mould. It is like it never gets a professional person to clean it since it is installed.
The room does not have any windows, therefore the room is smelly. The beds are extremely soft. My wife was joking with me saying that it was our first bed when we were students, collected the bed from the council's kerbside collection.
The bed usually has four wheels, one of the bed wheels fell off and it didn't get fixed even reported. I didn't get any sleep for two nights, as just imagining you are sleeping on a slope.
All of the power sockets are not working in the room. We checked in after office hours and didn't know there was a switch next to the bed we needed to switch on before the entire room switches could work? There were no instructions in the room saying you need to do this before it gets power. The person before me also doesn't know as they bring the power by using extension cords from the microwave inside the cupboard to power the television.
My wife was extremely scared when she saw a few big muscular guys living opposite us. There are lots of homeless people living in the motel. We first thought there was hardly anyone staying in this motel as there were only three to four cars (including ours) in the complex. Then we started to realise the motel might have rented this to the government to the homeless people as a transition shelter when they are waiting for a permanent place?
The room next door (looks like homeless people) to us are smoking badly, the smell came into our room no matter how we use the tower to cover the gaps underneath the door, We are a nonsmoker, we doesn't like the smell at all. My entire stay got blamed by my wife and daughters saying why you need to book this motel.
It is a shame so close to Sydney CBD, the owner of the business owner didn't make use of its benefits to do it correctly, attracting visitors giving nicer experience.
- Peter (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tony (7/5): Good -
- Ann (9/5): Superb -
- Ann (9/5): Superb -
- Rebecca (9/5): Superb -
- Greg (8/5): Very good -
- Chris (10/5): Good and I will come back again - It’s easy to get to and very quiet
- Karon (4/5): Fair. - Staff were lovely. Had to wait over an hour in the hot car for the room to be cleaned and a broken bed to be fixed when we arrived at3pm, after travelling for 6hrs. Property looked neglected. Bathroom sink had a large crack through sink, tap could be moved from side to side. Air conditioner initially didn’t work, but someone came and got it sorted. Trouble with tv.
- Rachael (7/5): Basic, functional. - The staff were excellent, friendly and helpful.
Free parking.
Pool is small, but nice.
Great vending machine.
We all slept very well.
Fridge, air con, all worked well. This is an older style motel. It's basic, but it's fine.
For our stay, the toilet paper dispenser didn't work (asked for the 'sheet' toilet paper to be put in the dispenser and was told it was broken). Shower door didn't close fully. Some light globes didn't work.
I was disappointed that the restaurant was not open for breakfast despite the motel saying "Bippys restaurant is open for breakfast only, from 07:15 to 09:30" in their description on Booking.com. Having said all that, I'd consider staying again. Great location for the price.
- Curran (8/5): Very good -
- Jen (7/5): Good -
- Ann (8/5): Very good -
- Krystal (6/5): Overall pretty good - Plenty of space and towels Light was flickering in bedroom. Limited toilet paper. Shower needed a good scrub.
- David (8/5): - Nadeen was excellent thank you for the stay ..great staff
- Merayne (7/5): Comfy and convenient - Beds were comfy and the location was very convenient. Staff were absolutely lovely, even though we only spoke over the phone. Perfect sized room with essential ammenities. Two powerpoint’s in the room didn’t work and one of the overhead light bulbs flickered.
- Steve (1/5): Complete shithole - It was cheap and convenient. Next time I’ll spend more. Bed had stained coverings, cockroaches in the apartment.
Tennant in the next room pacing back and forth and slamming doors until 1am and woke to the sound of the tenant being evicted at 6am in the morning.
Then had the cleaner standing at my door waiting for me to leave even though it wasn’t check out time and later realised she had the wrong room.
Was glad to leave.
- Alyssa (7/5): Good value for money - great location for Olympic Park events - Room size Amenities
- Elliott (7/5): Clean, convenient, friendly staff, great value - We were going to an event at Olympic park. The town and country motel is situated about 11km away and offer free parking. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The room had a double and two single beds. Offered air con, tv, microwave, toaster, fridge, kettle, tea and coffee The room was clean as was all the linen. If I had to be critical the room could have used a cosmetic refresh. But overall a nice stay, better that some others I have had in the area.
- Sharon (7/5): Good - The location and the staff Facility is a little dated
- Ebonee (9/5): Nice - Big, clean room. The bed was comfortable, and there was even a little couch and a little table with two chairs. It's a little outdated but still very nice. The shower is over a bath and can be a little slipery, so I would suggest they put down a non-slip mat. It is on a very busy road,so expect traffic noise.
- Toni (8/5): Very good -
