• Felicity (4/5): Not coming back. - Bathroom and ensuite in Apartment. Close parking to entrance. I wasn’t made aware of the construction to the building prior to my arrival. The staff were pleasant and made me aware of the broken aircon/ heater which was fine with me and grateful I was told. But I did NOT APPRECIATE HAVING MY CREDIT CARD DEDUCTED prior to my arrival, when i had used it to hold the booking ONLY! As the ad on the booking .com had stated. I should have been contacted about this!! Or asked how you would like your room charged to. This was NOT the card I had intended to use to pay for my room UPON my arrival! Someone else was meant to pay. You have no idea how this has inconvenienced me. I’m so angry about this. I have years of experience in hospitality and know this is unprofessional. Funny though, my sister booked after us only because we were staying at the Quest Ballarat, and because she booked a single room for herself was upgraded with chocolates. This made me feel even better. Thanks so much for tarnishing my stay, even before I arrived.

• Malith (10/5): - We had a great stay at Quest Ballarat. The reception staff were excellent, very friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The location is very good, close to Ballarat Central and shops, which was very convenient. We enjoyed our stay a lot. We spent one day at Ballarat Wildlife Park and another at Sovereign Hill, and Quest Ballarat was a great place to stay for the trip. There were many accommodation options available, but choosing a well-known accommodation chain gave us extra confidence and helped avoid unexpected surprises.

• Thuy (8/5): Beautiful designed room - great location - super clean & comfortable - Clean, nice design, comfortable, & close to the central. Staff were very helpful. I traveled with my son. We got a tiny issue when the receptionist assigned us to a “wrong room” at first time (which was fine as human made mistake from time to time). However, the way the second receptionist handled the mistake was a unacceptable in such a high rank hotel: she rushed into to the room with her keys while we were sleeping as we drank during lunch, and shouted at our face “what is your name?” which is super confusing (We already checked in and she does not know our names?) In our view, the first one - who politely called & apologized for this mistake, then went to our room & nicely asked us to move to the correct room - is more professional. Other than that all staff were super helpful & supportive.

The check in process was smooth, there was plenty of parking available outside the building. The location is very convenient. The king size bed was extremely comfortable, room was very clean. The kitchen was also well equipped with everything we needed. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back. we highly recommend it to our friends.

Not the property’s fault but gee, Ballarat police, do something about the hoons with outrageously loud cars speeding and doing wheelies up and down the main road till late. AND it was only Monday.

Located a walking distance to the restaurants and pubs. Currently undergoing renovations, so the temporary carpark was further away from the building entrance.
