The room was pretty much sound proof however could hear the room next door opening and shutting there door, they are heavy door ms which make significant noise . The doors are so close to each other. Apart from that it was great.
• Mary (9/5): Great location nice and quiet for city stay - Location due to medical procedure , it was nice and quiet and rooms well setup There is an electric frypan but no cook top nice and close to food outlets and late night chemist There is no out door view at all we stayed in the apartment Could not get code to work on arrival to access keys. No one answered the reception phone I called all 5 numbers, one response is a message saying leave a message ! Not helpful we did get in with in about 20 mins though just a bit frustrating when you don’t feel well. No out door out look at all
• Graham (9/5): Special and relaxing. - Location, beautifully furnished and very comfortable. Sadly we had requested a downstairs and assured room due to our luggage. However the room upstairs was amazing. Good exercise unloading the car including golf clubs to carry upstairs.

My room was spacious, well presented and comfortable. All the usual facilities were available. I also found the room to be quiet from external sounds which added to a relaxing stay. Apart from initial access there was nothing else not to like.

It's a fantastic location with easy walk to the main centre. The unit had a connecting door to the next door unit and there was no soundproofing. We could clearly hear the conversations of the people in the adjoining accommodation especially when talking in the bathrooms cause of the echo. Had no idea where to leave the key as there was no instruction or key drop area so left it in the room and texted - would have liked to know as makes leaving smoother.

Neighbouring TV (unit 11B) and conversations could be heard loudly through the bedroom wall of unit 11, where the head of the single bed is positioned. Dining chairs are too low for the dining table - uncomfortable for regular height adults but impossible for kids. Could do with scissors or kitchen shears in the kitchen, and tissues somewhere in the apartment.

• Lynne (8/5): Very comfortable stay in elegant historic building. - Elegant historical building sympathetically renovated. Spacious room,comfortable bed and good bench kitchen with fridge,2 rings,oven and microwave. Location walking distance to town. Modern bathroom. Room serviced each day. Comfy arm chairs saved us free m having to sit on the bed. 3night stay. Limited parking but we were fortunate and got a space. Some of the furniture looked a bit tired. Didn’t hear other guests but the local hoons made their presence felt racing on Saturday night.

Our room was beautiful and very spacious/ comfortable. The bathroom was also very spacious and comfortable. The lack of human contact was uncomfortable. Checking in process could have been better as well as the processing of accounts. An effort was made to ensure we were ok.

It was clean and up to standards My partner ended up in hospital after slicing his foot open in your bathroom on the tiles We are not sure how this occurred but after stepping out of the bath, his foot would not stop bleeding and warranted a hospital visit Hoping that bathroom cleanliness is well kept as this may have a bad outcome for the healing of his injury We didn’t get to even spend much time in the actual hotel as we were only here for one night and spent a lot of the night at the hospital Very disappointed and it was a waste of money

Excellent location close to all of the main Ballarat central town features Key return was a bit confusing as initially thought it would be returned to the lock box but needed to be placed in a container on the unattended reception desk
• Lucia (9/5): Lovely room! - Lovely room! Superrrrrrr comfy bed, roomy bathroom counters, well equipped kitchen, strong functioning aircon - just overall a well thought out apartment room! Great natural lighting through the windows and very quiet, you really don't hear any noise from the street. A bit of fridge noise can be heard but I know that sort of thing doesn't bother everyone. I sleep with earplugs because I'm sensitive so it might be more of a personal issue. The main negative is that for the price of the room, I wish the bathroom products/amenities were of better brand and quality. Just a minor thing.

• Becs (8/5): Will definitely be back, really enjoyed the room - The room was gorgeous and the beds extremely comfortable (I usually find hotel beds too firm but this bed was soft and comfortable). The fireplace made the room a nice temperature and the kitchen had all the facilities you would need. The wifi was pretty choppy, couldn't always play netflix etc, and the showerhead wasn't very good.

• Changwei (3/5): - Security door The owner horribly charged 1.6% card fee on top of the agreed price through Booking. People don't care too much about the fee, as long as it's transparant, however, the card payment fee was only informed 2 days before the payment was made through an email, which wasn't part of the original fee on booking.
• Karen (9/5): perfect place to stay for where we needed to go - large spacious room and comfortable beds. Loved the fireplace

• Marina (9/5): Beautiful and historical rooms with comfort and space - Lovely historical building and rooms are lovely and spacious. Excellent fire place (gas logs) and comfy bed! Parking is easy and check-in also very convenient.

• David (9/5): Great location and ambiance. - We liked the style, quiet, clean and great location. Internet was slow for Kayo, but not critical as had little time to watch sport.

• Jenny (8/5): Great Location with easy to follow communication. - Nicely furnished ,comfy bed, great location we could easily walk to dinner and town center. The couch was quite uncomfortable; look good however seating cushions need to be replaced. I had to sit on a pillow.

One room had no windows but did have a skylight There are steps in the hallway of the apartment that a a massive trip issue. The need tiny lights for overnight. One bruised knee and a broken toe later.

• Patrick (9/5): Nice comfortable room for shorter stay - Property was tastefully renovated and clean While the room was spacious and clean, you could hear people walking above our room. Bathrooms could do with some towel rails and/or hooks as there was nowhere to put your wet towels. The bathroom was spacious but there was no vanity to put toiletries etc
