Deborah (6/5): - The first thing you see when you enter the room is a very dirty sofa. The towels were grey rather than the white they once were and the dirt in the lint filter in the washing machine was so hard it had to be soaked in hot water for an hour to clean it.

Sarah (10/5): Excellent place to stay - This was a great place to stay for a busy business trip I was doing. Had dinner across the road at the pub. Right off the main road, so very convenient. (Hospital and Cinema also across the road) The room was like an apartment. Sofa and big island bench in the kitchen. Washer and dryer, and a seperate bedroom. Foxtel was a nice touch. Highly recommended this place. Clean and tidy.

Bruce (10/5): Comfortable well equipped unit - The self-contained unit was very well equipped and very comfortable. Location was good (close to supermarket and eateries) and staff were friendly and helpful. Parking is undercover at each unit, which was a plus. Overall, everything was of a high standard and we would definitely stay there again if passing through Emerald.

Loren (4/5): Miscommunication - I booked a family room for myself, partner, brother and father for a Sunday. I realized on the weekend of that we were all traveling ahead of schedule and called the apartments about changing the booking to a day earlier and possible using the money for the family room I had already paid for to which they said no. That was fine I then asked if we can just stay there with them anyway and for go the money I had already paid and was not getting back to which they said yes. I paid another $115 per room (I needed 2) for 2 people to stay in each and we did. When we got there they gave us our room keys and I let my dad and brother stay in the room with a queen and single bed. The next day after checking out not only had I already paid them $145 that I was not getting back they called me asking why the second bed was slept in and they would have to charge me extra for the use of that bed. I told them that I booked the room for 2 people and I put hope that the bed would be changed regardless as we could of sat on the bed and as a nurse that would be an infection risk if they didn't to which they left the situation as is.
Donna (10/5): Very happy, perfect for my 4 night stay! - Very happy, this was perfect. Staying solo for 4 nights I was looking for more than just a small, one room Hotel style accommodation. This was in the design of 3 separate rooms. A large modern self contained kitchen with everything one should need for a short stay. Leading to a good size lounge area with sofa . Adjacent to this is also an outdoor deck with seating for two. The seperate bedroom is compact but comfortable, a little tight at the end where the full sized sliding door wardrobe is, but very manageable. Spacious bathroom with large spa bath, & tucked behind the door is full laundry facilities. Both the bedroom and lounge/kitchen is air-conditioned. Tim the caretaker is a delight to deal with.
ryan (10/5): greta place to stay, cant recommend it enough. - Emerald motel apartments, was a great place to stay, we stayed here during an off weekend from work and really enjoyed our time. The apartments are well set up with full size kitchen and great size bathroom including spa bath. Close to everything and with great owners. I will be staying again and recommend everyone else, when in Emerald stay here.

The rooms are separate units so no chance of hearing noise from next door. They have full kitchen and great living area with Foxtel tv. The bedroom has queen bed and its own air conditioner. This place is perfect long stays as well as overnight.
Carole (8/5): Good for a night or 2 - Stayed 2 nights. Accommodation ok, apart from the settee which had lost some of its springs or something. Apart from that good accommodation. there was a bowling club across the road and other places for takeaway . Easy walk to the shops.

David (10/5): Stop-over - This was a night stop-over after a long drive from Airlie Beach. The welcome was good and the accommodation clean, very comfortable and far roomier than a motel room. Bedroom a little cramped but a great bed, first time that I've slept-in in years!

Robert (10/5): Great place - Excellent value for money, including a kitchen. Designed for disabled access, the bathroom is as large as the bedroom. Hence space is very tight around the bed, whilst there is tons of space in the bathroom. So put suitcases in living area. Great to have a covered car space, but found I had to take care in driving in and out as the side and rear clearances were just adequate - not sure how a larger car or SUV etc would go. Despite all that we'd go there again.

Verified traveler (10/5): Lovely owners, lovely apartments, best value - The service at Emerald Motel Apartments is wonderful, the rooms are really beautifully presented with small touches that you wouldn't normally find, such as scent diffusers (nice ones!) and the best equipped kitchen I have ever seen in a motel or hotel! The parking is undercover and the motel itself was quiet and peaceful. I had a room backing on to the pizza place, so it was a little noisy until they closed. But overall, I would definitely stay here again and it was a much appreciated slice of comfort following several days on the road staying in circa-1982 motel rooms. It was also outstanding value and had the best pillows on the route from Melbourne to Townsville!
tim (10/5): Tim's trip.... - very handy to the city....nearby eateries were yummy and cost effective...comfortable....clean...friendly....self contained unit great for cooking your own munchies ( but why would you with take aways available, if you were having an extended stay yes , everything is there where you need it for putting together you own Jamie Oliver dish....all you need is the produce , and that is available from Woolies , 200 meters down the road....what more can I say ???

Chris (10/5): Very nice individual villa style apartments - Arrived and was greeted by owners, unit had all necessary items for a very comfortable stay, fridge is fully stacked if you don't feel like going out, close to supermarkets and food outlets if you want to eat out. Unit had a fully equipped kitchen and a big fridge, was well air conditioned for the hot day we were there and also had a spa bath for soaking tired bodies. All in all a excellent value for money, would have liked to stay longer.

Happy (10/5): A place to put your feet up! - This small little place is bursting with a big personality. Even before you arrive a nice e-mail asking if there was anything they could do to make our stay more comfortable! Amazing! A chance to unwind and relax without having to venture to far. About a 5 min walk from the main street and a 2 min walk to the Woolworths behind makes popping out a breeze and a fantastic way to make use of the full kitchen on hand even has an oven (thank-god finally a place with an oven) A beautiful small seating area to sit and drink and ice cold beverage or enjoy an afternoon platter. A large bathroom/living/bedroom areas made for the 2 of us to have our own space. It was hard to leave such a relaxing place. I will be back there is no doubt about it just a matter of when I can get there!!
