• Lily (8/5): Great location, clean, comfortable and spacious - Great location, clean, comfortable and spacious. The water pressure in the shower is fantastic. It’s a three-star motel, so you don’t expect luxury. Things to note are it’s a bit noisy, with doors at each end of the room, one opening onto a corridor and the other on to the car park.

Maybe due to recent repainting?? Also, the small fridge was in a closed cupboard and was getting very hot on its top. We felt we needed to leave the cupboard door ajar for safety. Made a huge difference. Not complaining, but trying to be helpful.

The bathroom was such a disappointment, right out of the 1980's, its appearance was unclean, old plumbing fixtures remain, no bathroom exhaust fan fitted. Shower water pressure and temperature kept fluctuating.

There were some updated touches which were nice but still a bit on the older side. We had a nice stay, but unfortunately the beds weren't that comfortable so we didn't end up sleeping very well.

Also, USB C ports next to the bed, cleanliness, quiet, safe and actual decent lighting. I also liked how the hallway looked like the Titanic's inside. Close to the pub/s too, most important for when you're bored. It's not great to make guests wait almost a half hour to be seen to.
