There was a BBQ area on site which we used a couple of times and then ate on the deck. Very enjoyable! Would definitely stay at The Ridge again. Phil and Tenielle were very helpful and informative about the island. There was nothing we didn’t like about the property.

Great views of the rolling hills to the ocean from bedroom windows, living area and deck . Car and mobile phone included in price. Cottage very clean. Walkin bathrooms/shower appear new and well appointed with full size toiletries. Met at airport to collect car. Nothing to dislike.

From the moment I arrived, everything was effortless and welcoming. The peaceful, scenic location is just breathtaking—surrounded by nature, with stunning views that make it the perfect place to relax and unwind. It really felt like a hidden gem, ideal for anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle. The room itself was spacious, clean, and incredibly comfortable, with a warm, homely feel that made it so easy to settle in. Every detail had been thoughtfully considered, from the cozy furnishings to the little touches that made it feel like a true home away from home. The hosts were wonderful—friendly, approachable, and genuinely lovely to deal with. Being met at the airport with a smile, a warm welcome, and a hire car ready to go made the experience so smooth and stress-free. It was such a thoughtful touch that really set the tone for the entire stay. Overall, The Ridge offered everything I could have hoped for and more. It was peaceful, beautifully maintained, and run with such care. I’m already looking forward to my next visit, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone planning a trip to Norfolk Island.

Would highly recommend - Tenille and Phil have gone to a lot of trouble to think of what the holiday maker may need in their unit which is modern, comfortable and well thought out. Nothing to dislike. We found the bed to be a little soft for our liking but still comfortable and great linen.

• Col (10/5): Fabulous Stay at The Ridge - The two bedroom cottage was excellent. the cottage was very comfortable and clean and was well appointed with everything you would need for a week long stay. The ocean view from the deck was amazing. We had a very enjoyable trouble free stay and would definitely return to The Ridge should we be in Norfolk Island again. Not a thing!

Outlook with views of rolling countryside and the sea were what we were after, and needed, to completely relax and forget anything back home allowing us to just enjoy the peace and quiet, the clean air, birds out the back. Phil and Tenneille are to be commended for this property
• Duncan (10/5): Relax, settle in and enjoy. - The Ridge is a lovely, quiet, clean, relaxing location to chill and enjoy the wonderful view from the balcony. A huge bed with quality linens and a selection of pillows to please any fussy sleeper. The kitchen was great for self-catering and the bathroom was newly renovated for a little added luxury. The grounds are well maintained and an outdoor seating area and BBQ are available for use. Phil and Teneille are super hosts. Teneille met us at the airport, took us to our rental car agent and then walked us to our car. From the airport we followed Phil back to The Ridge, where we were escorted to our accommodation. You couldn't ask for more after a very long day of travel. The room came with internet and a mobile phone which allowed us to book local tours and meals out. We really enjoyed meals at the RSL Club and Rae's Kitchen at the League Club (both only about 4 mins drive from The Ridge). Also if you want Subway but BETTER try Juddway in Burnt Pine, awesome hot rolls. Best coffee go to Prinke Eco Store (opposite the Tourist Information Centre). The Ridge is a gem and the hosts friendly and helpful. We would highly recommend staying here. Nothing comes to mind!

A short drive to Burnt Pine township and airport and not much further to Kingston foreshore. The two-bedroom cottage was simple, stylish and functional, and the beds beautifully made and comfortable. Complete privacy and quiet. It was so nice to be there, we chose to dine in every night. Nothing comes to mind!

Perfect for our week stay on beautiful Norfolk. - Phil met us at the airport, waited for us to collect our car and directed us to the accommodation. He showed us around the property and explained all the details. The service was brilliant. Only a very minor thing - it would have been nice to see Phil again during our stay to check in on how we were doing and see if we needed anything, or just to check all was ok.

After a short drive, phil showed us around the property with some advice on where to eat etc. Bathrooms could do with modernising, they are still very clean and functional.

Great location and magnificent outlook; catching breeze, so always comfortable temperature without need of air-con or fans. Two bedroom cottage was beautifully appointed and had all amenities to self-cater and luxuries as well (eg coffee maker). We were provided with a local phone. Easy 5 min drive to Burnt Pine. Phil was extremely helpful and everyone so friendly and warm. Nothing. Everything beyond expectation.

There were three unexpected bonuses upon arrival: a phone to use on the Island; a reliable and free internet connection; and a litre of milk in the fridge. Phil & Teneille were wonderful hosts and very responsive. Highly recommend staying at The Ridge if you are lucky enough to visit beautiful Norfolk Island. Can't think of a single thing.

The hosts organised a hire car for us despite us not staying with them for the first night. They offer an eco approach being mindful of the limitations associated with island life.
