• Gordon (9/5): I’ll be back again …. longer next time! - The apartment was very well maintained with a full kitchen - after a quick trip to the local shops, the meals were a breeze! After the meal, the walk to the marina and beachfront was very special - check out the “Blue Pool” which was one of those memorable moments. The location made access to the surrounding townships very easy. Nothing to not like - check out the winery up the road - food, wine and scenery breathless.

• Amanda (10/5): Beautiful - The place was well appointed and didn’t reek of disinfectant - almost all the toiletries and cleaning equipment was on the “low smell” side which was marvellous. There was an outdoor light outside our bedroom window that we had to remove the globe to get enough dark to sleep well.

• Wilson (10/5): Spent the weekend viewing Wedding Venues in Bermagui. The Anchorage made us love Bermagui more! - Beautiful location, friendly and prompt staff. Exceptionally clean and very tidy room. Nothing. Everything was amazing.

The only thing is that there was no fan/aircon in the bedroom, and the power sockets didn’t work properly. They kept pushing the plug from my appliances out (especially in the bathroom for my hairdryer etc).

• Max (7/5): Modern apartment but has some design shortcomings. - Good sized apartment with plenty of storage and room to spread out. The balcony with table and chairs was a bonus. Communal laundry but make sure you have 4 dollar coins for the washing machine. There wasn't an AC or fan in the bedroom. Even when we left the AC on in the main living area the bedroom was too warm. The electric stove top was very slow to heat up. Makes you appreciate how good induction cooktops are.

• Emily (8/5): Lovely place to stay for families - Lovely units and our kids loved playing on the playground with other kids- lovely atmosphere.
• Bruce (7/5): OK fulfilled our basic needs - Room size and layout was suitable for our stay but could be improved with non skid floor tiles in the bathroom which were slippery when wet and better availability of staff as reception only manned between 9.00AM and 3.00PM which made it dificult when we lost internet on the Sunday and did not recover until early Monday morning Better communication when internet down such as text message informing all residents so we did not need to stress about resolution so we could continue our trip productively.

• Chang (6/5): overall it does not worth a $440 for a night. - Quiet villages and the bed is comfortable. No reception for a three star rating hotel. And it requires customers to remove rubbish and put the towels away. It’s quite a bit extra work for a hotel over $400 per night. When I booked with the anchorage i think it would be comparable to the anchorage at port Stephen. It turned out I am so wrong. I should have book one night in narooma instead.

• Tony (3/5): Disrupted. - Excellent room When travelling we often need laundry facilities and the facility did indeed provide a laundry and 2 clothes dryers. However, when it was too late for us to change directions and had masses of wet clothes we found out that the clothes dryers were defective. Several hrs were wasted trying to get dry clothea and in the end we hung semi-dry clothes throughout our room so that at least we coud do some sight-seeing. Staff knew the dryers were defective but no warning.

Pool area uninviting and in poor condition. Advertised at $340 per night so thought we were getting a bargain at $220 per night but this is a scam as is the excellent rating.

Plus a second bedroom. Light and spacious very comfortable living area and kitchenette with real ground coffee and plunger, and much much more. Wonderful large windows and beautiful palms right outside framed a wonderful sunny north-easterly aspect. A/C in main living area, with ceiling fans too. All so close to the water, and was wonderfully quiet and secluded yet close to amenities and town too. Ticks all the boxes! Could park right outside our unit. Easy check-in through Booking.com and keyless access code. Friendly text before arrival letting us know where to park, how to access room with code, etc. Highly recommend to others. Would love to stay again sometime!
