Room was warm, beds were comfortable and importantly the shower had good pressure with hot water. The check in staff were friendly helpful an courteous. This motel will be the first to return to when visiting Armidale again. Highly recommend.

- Verified traveler (10/5): Warm in Winter - Pleasantly furnished and decorated, comfortable beds, breakfast table and chairs and very efficient air-conditioning which delighted us on a frosty July night. Our room, with ensuite bathroom, and had all the inclusions expected of an Australian motel, including plates and cutlery as well as a good wifi signal. The room was very quiet; we were not aware of any noise from the adjacent highway. The motel does not have a dining room but there are fast food outlets across the road. We chose to eat dinner at the White Bull hotel a few blocks away. If it’s a frosty night, like our visit in late July, I do suggest checking working of air-conditioning and electric blankets as soon as you check-in. The air-con was so efficient we did not need the electric blankets.
- Michael (8/5): - The 2 bedroom apartment was relatively spacious and has been refurbished at some point not too long ago. However the cleanliness of particularly the rugs and carpets left something to be desired. Some of the fixtures, especially the bathroom were broken or in a state of disrepair. Overall though, it was comfortable and suited pur family well for the night we stayed.

The room is clean and inviting upon opening the door. The shower is amazing. Love the options with shower heads! Close to town with food options across the road or a short walk away. - Verified traveler (10/5): Perfect home away from home. Close to everything! - This was a scheduled overnight stop with 3 children. I booked an apartment for our stay. My kids would love to be able to give this place a 6-star rating! 😂 The reception and housekeeping service were both excellent. Friendly but relaxed. Our apartment was very well appointed and we all had a wonderful sleep. Comfy beds and bed linen, etc. The shower was enjoyed especially. Everyone came out saying, "We need a shower head like that at home!" Great water pressure with a large rain shower head. Keep up the great work, Team!

I paid for a Queen room but was put in Room 1 which is an older style room with only a double bed. I would not have booked at Estelle Kramer had I known I would have been given an unrenovated room. Even the towel rail was missing from the bathroom

The exhaust fan in the shower didn't work and there was no sink plug. The light fitting was just hanging on three sides, the carpet stained and the ensuite door and wardrobe door off the rails and not sliding. ( my husband got them working.) There was coffee powder stain on the carpet, a empty drink bottle under the bedside cabinet and wrapper under the counter with no plastic bag in the bin.

- Ruth (2/5): Awful - avoid - AWFUL. Upon entering the room, we were “greeted” with a huge bag full of rubbish and a few glass bottles behind the door. Upon entering the bathroom, we were “greeted” with multiple hairs in multiple locations from previous occupants. There were human hairs on the floor around the toilet and under the vanity, and on the shower wall. Upon inspection of the bedding, we were “greeted” with dog hairs on the pillow cases. We invited the manager to inspect our room and she did. Manager told us the owner has a dog and they were definitely dog hairs on the pillow cases. She offered to vacuum the bathroom floor but nothing was offered re dog hairs. At 10:30pm, the loud talking and swearing (from a drunk person and others staying next door) began directly outside our room. This loud noise, including dragging our outdoor furniture around, continued for hours. We felt very uncomfortable. Our phone call to reception went to message bank. Manager apologised to us in the morning for the noise. Would never stay here again. Also, if you don’t like smelling neighbours’ cigarette smoke, then stay somewhere else.

The main bed was a bit tired but the pillows, sheets, blankets were lovely. however, I would happily stay there again as it was located very close to the centre of town and good value.
