It was a very large room, immaculately clean, the location was perfect and despite being attached to the pub, it was whisper quiet. Pub prices were very high and meals lacked expected quality.

The location was great, and a safe walking location in my experience. We held a two day meeting in The Pavilion. • Donna (9/5): We will be back. - Always stay here when we stay in Mackay and it never disappoints. Great rooms, close to the pub for meals but never noisy. A bit smelly when we first walk in the room but it was only the cleaning products smell so at least we knew the room was clean.

Pour ceux qui sont de passage : machine à laver et sèche linge disponibles dans la chambre avec sachet de lessive. Cuisine très bien équipée. Ils devraient en faire la pub ! Le restaurant à côté ouvert tard pour l’Australie. Bon rapport qualité prix. Parking sous les chambres. La version petit déjeuner pour 1 personne dans le frigo avec 2 tranches de pain de mie dans un sachet plastique (qui avaient commencé à sécher) et autre yahourt et jus d’orange. La 2eme personne sur demande pour 12.5$. Autant ne rien proposer, il y a suffisamment d’options autour. Wifi non disponible (en travaux)

• David (8/5): Have been coming here for 10 years for work and hoping many many more years. Please fix wifi. - The staff are excellent! I have stayed here for possibly a decade and always found the staff and restaurant meals excellent. The location is excellent. The rooms are generously sized. There is bread and jam and juice and milk in the fridge for a quick self made breakfast. Showers are nice and hot! They did kindly call me to flag their wifi was down due to renovations, and they've been having issues with it in the rooms for more than a year, really hoping this time they finally solve it as my reporting work is online. They replaced the airconditioners with non-reverse cycle ones that can't do heat. I realise most of the year Mackay is mostly very warm, but in winter when Mackay finally gets cold its really not built for the cold. You're trying to sit there typing your reports up and there's no heat from the aircon and no oil-heaters available so your fingers freeze regardless of how many blankets are available for the bed.
