- Paulene (5/5): I have stayed before & was disappointed to find it was no longer up to standard - Location is excellent The bathroom needs a good scrub
- Bryan (8/5): Ideal positon for a short stay. - It was tidy and clean. generous with the tea bags. The lady at the reception was courteous and helpful. Perfectly positioned to walk the main street. There was no microwave in the room. However, the lady (Joy) was most helpful allowing us to use the one in the main kitchen along with providing cutlery and plates.

- judyrB9795BQ (10/5): Fantastic experience - Every person l dealt with was extremely helpful, cheery and friendly. I appreciated they were able to accommodate myself and my elderly mother for 1 night over a busy weekend period. Furthmore we were given the option of a more suitable room when one became available.
The room was spacious, clean and comfortable.

- Deborah (10/5): - We totally enjoyed our long weekend in Daylsford. Fabulous accomm food & attractions. Everything

- Henk (7/5): - De plek midden in Daylesford met een grote parkeerplek Onze kamer en de beschrijving op booking.com correspondeerde niet met elkaar.
- Suzanne (5/5): Tired old basic country motel, with no service - The location was good for access to shops and the Convent gallery, but my rooms were right on the main road with trucks passing close to my window. Luckily the traffic in Daylesford is not heavy but the noise from traffic and also the tv in the next room were intrusive. The room was very tired, having been renovated decades ago with very cheap fittings, very basic small bathroom. Half the rooms are upstairs, accessed only by two flights of external wooden stairs, very slippery when wet, as it rains and drizzles a lot in Daylesford. When I checked in for 3 nights (booked months previously) on the Friday at 3.30pm the reception was closed for the rest of the day and they left a key to several rooms for guests to check themselves in. I was very unhappy with my room that was old, up 2 flights of exterior wooden stairs, very cold and small cold bathroom. The heater did not warm the room much and the room smelt of smoke from the open fireplace I did not use. When reception opened the next morning I asked to change rooms as I didn’t sleep much due to cold and smoky smell that made me cough all night and hard bed. They said I had only booked for 2 nights but I kept telling them I had booked and paid for 3 nights. I had to go back a couple of hours later and they finally agreed I had booked for 3 nights and let me move to a tiny room right by the busy road but at least it was warm with a slightly larger bathroom but with small old prefabricated creaky fibreglass shower. Certainly not 4 star as advertised, barely 3 star.
- Peter (5/5): - The room was clean and had the necessary facilities. Bed was very comfortable. Location was central and in easy reach of cafes and shops. The presentation and decor was dated and dowdy. we were allocated a room which was too small and abutting an external footpath; however the staff allocated us another room on request. The overall ambience of the hotel exterior and interior was dated and a bit shabby

- Glenda (8/5): -
- Matthew (5/5): - Location When we arrived for check in our booking couldn't be found and accommodation was full. Our booking appeared to have been cancelled by accident. Luckily the staff were able to provide us with a space to stay which was sufficient but missing some amenities such as fridge and tv. We were surprised that we were charged the full price given the above and that our check in time was delayed.
- Rigden (6/5): Pleasant but not wonderful. - Location was excellent, staff very welcoming. TV didn’t work properly. Room was dated though some improvements had been made. Small things like plates and cutlery etc were not there. Cleaning needs to be better very dusty behind bedside tables etc.
- stephen (10/5): We will be back - Great location friendly staff clean
- Debra (10/5): Loved the personality of the buulding and staff - Hosts were wonderful and caring, without being in our face.
- miriams792 (10/5): A great stay - The staff were very welcoming and accomodating

Bed was very comfortable
We were a big group and they generously allowed us to use the breakfast room for a meet up.

- kensE2728FE (10/5): Lovely stay in central Daylesford. - Excellent stay. The hotel is in central Daylesford, close to restaurants. Our room was modern, not large, but it had everything we needed, and it was quiet. Parking was good. The hotel also has some period antique features.
- Kenneth (9/5): Lovely stay in central Daylesford, Vic. - Great location in central Daylesford. Room very modern and comfortable. TV channel selection was good. Period features in anteroom of hotel. Parking was good. Ground floor, and in easy reach of restaurants. Compact, but sufficient for us.
- Lisa (9/5): I will be staying here again. - The room was very comfortable and staff went above and beyond to assist and make my stay that little bit better.
- Mark (9/5): Nice - Quiet area close to town.
- Druzel (9/5): -
- 257daveo (8/5): Worldly Charm - Location was great, walking distance from everywhere and the ladies in reception were very helpful in providing tips on places to go. The room was nice although the door didn’t fully seal so there was a wee draught however this was compensated by the heatpump located in our room. Overall very clean and tidy would definitely recommend this place to stay in.
- Dave (8/5): Nice and comfortable - Location was good Door didn’t quite fully seal so it was a bit draughty, also had a few cobwebs but nothing overly noticeable
- Sara (9/5): -
- saradN222CW (10/5): A very comfortable stay. - The motel is in a great location within walking distance to cafes, pubs, restaurants and a 10 minute walk to the market and heritage train. The lady at reception was very helpful & attentive. Our room was a Fireplace room on the ground floor which was fantastic- nice and roomy.

Excellent service. Roland you made us feel very welcome. You’re one of the best. Thankyou we will definitely be back again. Loved everything that was to offer. Cooked breakfast was absolutely delicious and plenty to choose from. Thankyou Roland
- maree (7/5): good. great location. would recommend. - clean room, quiet except sounds of fridge or toilet.
- sylvia (7/5): Good place to stay. - Really friendly and helpful staff. We were needed an extra night as we left the Grampians early because of the bush fires. The owner was really helpful in giving us advice and accommodating us for the extra night
Really convenient position.
Comfortable place to stay. It was fine, but would benefit from an update.
- Anne (6/5): Wouldn’t choose to stay here again. - I’m neutral on this. The pictures on line made the place look much nicer. At night quite a bit of thumping noises from other rooms on upper level.
- ALAN (9/5): A great stay overall with exceptional staff service. - Loved the hot breakfast and the location was fantastic. The King Room didn't have a separate shower.
- Laino (10/5): Comfortable, cost, central and value for money. - Comfortable, clean and friendly staff. Central to everything! NA
- ANNE (8/5): - Nice people & clean
- Kaye (5/5): I would prefer to stay somewhere else - The location I was very concerned about having room 5. It is right on the road corner and I was worried not only about traffic noise but also a vehicle could ram into my room!!!!
I left a note re cleanliness….. behind the bathroom closed door inside, a drink (?) had sprayed everywhere.
Carpet along skirting boards not clean.
TINY shower!!!!!!!
- Marshall (9/5): I would recommend central springs inn for a pleasant stay - bbq, daily cleaning, friendly staff, handy location the weather, no kitchen, no dining table
- Maxine F (10/5): King suite was great but trip soured somewhat hitting a Kangaroo on Day two. - Our room was upstairs. Our room had a King sized bed and a single bed. The spa bath with an overhead shower was fantastic. Towels and cloths were replace daily. Room was cosy and had plenty of space. Facilities included in the room were appreciated, like tea coffee sugar milk soaps shampoo conditioner. Other items in room included fridge, ironing board & iron, hairdryer, microwave, kettle. Extra blankets and pillows also available. Plenty of hanging space for clothing / coats. Would've like to "stay longer" as hosts were most friendly.
- Ash (6/5): -
- Michael (7/5): Great location and price but probably not somewhere we would spend another honeymoon - Location was great but we didn’t feel comfortable staying there. As above
- LYNNE (8/5): -
- Gabrielle (5/5): -
- Anthony (10/5): -
- rebeccamV9188KE (10/5): Wonderful place to stay - Such a wonderful little place to stay. Staff that I interacted with were amazingly friendly and helpful (including noticing my request for a ground floor room hadn't been done and changing it for me at no extra charge before I even knew). Gorgeous courtyard areas with seating, rooms were nice and clean, bed was super comfortable, shower was great and noise was minimal, even near a main road.
Would absolutely stay here again next time I visit. I only wish there had been a microwave and knives and forks in the room, but that is only a small issue, especially with all the local places to eat nearby if you can go out.
- Dot (9/5): - Great location, exceptional staff, good space for a family. Was a very hot day/night and the loft was pretty warm. A floor fan would have been appreciated.
- Majella (6/5): -
- Andrew (10/5): -
- Vivienne (10/5): - Wonderful stay. Friendly staff and great location - close to the Main Street but a couple of streets back, so nice and quiet.
- vickie964 (8/5): Very accomodating - Had stayed before and loved it, decided to stay again as the location is great. This time I booked direct and being short notice wasn’t a lot of rooms available, took a basic queen room….the room was in the old trust building, was extremely small and felt musky, claustrophobic, next day at breakfast, which was very accommodating by the way as I have lots of allergies and intolerances and the lady was wonderful towards these.
I asked if I could be upgraded to another room and pay the difference in price, this was not a issue at all, the king room was lovely, so spacious, bright, extremely clean and very comfortable, very very appreciative, this will be the room i book in the future by phone as I think there is always more choice speaking to them directly. Thank you for an enjoyable stay in the end.
- Gary (8/5): Delightful old hotel close to Main Street. - Comfortable, close to main street, very nice staff, plenty of parking. Floor was uneven in spots. ( It was a very old building.) A usable bbq area would be appreciated.
- Trudi (9/5): - I love this place. A touch of old world charm.
- Wander61140380325 (10/5): New Year’s Eve getaway - Location is great, walking distance to town center and a very quiet place. We had a good comfortable bed and spacious room. We definitely come back again . Highly recommended.
- Glenn (9/5): Our stay at Central Springs was perfect, friendly staff, great room and exceptional location - Great room, exceptional location
- Wendy (9/5): -
- 946vivienneb (10/5): Great stay - Easy to find, friendly staff, hot shower, and the room had everything I needed. Located within walking distance to the main street, but a couple of streets back so it was nice and quiet.
- Adrija (10/5): - The room, facilities, location was exceptional. Staff is knowledgeable about what Daylesford has to offer and very kind and helpful. 10/10 recommend
- Alan (7/5): -
- M9174RFbrucem (10/5): A peaceful stayover Christmas in a character building for our visit to lovely Dayelsford. - Lovely old character building in a convenient location. Clean facilities and heater as needed. Quiet tho' near a main road. Good service as we were kindly moved down to a gound floor room just before arriving, as the quite steep stairs would have been a challenge and appreciated this.
- Tamara (10/5): Friendly staff, great location! - The gorgeous staff! This is the third time we have stayed and it’s always lovely There wasn’t anything not to like it was wonderful
- Denis (7/5): Adequate but proximity to the Town Centre us a definite plus and the RSl is pretty much next door - Needs some renovations to raise the standard $22 for a bucket load of wood (first bucket is free)
- budget nomad (9/5): A lovely place to stay over the Christmas period in a character building built in 1865. - Heritage room very spacious and clean with v comfy bed. Quiet. easy parking and quiet heater if needed with electric blankets as chilly surprisingly. Good bathroom. Helpful to be given a room downstairs just that last week before as the stairs would have been Very challenging for us. Many thanks.. All good and nothing to dislike. Should have realised with tea- making facilities there would be no cutlery or plates.
- michelle (10/5): A lovely restful stay!! - Beautiful central spot and such lovely hostess who was very happy to change rooms. Just a lovely spot to relax !!
