The secure parking was convenient, though the extra surcharge would be better included in the price. The apartment layout suited our family well, with a double room (kitchenette and ensuite) and a twin room, plus a main bathroom with laundry. The open-plan living area was well equipped, though bench space was limited. The balcony had nice views but felt cramped. The kids loved the pool, and the location—opposite a shopping centre with Coles, cafés, and more—was excellent. We would happily stay again.

When you're on the last flight, and it is a new place to stay the last thing I want to do is to try and remember the code to a night box. So for the reception to still be open was just lovely. My room was beautiful and I honestly was so happy with it all. There is nothing I didn't like.

The property is very well maintained, and the staff go out of their way to ensure you have a wonderful stay. I hired a conference room and was impressed with the size and set up. If you are in Mackay for any reason, look no further than the Quest on Gordon.
