• Leanne (10/5): Best option in Ashburton - Bed was excellent comfort with quality linen. Complementary laundry was great. Kitchen was fully equipped for travellers. A little dated in furnishings, but doesn’t matter was super clean. Traffic noise but once closed doors couldn’t really hear it.

• Maureen (9/5): Great Value in Ashburton - Clean kitchen and bath, soft mattress, television, microwave, refrigerator and cooking stove, including dishes and silverware. The room was spacious and there was a small closet. The staff member who checked me in, Shalene, was excellent and helped me with my bag due to a back injury. She was very kind. Very nice, convenient hotel in Ashburton. The hotel is right on SH 1, which makes it convenient and easy to find, but the road is very noisy and the hotel rooms do not appear to have noise- canceling windows. But it is a good value.

• Alicia (10/5): Great place to stay! - Tarissa & Korver could not have done more for us if they tried. Our visit to Ashburton was originally booked for 1 week. Due to a family members illness we needed to extend 3 times, staying for 1 months in total. Tarissa moved things around to accommodate us staying on. All the staff are extremely friendly, contactable, rooms are clean & location is great. :-)

It was good having an a/c unit especially with the warm weather. We didn’t hear much traffic sound as the unit was soundproof. The hosts are friendly and welcoming.

The shower was freezing cold - it took a long time to warm slightly and when I got in went cold again. It was very cold weather at the time and the bathroom was very cold as well so it made for an unpleasant stay from that perspective. My colleague had no issues so possible just the room I was in.

The stairs might cause some difficulty for some people (our room was on the second floor), but the manager was so helpful that he helped carry all our luggages upstairs for us.
