Breakfast provisions are provided including cereals, toast and eggs. The property as so much character and the gardens are a pleasure to explore. Would have liked to stay longer and explore more of Bairnsdale.

• Christine (8/5): It was a pleasant experience, so much nicer than a motel room. - We liked the location, easy distance to walk to the shops and local places to eat. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The gardens were cute and so much nicer than staying at a Motel. Our room was well appointed and comfortable. We went on the suggested walk from our host and went to the eateries that were suggested. We were glad that we chose this stay at Bairnsdale over Lakes Entrance as on our way out we went through this alternate location and found it so much more crowded and busier. I was expecting a proper Bed and Breakfast experience with a cooked breakfast rather than just having bread, eggs and all spreads available for us to cook. However, the food and drinks provide were sufficient.,

I loved that it was quirky and individual, and the colourful decor in the room.The hosts were very generous with the unique little touches in the room I stayed in. For example aside from the food for a good breakfast the next morning, there were a few chocolates to have with a cup of tea, they provided extra swimming towels if you wanted to go swimming at the local pool, and more. I personally do not do well sleeping on or close to anything polyester or plastic. When I went to bed I quickly got over heated and discovered the mattress protector was plastic on the underside. I took it off for the night and ended up having a good sleep as the bed was quite comfy
