• jamescD205JN (6/5): A step back in time. - This place is comfortable, very clean, spacious, and every thing works. It’s close to restaurants, shops, the park and the waterfront. Great and easy parking. The checking in experience was great with a very friendly welcome. The decor is out of date though, certainly can do with an update. The experience is like stepping back into the 70’s. So as long as you’re not looking for something modern, like us you will love it, took me back to my childhood years😊

Great and easy guest parking. A st This place is like stepping back in time, decor hadn’t been changed since the 70’s and needs a serious upgrade. Having said that, it’s still comfortable and would certainly stay there again.

Didn’t love lugging bags up 2 flights of stairs and that the whole place was very old. This was reflected in the price I guess. We beeked it as it said resort - was really a motel.

The room was comfortable and clean and staff were friendly and accommodating. The front counter staff was welcoming and friendly and with plenty of knowledge about local attractions. The room service ladies were very lovely and offered clean towels and anything else we needed. Not a biggy but The toilets were noisy and the neighbours toilet or shower pipes were noisy

I would not recommended for romantic get away. Room was average , double bed and single bed plus it was average clean. did not see much of the staff. we liked it because close to the beach and the city. we use to leave early morning and come back in the evening. the surrounding could improve , such as the front of the resort all mud and lucky to find car park on the premises as they are not marked. overall nice for few night

The lack of glasses - all mismatched, no nice ones. Tiny handtowel for 3 night stay, very old tea towel - glad I brought my own. Bathmat - so old and tatty. It would have been nice to have clean towels but I guess we had to throw them on the floor or something.

Had an issue with the TV which was promptly rectified. Its a little old but still met our needs. The bathroom is very outdated but still provided a nice hot shower.

• Paul (8/5): Bayside is close to everthing, shops, pubs, cafes and local RSL - Husky Bayside Resort is very near the centre of town. Up the road from Husky Pub and short walk to the beach. Pool was great, very deep, not much shade though. Staff helpful, rooms neat and comfortable. What you would expect for the price. Good value. Some shade at the pool would be welcomed. It was very hot and sunny the day we were there.

We were impressed with the lower price considering it was a really comfy spacious room. Can be a little noisy with the upstairs neighbours but it didn’t ruin our experience or sleep
