• Michael (10/5): Nice Sirprise - We arrived having stayed in a 4 star Hotel in the Gold Goast and the facilities, onsite restaurant and staff were far more friendly and in better condition then what we experienced in GC. Nothing we didn't like. We would recommend staying here for anybody visiting Bundaberg.

• Emma (4/5): Terrible. - Ensure you ask for a room away from contractors. I had an experience of a large group gathered outside of my room drinking and swearing for many hours. Staff reported they could do this until 8pm. I asked them if they could move to the allocated barbeque area with no luck. When up early the members of this group stood out side my room making noises. A disappointing and scary experience for a single female traveler.

• Mitchell (5/5): Crap - Clean The dragon lady that worked in the office. Rude and arrogant. Over the phone and in person. I explained to her that I’d been in hospital for a month and my partner and 3 girls were coming up from the Gold Coast to spend a few days with us. She didn’t care and Was going to charge us an extra $50 to check in an hour early and when we got there the place was deserted . She was cranky when we asked for toilet paper . They gave us two roles for two nights for 5 people. Ended up leaving early and going out to Bargara to make up for the few crappy days spent there. Got a place twice as big and for $10 extra . On the beach with great views. The bloke working there was a good bloke . But his colleague let him down. Would not stay or recommend anyone to stay there because of the dragon lady.

As a solo female traveller I would have felt safer with a peep hole in the door and also better blinds on the window. The window was my main concern- it opens straight onto the carpark and the curtain doesn't sit flush, meaning when the curtain was closed there was a gap down the side that someone could look into- making it worse they would look directly into the mirror which faced the bed - meaning that anyone standing outside the room could have a fantastic view of anyone on the bed. I was only able to cover the gap by hanging clothes from the curtain rail. It really needs a blind that sits flush with the window.

Despite being close to the road, there was very little traffic noise, which made for a peaceful night’s sleep. Overall, a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
• Shayne (9/5): Clean, friendly and easy stay in Bundy! - The rooms are not huge but they are some of the cleanest I’ve ever stayed in. I am an absolute clean freak and it was refreshing to finally be in a room I felt was hygienic and the cleaners doing all things that show attention to detail is important. Not much really. If I was to be nit picking, I didn’t understand why the bed wasn’t made fully. The blankets are folded in the cupboard so they were supplied I just didn’t understand it. Also, the fur blanket that is brown in colour smelt very used and didn’t feel fresh or clean at all. Other than the above I was really impressed with my overall experience.

Staff were very helpful and the restaurant was bright airy and very clean. Bathroom was little dated but very clean as well. Daily servicing was a good touch as well.
