- Michelle (8/5): Overall we loved our stay. - was very happy with location, restaurants and petrol station close. Being outside surfers was good but could still get there. We loved the pool area after a busy day for a quick swim and dip in the spa. The whole area was clean outdoors. Loved the size of the apartments. Parking was great and easy access to the rooms. Hooks were on the wall but no pictures. Could do with a paint. The wifi was not strong so we had to use hotspot instead. No garbage bin we just had to use bags

- Wiliam (7/5): Average - The overall size of the apartment was great but we did have a lot of stuff on us and had to carry it up 4 flights of stairs when we did request a ground floor apartment. The bed in the master bedroom was very hard, we put a spare mattress on the floor and used this. The ensuite bathroom needed a professional clean.

Having two bathrooms was also so handy! Fitted four adults and a toddler so easily. The apartment needed a couple of things fixed but nothing major. Was fixed while we were there.

Aircon is only in sitting room, one bedroom has even no fan, however staff is good they change the room. Too hot to sleep if weather too hot.

- Amiria (7/5): Amazing location for convenience - The very best location for theme parks and Harbour town with a bus going straight to SeaWorld, couldn't recommend more highly. A designated and secure carpark underground which meant the car wasn't an oven getting into it. There were flaked paint patches on some of the doors and windows frames which made it feel unloved. Could do with a bit of a reno. Aircon situated in the lounge which is far away from the bedroom where it is needed.

Great airy apartment. Bed was very comfortable, modern spacious bathrooms and aesthetically pleasing. Prime location. Short walk to beach, restaurants, parks, etc. Top balcony view of fireworks display, very relaxing and enjoyable. Definitely recommend for your next family vacation None but worth mentioning stairs gives you a light work out. 😉

- Tammy (3/5): No value for money, would not recommend this stay to others. - The apartment itself was spacious enough and it was nice to have a kitchen and laundry to yourself. The secure parking, pool and spa were the only other positives. The beds were beyond firm, they were hard as rocks and caused significant pain and discomfort and made for minimal sleep throughout the stay. To add to it, there was absolutely no sound proofing in the apartment, you could hear everything and everyone including every shower and toilet flushing in the apartments above and below you. There is a mixture of permanent residents and holiday accommodation, with some of the residents not having much respect for others by blasting offensive music and having all nighters, even standing naked in the windows which was completely disrespectful considering families and young children staying there. There was completely insufficient kitchen cooking utensils available, which made for cooking basically impossible. The dryer was broken and minimal pegs to hang your washing on the outside clothes hangers. The TV was basic and did not have any options for streaming services which is not ideal for families.

- Michelle (7/5): Nice size but needs a big clean and paint & repair job - It was great to have a laundry and full kitchen and ensuite. Free parking also a big bonus and close to everything. Murray was very friendly & helpful and we enjoyed the pool & spa and the barbecue was clean Very outdated and not very clean. Aircon in 2nd room not working and you could feel the heat in that room even at night with ceiling fan on. Room walls and carpets were dirty. Only 2 toilet rolls, all the beds were rock hard so we barely slept at all. Only a sheet on main bed with no blanket or spare bedding. Not enough dustbin bags provided to get rid of your rubbish, 3rd floor with no lift was a pain! Only 1 small soap in bathroom so we had to buy more for our stay. Cutting knives are blunt and useless. Lounge recliners were broken and double chairs came apart. Overall it looks like there’s no actual cleaners that come in when people leave so you probably rely on how much the previous person cleaned the place.

- Diana (7/5): It was basic, practical and clean. - The apartment was clean and had all the basics. The pool was lovely, and well maintained. Murray is very friendly and helpful. This is a very basic apartment. For example, there was no lamp or side table in the 2nd bedroom, no bins in the bathrooms, only blankets and sheets as bedding, no spare bedding, no tea or coffee etc provided (not even one teabag). It was advertised as air conditioned, but only has one unit in the lounge area. It was advertised as having Foxtel, but there was none. Only free to air TV available, and not a smart TV, so couldn't Chromecast, or log in to any paid providers. I had to ask for a tea towel as there was not one provided. The kitchen is stocked, but is as minimal as it could be (e.g. - One wine glass only) You are expected to put your rubbish in the main bin, but no spare bin liners are provided. In short, it is a practical apartment, but none of the comforts I would expect from a Gold Coast holiday let. It is in need of a refurbishment, when this is done, it would be much better. Other apartments in the complex must have been refurbished, judging by the pictures on the website, just not the one I stayed in!
- Tracy (8/5): Needs some love but spacious and safe. - Location was great and the host was very friendly and helpful. The 2brd apartment was spacious, had its own laundry (washer andd dryer) which was a godsend. The ensuite was great size too. Pool is clean and inviting. TV could sign into Netflix (internet was pretty slow though). Previous guest had stolen the HDMI cable and extension cord for the TV/DVD, Murray the host went and bought new ones for us the next day which was great. It was run-down but for our budget in that area it was still good value. Plenty of places to eat in walking distance, servo across the street came in handy too. The place is very run down and needs some love put into it. When we first walked into the apartment there was flakes of ceiling on the floor and a dirty towel. Holes in walls, missing skirting boards in kitchen, the oven dials had all worn away so had no idea of settings or temperatures. Minimal kitchen utensils and pans, had to buy our own to cook spaghetti. The air-conditioning in the kids room wasn't working and we were on the top floor so it was pretty uncomfortable in there with just a fan, spoke to the host he said it would cost too much to repair which is the general gist of the complex. Venetian blinds only on the windows so the sunlight coming in at 4-5in the morning is like having a flashlight shone in your face, we purchased eye masks to help, but don't expect to be able to sleep in. There is no elevator, be warned. Master bed was rock hard, I ended up sleeping on a thin single kids mattress we found in a wardrobe on the floor the entire stay as I just couldn't sleep on it. We were also missing a blanket from one of the beds, only a thin sheet so purchased our own to use.

Heaps of restaurants in walking distance I noticed the people who live there are extremely rude! The dog barking across from our room all the time.. The wet dog smell when walking up the stairs. Dog hair everywhere on the stairs. Aircons not working in the rooms. Bad wifi service. The pool and spa looked dirty and smelled funny On the oven, there is no picture of the settings. It took me 40 minutes to get the right setting to cook. Alot of cracks in the roof and walls Not suitable for a family with disability children

- Liz (1/5): Disappointing, aircon and WiFi were essential when sourcing a place to stay. - Location was central to all the activities we wanted to do. Easy to find, quiet location even though it is located on corner of a main road. Our fridge died on our first day, we lost some of our food as ice could only keep it cold for so long, until the fridge could be looked at the following day. We were moved to another apartment but there was no air con in the bedrooms like our first apartment. It was unbearable to try to sleep with the very humid conditions. We had a fan but it wasn't really doing anything. WiFi was unstable, it was a must when booking.

Broadwater is not really a swimming beach as it is more a mooring place and fishing, but enough to get the kids wet while having a bbq by the park. 🙏
