- Rhiannon (9/5): - Overall, it was good. The shower pressure and temperature were amazing. Staff were really friendly. Full-size fridge, outside area with picnic table. Lots of complimentary snacks, a decent amount of mini milks for coffee, along with cutlery, plates, and glasses. Kettle is also available. Extra blankets, pillows in cuboard. Mulitiple good-sized towels. Easy access, parking, and lots of dining, activities with a great location. The bathroom wasn't clean. There was leftover cream in the corner of the floor. Tad outdated, but not horrible which doesn't affect the experience.

- Katie (6/5): Comfortable beds and facilities. Good location in town. Likely wouldn’t stay again due to sound /loud music from pub - Rooms are neat and tidy, convenient location. Be aware that the pub will have VERY loud music until late. We had checked that there were no big bands however the standard Saturday night DJ was LOUD.

- Phil (7/5): A pleasant stay - The Torquay Hotel/Motel is in a good location with restaurants and shopping close by. The hotel restaurant serves good food. It was ideal for work and I would stay again. A little bit tired - the bathrooms have been refurbished but the carpets and other furnishings could do with some work. The courtyards are open at the back so there could be a perceived privacy issue.
- Michael (5/5): Warning May be noisy - Moderate price After booking non refundable I got the following message from the hotel: If you who have not stayed with us before, please be aware that all our motel rooms back on to the Hotel it self. We do have live entertainment and DJ's playing in our beer garden on Friday & Saturday nights, along with most nights through peak times (Summer / Easter etc), for a list of events and entertainment schedule please refer to our website or social media.

- Cathreena (8/5): The motel served our needs very well. - Very close to the beach and the town plus our mode of transport for a wedding. The property is central so a bit loud late on a Saturday night, but easily overcome with earplugs. Used in most central locations.

- Courtney (7/5): - Walking distance to nice bakery, a couple of nice shops and beach. Short drive to supermarkets. Modern bathroom No plates or bowls, just fridge and jug and tea cups/ tea spoon for tea. Photos make it looks lighter and less dated than it is.

We were aware that there would be noise from the hotel but due to the warm night it was probably a bit louder but we did expect that. The room did smell of cigarette smoke not sure if this was because the outdoor door might have been open when guests might be smoking just outside doors. Outdoor ashtrays also needed emptying and a sweep of the veranda would have made the first appearance more appealing.
