• Pragya (1/5): Worst experience , worst cabins - Nothing Worst accommodation in my life, insects flies everywhere bathroom lights were not working through our trip. Outdoor light was also not working. Dirtiest place ever I visited. Bad experience never book these cabins .

• Bridget (5/5): - Good location to town and loved all the kangaroos on property. The sofa in the cabin was disgusting!! Old, dirty, torn at the seams…I didn’t want to set my bag on it let alone sit on it. Bed was very uncomfortable, like sleeping on a piece of plywood. Never received instructions on which cabin was ours but thankfully, someone answered when I called to give me instructions. About an hour after arriving, messaged the property via the Booking.com app to inquire as to how to turn the porch light on and never received a response - ever. We were there 2 nights so we sat in the dark.

I canguri timidamente si avvicinano e c’è la possibilità di un incontro ravvicinato. Sono stati dei momenti indimenticabili. Per il resto la struttura è semplice con tutto il necessario. Wi-Fi veloce. La pulizia è migliorabile. La posizione nella campagna richiede una certa attenzione per evitare che gli insetti entrino nella struttura.

• Briannanunnerley94 (5/5): Very disappointing. - The view and wildlife around the cabin was amazing. The location was great because it was close to town but also secluded and quiet. Communication with them was great initially. The bed felt like it dipped down at the head end, we had mice and the owners/managers only offered an apology I had to request mice traps 4 days into a 5 day trip to take care of the problem ourselves after no sleep on our honeymoon no compensation was even offered. There was a fairly thick layer of dust throughout the cabin and mice droppings. There wasn’t even a spatula to use for cooking yet they had the nerve to leave a note saying a cleaning fee would be applicable if the cabin (kitchen) wasn’t left clean.

• Amy (1/5): Waste of money - The location is convenient and the Roos that visit So we stayed in cabin 1. First of all was not told it was self check in so drove around trying to find reception before we then rang the number to be told we sent you a message which they hadn’t. Walked into cabin and it had an awful smell. Turns out it was left over curry takeaway in the bin than hadn’t been emptied. We struggled to get rid of the smell we had to buy cleaning supplies. Emailed owner to let them know and we’re brushed off with “it’s hard to get good cleaners”. Bathroom didn’t drain properly so during the night had to walk on wet water to use the toilet. Only left one spare toilet paper for four night stay. Main bed mattress was awful and so stinky going to cost a bit in physio. Wouldn’t stay here again.

WiFi works proper and they have a washing machine you can use for free! We would have loved more utensils and proper wine glasses. Besides that it was all great!
• Lodovica (10/5): Immerso nella natura! Bello - Soggiornare nella cabin, con i canguri che ti fanno visita proprio sulla porta, è stata una bellissima esperienza! La posizione è ottima: immersa nella natura e a 5 min di auto dal centro di Kingscote, dove ci sono supermercato benzina e ristoranti. La cabin è arredata in modo essenziale, con stoviglie e pentole giusto per 2 persone, ma c’è tutto. Eravamo nella cabin per 2 persone, era in buono stato e il bagno è grande. C’è anche la lavatrice e i fili all’esterno per stendere. Il check in è “in autonomia”, nel senso che ricevi le istruzioni via Booking, ma i gestori sono gentili e disponibili se ne hai bisogno.

Basic clean cabins in quiet location surrounded by wildlife - We loved: that the cabins were spaced far apart for privacy; how lots of kangaroos and wallabies would graze within the cabin park each night and the many and varied bird-life; the quietness of the place during the day and at night; spacious but basic cabin; no road noise and nice and dark at night; and only 5 kilometres from town. Shower rose was stuck in one place and shower curtain would wrap around my legs.

• Richard (8/5): Plenty of good aspects despite the negatives listed so we’d stiil be happy to stay again. - Good design of cabin. Good location. Wallabies came to meet us at dusk. Think this may be a cabin (no 3) due for a little refurbishment. ( I think some of the others might already have been done. ) . Seriously rusted shower curtain rail, mattress past its best, double burner/ oven pretty ancient and rusted. Newer double ring also providedso old kit might as well be ditched. Units showing typical old age wear ( lifting laminate). No tea towel.
• michelle (5/5): i feel a couple of small reno / fix ups would make this a much more enjoyable experience. - good location . very basic accomodation but for the price great for a quick night or two passing thru. has everything you need. dirty towels and a wet face washer hanging over shower from last person... cleaner must have been asleep. pretty bad to think the shower had not been cleaned at all or they would have seen the dirty towels also please fix your oven.... after arriving back at the cabin at 8 pm at night hungry.. we bought two pizzas to put in oven hahhah... had been in there for 50 minutes and still wasnt cooked. i feel a couple of small reno / fix ups would make this a much more enjoyable experience. i know its budget accomodation but one would expect things to work and be clean
• Deborah (9/5): - Lovely spot in the bush. Had everything that you need. Would like to have stayed longer and seen more of the island. Enjoyed seeing the kangaroo family. Very large shower head for a very small shower. Couldn't shower without getting my hair soaked.

The drain in the floor in the bathroom was rotted and the oven door was also rusted
