It was clean and modern and had viewable TV (Sky) channels rather than the now common place log in use your own accounts. Owner/Receptionist information and personality Everting was good or better, but the price was high, even considering the location etc. Other than price everything else no complaints.

Nice to have sky sport after a week of no accommodation having it. Wished I’d bought swimming togs for pool. Looked lovely. Feel decor a little drab. But didn’t matter for our purposes. Was our last stay for the week away and was over stairs. Had climbed 250 stairs to lighthouse and everywhere we went after that had stairs.

Bathroom Towels were tired & faded was glad I took my own face cloth. A dish cloth would have been helpful used a tea towel Out door spaces & chairs very tired Table & chairs could do with a re stain /paint worn faded covers and pot plants full of dead plants & weeds for the price of the room we expected better

With a pool and spa it’s great for families. Apartments quite spacious and well kitted out with everything you need. Nothing!

• H & A (9/5): If ever we are In Raumati or Paekākāriki again we will definitely stay here. - Great location. Close to amenities, walking distance to everything we needed. Great for family with full kitchen and space to spread out. The parking was really tight for big cars but staff were upfront and honest from the start and really helpful. There is plenty of parking directly across the road so not really a problem.

Op de foto zag het er een mooi groot zwembad uit, maar was in werkelijkheid niet zo aanlokkelijk. Jammer want we hadden speciaal gekozen voor dit verblijf doordat er een zwembad was, maar als het dan niet overeenkomt met de foto, dat is vrij misleidend.

• Tricia Paterson (9/5): Christmas in Raumati - Great location to the beach, park, and shops. The apartments are all self contained with a kitchen, washing machine and dryer. The kids loved the pool and spa. We will definitely stay again. The parking is tight, so trying to get around other guests large vehicles can be difficult at times. So if possible don't bring the ute.

Some of the car parks aren't suitable for larger vehicles and very difficult to get in and out of. However, there are plenty of street parking spaces available.

Avec une piscine sympa Dommage qu'il n'y pas de vue depuis notre logement. Dommage que les jardiniers soient venus nettoyés notre terrasse à 8h le matin alors que nous n'étions pas encore réveillés.

• Theresa (10/5): Thank you very much! - I stayed at Raumati Sands Resort with my sister, as we had a family gathering, (funeral), to attend. I asked for 2 single beds instead of a big bed. When we arrived, we were surprised to have a 2 bedroom unit/apartment. We weren't expecting that. We had a bit of a hiccup during our stay, and the staff were so kind and helped with reassurance. Everything was in the room that we needed during our stay. The room was very comfortable. Loved the shower. The beds were very comfortable. Will definitely stay again when I'm down this way. Thank you! The only thing I can think of was the smoke alarm going off, as it is right outside the bathroom door. This was due to my sister having a hot shower and leaving the door open when she finished, before the fan got rid of the steam properly.
• Anne Merritt (9/5): Perfect location, lovely hosts - We were really only there to sleep as had family commitments, however the beds were very comfortable and the lounge area well appointed.
• Kelly (10/5): Excellent accommodation - We loved this place, we arrived to be told we had been upgraded, the facilities were amazing. The kitchen was well equipped,I heard others say they weren't expecting to go upstairs to the bedrooms but I loved this. There are shops (liquor and dairy) within easy walking distance as well as a number of places to eat. We enjoyed the spa and swimming pool, and could look over the road and see the ocean. There were only 2 things we didn't think were up to the very high standard of everything else, we were in number 9 and our car park was all the way around the other side. And the other was how the water in the shower leaked onto the bathroom floor.

Was not impressed at all with the attitude of a male staff regards my complaint, as my ignorance was quite apparent when arriving to find there was no power, the response from the staff in attendence was shocking, basically accusing my partner for being stupid for not knowing to put the card in the slot to activate the power. I let it slide, however the following day he sent me a text expressing his annoyance, which I found quite arrogant. His words " Seriously very annoyed, how could you possibly know that you had to put the key in the slot for the power ??? " "Assumption is the mother of all stuff ups" not my words, My response was, with such an attitude, l would not rate him positively for customer experience

• Anmaree (8/5): - The location was definitely the highlight - it was close to everything and very convenient. The rooms weren’t terrible, just a bit old and in need of a refresh. Staff were friendly, but I think the parking situation could be managed a bit better. Parking was quite tight, and we were told to use the park in front of our unit. Unfortunately, other guests parked in our spot a couple of times, which was frustrating, especially with a little one in tow. The apartment itself was clean and tidy overall, but we did notice some dust around the place, which gave us a bit of an allergy flare-up. We ended up checking out a day early and because we heard the weather was going to be bad again.

Perfect getaway away from home and it feels like you are enjoying a tropical holiday. Kids love the heated pool, we were able to enjoy it even on a cold and rainy day. We arrived early and we were given an early smooth check-in.

It was quiet and comfortable and had everything we needed. Staff were friendly and accommodating and the car parking was excellent. Great to have a toilet on both levels. We didn't need the washing machine but this is great to have for longer stays.
