• Shawna (9/5): Great Stay, will definetly come back - This hotel is a gem in Newcastle. We loved the pool area with the hot tub and the easy access to the Leagues Club for dinner. The staff were lovely and the beds were comfortable. It was very clean. The included breakfast was excellent and they even gave me a coffee in a takeaway cup which was very appreciated. There was nowhere to park before check-in -we had to park up and around the corner and walk to the the hotel and then go back to our car for our luggage. Once we were checked in there was provided parking. The bathroom set up has no privacy whatsoever. Fine, if you're a married couple but awkward set up otherwise. I don't know if every room was like this, but I do wish I'd known this before booking. Its possible that with 2 beds you get some privacy with a different lay-out... but I wouldn't book this room again knowing that I couldn't get out of the shower without being visible to the whole room or use the facilities without true privacy.

Given a room to the back of the property, curtains were sheer room full of light, window wouldn’t close properly, letting road and pub patron noise into the room at night. Bed uncomfortable, grout in the shower had some mould. All in all disappointing. What’s worse we are members and have stayed on multiple occasions. Very disappointed. We got to stay in the neglected room

Breakfast was overlooking the pool area. So nice. There were several areas for eating but we chose to eat in the Bistro. Joined the Wests Club and received a nice discount on everything. Meals here were large. Nothing to dislike.

Baumaterialien liegen in den Fluren, und nur ein Aufzug steht zur Verfügung, der zudem von Arbeitern genutzt wird. Es gibt laute Bohrarbeiten, die den Aufenthalt massiv stören. Ein Pool ist in ständiger Reparatur und dauerhaft geschlossen. Ein zweiter Pool war ebenfalls zwei Tage lang nicht nutzbar. Es gibt laute Bohrarbeiten, die den Aufenthalt massiv stören. • Zimmerreinigung mangelhaft: Das Zimmer wurde erst nach zweimaligem Nachhaken an der Rezeption notdürftig gesaugt. Sauberkeit ist unzureichend, auch an weiteren Tagen. Der Flur im Hotel ist ebenfalls dreckig. • WLAN-Probleme: Die Internetverbindung ist schwach, bricht ständig ab und ist unzuverlässig. Der Zimmer-WLAN-Zugang funktioniert nicht, nur ein ungesichertes Netzwerk ist verfügbar. Highspeed-Internet wie bei der Buchung versprochen war zur keiner Zeit verfügbar.

The elevator was not working during our stay. The room aisle felt quite narrow, which made moving around a bit uncomfortable. The breakfast staff appeared quite tired.

• April (7/5): Location is great. Unaware of works happening at property until we had arrived. - Location is great! Beds are very comfy, even the sofa bed. Access to club is great too. We have stayed at The Executive Inn Newcastle a number of times before and have always enjoyed a good stay. This time around was below expectations. We were not aware of works happening at the property. One of the lifts was not working on arrival and then both lifts were not working on check out so it was busy in the stair well. The pools were also receiving some TLC. The spa and the smaller pool were out of action. Luckily the third pool was working but it was a busy afternoon.

• Kunsang (4/5): Apart from above mentioned issues, all others are good. - The facilities and location No Balcony, the room was close to the breakfast area and too noisy in the early morning when we wanted to have sleep late. The cutlery noise and people loud while passing by the main entrance to the breakfast.
• Sally-Ann (10/5): Girl’s weekend, it was the perfect location! Ten minutes from everywhere we wanted to go. - Location Nothing

• suzanne (8/5): Staff were very polite and helpful - Location Lifts weren’t working
• Matilda (9/5): Close to everything, friendly staff and clean! - The staff at the front desk were lovely! We had a good laugh about me and my partner going for different teams in the football and then they gave us an Easter egg. I would go back just for the staff! We couldn’t get the tv to work properly but it’s no big deal
