The view from the balcony was amazing, and it had most of the essential amenities needed for a good stay. The woman at reception was really friendly too :) They didn't provide dishwashing liquid to wash the dishes with, so we weren't sure how clean the dishes were...

• Nadia (8/5): Clean, comfortable, full of charm and an abundance of bird life - Lovely small and quiet property with rooms overlooking the pool or out across Merimbula. Absolutely gorgeous view and loved all the bird life and activity. Yes it is an older style property but I Loved the charm of the room. Loved the space in the room, the bed was comfortable (I had a great nights sleep) and loved the addition of a small sofa (very comfy). On the balcony there was a table for 2 and also a small table inside. Room had everything I needed. Host on arrival was brilliant, recommended places to eat, gave an overview of town and where to find things. Was a lovely touch to offer fresh milk. Is located on the main road and as a female solo traveller I felt safe. Embarrassingly I did lock myself out of the room at night but the host came to my rescue.

• Jenai (8/5): A wonderful view and comfy bed - The location is amazing, the views are breathtaking taking and the room has wvery thing you need for a comfortable stay without all the bells and whistles. It is an older style accommodation but spacious, comfy, clean and well equipped. The owners are lovely and welcoming as well as true locals so can point you in the right direction for any suggestions. I travel to the area approx 8 tomes a year and this is by far one of my favourite places to stay, especially as a solo female traveller.

The owners obviously take great pride in their Motel as everything was so clean and tidy and well set out. The views across the bay was magical. A very quiet location with a comfortable bed made it a really relaxing stay.

Lovely on site hosts. Good value for money. After my poor experience the night before at another motel in town this was paradise.

Super friendly staff, easy check in and super grateful they space the guest out between rooms, some motels place all guests right next to each other because apparently it’s easier with the cleaning. But it’s always nice to have some space and more privacy so thank you 🤩 there’s a newly updated motel just a bit further down the road that I’ve stayed at, it was nicely renovated but you don’t have a view like this and no balcony, with the path to the rooms right outside your window so not much privacy either. And you could hear a pin drop in the room next door. So I much prefer kingfisher, old school great motel with the best view in town. It was magical having breakfast on the balcony watching the sun rise over the ocean.

You do need to drive into town, however all of the clubs do a courtesy bus if you need that can pick you up and drop you off!

The owners Janine and Baron went well and truly out of their way to make us welcome. Unfortunately we lost our car in a flash flood in Pambula and Janine and Baron came to our rescue and helped us out immensely. The unit was spotless and the pool was clean and refreshing. Lovely stay, thank you J and B for your tremendous hospitality!

Fantastic views of the water - The Location was excellent Janine & Baron were excellent hosts, the rooms were always clean. Thank you both for looking after us, on our Adventure south. :) Janine & Baron are excellent hosts & they care for the natural wild life that visits thier property. Lorrikets, Cockatoos & Kangaroos which definately made our visit more memorable. :)
