- Terence (10/5): Come for the waterfalls, stay for the people. - From arrival to the excellent breakfast we delighted in the lovely features of the house and beautiful gardens. The host could not have been more welcoming. As four travellers exploring the Southern Highlands, our only regret was that we didn’t have more time in Bundanoon.
- Kiara (10/5): -
- Brian (10/5): Great location and the beautiful collection of antiques and furniture makes this a comfortable base to discover the wond - The location is ideal, the atmosphere in the guest house influenced by the furniture, furnishings, antiques etc is perfect. The owners are friendly and hard-working and the breakfast is a daily pleasure. We loved the lounge which resembled an English country house. Nothing.
- Suhrid (8/5): Great accommodation and would stay again - The location and the friendly staff. Really enjoyed the historical ambience of the place. I could have done without the breakfast, which was pretty ordinary.

Beautiful place, rooms were clean and tastefully decorated. Loved the venue and the warm staff, attentive and helpful Our room was on the side of the train line so it
Was a bit noise, but nothing too disruptive

- Stidwill (10/5): Relaxed Getaway - The atmosphere and relaxed vibe of the Guest House were terrific. Tim made us feel very welcome and informed. We loved the lounge rooms and bar and found it a special getaway.
- Anne (10/5): Amazing accommodation in this lovely area of the southern highlands - Such a comfortable and characterful guest house. It was well furnished with so many nice touches to encourage relaxation and mixing with other guests if one wanted to. Breakfast was perfect. Some cereal but also a little hot dish served in a delightful breakfast room. Lounge room provided tea, coffee and snacks throughout the day. The owners have thought of everything to create such a pleasant place to stay. There was nothing except that I would have liked to stay longer!
- Mamie (10/5): Home away from home. - We loved the homey vibe and old world charm. So many little touches which made the place special eg homemade baked goods, homemade jam at breakfast. Lucie and Tim were the optimal hosts - chatty, welcoming and full of great tips for the area.
- Susie (10/5): Fabulous - We loved the location and the beautiful accommodation. Lucy and Tim really know how to make the place feel like a home away from home. Such wonderful hosts determined to make your time spent with them very special. The place is beautifully decorated and our room so cosy and beds a dream. Delicious breakfasts. We spent our days exploring the surrounding towns with lots of tips from Lucy and Tim. Can’t wait to return.
- Therese (9/5): - It was such a lovely experience. The hosts are welcoming and thoughtful. Every attention to detail made our time there a wonderful stay. Rooms werecomfy, clean and well equipped. Common areas were spacy, entertaining, and varied. The little things like a refrigerator, fresh cake or cookies, a local restaurant guide with helpful recommendations, and a superb brekky were highlights. Tim and Lucy were so welcoming and exceptional hosts! There was nothing of note.
- Therese (10/5): -

- Chris (10/5): Outstanding guest house in pretty town - This guest house is a little gem. Nothing was too much trouble for the friendly owners Tim and Lucy. Gorgeous old house with period furnishings. The new ensuite showers were great too.
Breakfast is well presented and good quality Nothing really. The bit of railway noise might put some people off, but didn't affect our stay
- Yoko (10/5): Great place to stay. My friend and daughter loved it as well. We will be back! - The old charm was converted and decorated so sympathetically and the owner was so friendly. A little cold breakfast but still it was nice.
- Sheryle (9/5): Comfortable, chilled guest house in Bundanoon - We were upgraded to a King room which was very nice and comfortable. Near a quiet lounge area where we could sit, read and drink tea. Guest house is walking distance from centre of the village of Bundanoon. Very little. No hair-dryer in the room which was inconvenient. Perhaps more choices for breakfast would be nice but breakfast perfectly adequate.
- Melanie Stewart (10/5): -
- Anna (9/5): -

- Sandrine (10/5): An Enchanting Place—The Best Experience I've Had in a Long Time! - From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a warm, genuine welcome that felt heartfelt, not commercial. The hospitality was professional without being overbearing. Every detail has been carefully considered: the place is spotless, thoughtfully arranged, and beautifully blends heritage charm with modern comfort. It feels like stepping into a living antique shop—authentic, inviting, and full of character. With just the right number of guests, the atmosphere remains cosy and intimate, making you feel completely at home. This place is so inviting—with billiards, games, and books—you just want to stay in. It would be great if a simple dinner menu were available, especially on the first night, as only breakfast is served.
Also, arriving late to breakfast felt a bit rushed, with the vacuum cleaner waiting nearby. It was Easter, and I really just wanted to enjoy a slow, relaxed morning.
Lastly, as my new dietary needs (gluten- and dairy-free) are still recent, I initially only mentioned the dairy-free requirement on the first morning. On the second morning, the host, while extremely professional and attentive, inadvertently repeated my original order from the previous day quite loudly, which made me feel somewhat as though I were being chastised by a teacher for not having provided complete information. A more subtle and discreet, understanding approach would have been much appreciated as I felt awful on the moment.
- Karamdeep (10/5): Delightful and heart-warming - It was one of the finest bed and breakfast we stayed at. The host were both absolutely delightful and ever helpful. The breakfast was excellent, coffee/ tea facilities were great - rooms were clean and very presentable. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and already looking forward to our next booking. Nothing!
- Hyeonjeong (7/5): Good -
- James (8/5): Beautiful warm welcoming Guest House in Bundanoon - The Owners are exceptionally lovely people and make the Guest House what it is today they have done a phenomenal job of making it warm, welcoming, friendly and relaxing.
We liked the location easy to find and plenty of parking the flowers at the front and all around the property are beautiful one of the nicest gardens I have seen in years. Thank you. We cannot fault anything only small thing would be to check out at 11am as we had come from a Hotel where they allowed late check out at 1pm which allows for a more relaxed morning time. But the rules are the rules.
- Lynda (9/5): Very relaxing stay in beautiful guesthouse. - Lucie and Tim were excellent hosts and went out of their way to make sure our group was comfortable. The breakfasts were very satisfying and dinner was superb. It's a great place for a large group with a number of sitting rooms and a pool tabe and games room. Nothing
- Stephanie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Craig (9/5): Great fun with friends in a relaxed, comfortable and beautifully decorated guesthousr - Decor, presentation, gardens, ambience, food and atmosphere The weather was unfortunate but still ok
- Vyril (8/5): Very good -
- Michael (9/5): Would stay again! - Overall facilities of the Guesthouse are great, plenty of space to relax & not be right next to another guest. Breakfast, whilst continental, was exellent. Complimentary afternoon tea served in the guest lounge was appreciated. Gardens were lovely We had a Family Room, which was a last minute change, but there were areas in the room/ bathroom which were abit patchy. Vinyl flooring in one area didn't match the wooden floors.
- Kathleen (9/5): Superb -
- Mark (9/5): Superb - The setting was beautiful A bit too pricey
- Lachlan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Simon (9/5): Superb -
- Hermione (9/5): We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend stay at the Bundanoon Guest house and loved exploring the beautiful Bundanoon area. - We loved the history, styling and comfort of the guest house. The hosts, Lucie and Tim were so relaxed and welcoming. We really enjoyed all of the lovely details and the breakfast each morning which was served in the dining room.,It was a lovely two nights in Bundanoon. We would have loved some bedside lamps as we weren’t able to read our books with the wall lights. We also didn’t realise that there wasn’t daily housekeeping but it wasn’t a huge deal.
- Sally (9/5): Superb -
- Daniel (10/5): - Amazing place to stay
- Kellee (10/5): A true gem - This is a truly beautiful property.
So thoroughly impressed with every aspect of our stay from the room to breakfast .
The hosts went out of their way to make our stay memorable
- Samantha (10/5): Walk in history and enjoy the joys of Bundanoon Guesthouse - This was a fantastic stay in a wonderful historic guesthouse…we could not fault anything. The owners were super friendly, our room was just what we needed after travelling. Beautifully furnished and staged, very welcoming. Breakfast was prepared ready for a help yourself including fruits, cereals, juice and toast. We have booked again for Christmas in July, ready to enjoy the open fires and beautiful lounge area of the house. No negatives at all
- Emma (10/5): Beautiful and serene stay - The owners were so lovely and welcoming. The room was beautiful, private, clean and quiet. We absolutely loved our stay, and loved Bundanoon. Loved the aesthetic of the shared spaces too, and breakfast was delicious. n/a
- Patricia (10/5): It was enjoable - The friendliness of the owners and the Breakfast. Nil
- Tammi (10/5): Exceptional -
- Moira (10/5): Exceptional - The owners were lovely very much enjoyed
- Bernard (10/5): Exceptional -
- Cook (8/5): Very good -
- Adele (10/5): - We received a wonderful warm welcome on our return visit. Delicious cake for afternoon tea in the lounge/common room on Saturday afternoon.
The guesthouse is stylish, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The booking includes a free cooked breakfast. The parking is easy and convenient.
There are lots of great bush walks, beautiful birds and a National Park, close by.
- Olga (9/5): Friendly, warm and lovely staff and grounds - The feel, decor and cleaniness Just that little too far from the hot spots in the highlands
- Alex (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jeffrey (9/5): Superb - Breakfast was delicious and the Tim is a gracious host.
- Fiona (10/5): Step back in time and relax - The serenity! Set in beautiful gardens, the house, built 100 years ago this year, is big and tastefully decorated with plenty of sitting areas, all styled to match the era of the property. We basically had the place to ourselves, but a bigger group would have still found it roomy. Everywhere you look is a vision of yesteryear, and it transforms you into a bygone era of luxury and a slower pace. You have time to read a magazine or chat, sip tea, or play snooker, and take it all the charm this delightful guesthouse has to offer. The bedrooms are pretty, and from the front of the property, in the TV room, you sometimes hear the gentle clack of the passing train. Breakfast was perfect with homemade jam and stewed pears and delicious frittata, and our host, Tim, was delightful.
Bundanoon village is quaint but limited in amenities but we had the most enjoyable dinner at the local licenced Thai restaurant, which was a 10 minute walk away, and there were plenty of cafes to pick up a delicious cinnamon scroll for morning tea the next day before travelling home. Our only regret is that we didn't stay an extra day. We will be back.
- Laura (10/5): Exceptional - The loveliest stay and hosts. Beautiful property and breakfast.
- Michael (9/5): Superb - The decor was fab. Exactly what we were after, a traditional guest house. Tim was a very good host. Na
- Daniel (9/5): Superb - Charming
- Julie (10/5): A gem and comfortable place to stay with yummy breakfast! - The personal touch to welcome the guests, the personalised service at breakfast, the tastful and detailed decor of the whole place to create a warm and elegant ambience, it reminds one of the time of Raffles hotel in Singapore. Breakfast was personally served by David, who was the chef and housekeeper, keeping the whole guesthouse (a heritage building) clean! Tim, the owner was just as welcoming, showing us the property and gardens.
If you like a clean, quiet, and homely place, look no further. Even the garden grounds are very tastefully done up. There's also a cottage for families and the king bedroom, which are very tastefully decorated by Lucy, Tim's wife, who has a keen eye for details! It would be useful to have a sheltered car porch for luggage drop off on rainy days and a slope for overseas visitors with bigger luggage to roll on instead of the steps. (I'm not sure if there was a slope for handicapped wheelchair.)
- Zhiyi (7/5): Good -
