Guest Reviews
- Stephen (10/5): Absolutely enjoyed the days we we’re there - Privacy of each cabin, facilities and fires and 5minutes to town Nothing
- harlemglobetrotter (10/5): - Great facilities (including basketball court), great value for money, nice and private, excellent location being over the road from mountain bike trails, flexible with check in and out times which was much appreciated
- Stoe (7/5): 2 nights in Tathra - Good layout, quiet. Friendly staff. The living room was not cleaned as we found nail clippings on the carpet. The rest of the house seemed ok.
A bit run down.
- Catherine (10/5): Great spot for a relaxing stay - Beautiful bush setting Nothing
- Kristy (9/5): - Fantastic surroundings and facilities Kids have unrestricted access to smart TV in games room
- David (9/5): -
- Bhavpreet (1/5): Disgusting and horrible. Unfortunately could not like anything about the property- their was no one there? No staff and - Unfortunately could not like anything about the property- their was no one there? No staff and no ppl.. everything shown to make this booking like activities were closed. Out of 24 cottages only one other cottage was rented.. I am truly appalled by this booking. If property was closed for public holidays then on booking time there should be a note both from booking.com and property business. I have lost my money - as we had to book another property so we can enjoy our stay.. property should be telling none of the activities will be available when we go on PH..
property sent me a note after the amount become non-refundable on booking.com, saying they will leave the keys as their will be no one there. we did not touch any of the amenities, linen or use of any of the facility once we realised there is no one there. So apparently no refund coz we touched the keys.. DISGUSTING. Do the right thing, especially we are telling the truth. If you can tell me that I am not stating the correct information than I will not be requesting the refund.. also why is the place closed when it is PH and why are you on booking.com??
- Kimberley (10/5): We loved our stay - Our stay at Kianinny was fantastic! Our superior cottage was spacious, comfy and clean. Peaceful surroundings and plenty to do.

- Quazi (10/5): Lovely - Very nice & Clean. Kids had so much fun, didn’t had to out at all. So much fun activities in the campground
- Kristine (8/5): -
- Tara (10/5): -
- Jovin (9/5): -
- Amanda (9/5): Delightful bush get away with friendly helpful staff - Far enough out of town to feel like a secluded oasis’s away but close enough to get to restaurants and explore the area.
- Lea (10/5): - Amazing place, so many activities for the children some cost additional. Loved our fireplace, it was a very roomy, clean cabin. Like the coffee pod machine but none of the cups actually fit they are all too big. Beds comfortable, little Mr loved the window day bed, it was his spot. Lots of wildlife around. The children loved the flying fox, archery, pool, canoes, tennis court and the shops / receptions ice creams. The lovely beach is not to far away either. Unfortunately no ovens so don't take things that need to be baked. Could do with some microwave safe bowls to cook / heat in.
- Hong (10/5): 有机会来住一周 - 非常舒适的酒店,很喜欢这里的壁炉,而且木材准备相当充足,娱乐设施很多,而且入住的人和客人都很友好
- Amanda (9/5): -

- Samrat (10/5): - Great staff, excellent price
- Katie (10/5): It was a fantastic place to stay. We will definitely be coming back. - Everything was amazing Only issue was bedroom door handle on left-hand side had issue, basically didn’t stay closed and you could push the door open without pulling down the door handle
- Nicole (10/5): Great cabin - We like the area, quiet bushland, activities for the kids. Will definitely come back for a longer stay. Pool was not heated as advertised. Hopefully the pool will be heated next time we visit

- Cynthia (9/5): -
- Rachael (10/5): -
- tomski1982 (10/5): Great family accommodation. Short drive to the beach, pub and bush walks. - Great location, helpful and friendly staff. The cottage was well equipped and very clean. Lots of little bush walks around the facility. Bush walks all the way to the beach for those more adventurous.
Heaps of wild life to be spotted at the cottages grounds. Nothing really that I disliked. Some fussy people may find the cottages a bit 'dated'. Saying that,it was not a problem for us. TV,DVDs and books available if the weather was a bit dodgy. Otherwise, one wouldn't be spending much time at the cottage anyways.
- Badsha Zaidi (6/5): - The location, the fact that it was bit a secluded, felt close to nature I had asked for an extra towel and the staff said that for an extra towel I need to stay there for at least 7 days. I said we were 4 adults and one child and only had 4 towels and the staff then gave us the extra towel with hesitation. Also the bed was uncomfortable and small tor two adults and one toddler since we co-sleep with her.
- George (10/5): - I liked the cottages and amenities. None
- George (10/5): - I liked the cottages and amenities None
- Hosking (10/5): -
- Lindsey (9/5): Lovely location in the bush - Great location in the bush with a lovely lake and pool. The cabins are a little dated but really are excellent value and have everything you need. The staff were super friendly and helpful.
- Kathy (8/5): -
- Phil (9/5): -
- Rachel (9/5): peaceful - Location was vey peaceful and full of nature great spot. I have nothing bad to say.
- Graeme (10/5): - Fantastic quiet bush location. Spacious bedroom and Lounge. Good quality kitchen items. Easy to work big screen TV. Great BBQ facility. The plumbing all worked well but looks as though it will need maintenance soon.
- Kathryn (10/5): -
- Christina (10/5): -
- Stephanie (10/5): One of the best -
- Heather (8/5): Lovely cottages surrounded by beautiful bushland. Relaxed and comfortable stay. - Beautiful, relaxed setting. Basic, good accommodation. Easy to get to Tathra in 5 minutes. All the basic facilities were provided for a comfortable and pleasant stay. We would stay again. Beds were a bit hard, but comfortable enough. Otherwise, all good.
- Jean-Christophe (9/5): Great spot, great facilities! - Amazing location and facilities. Peaceful and quiet. Lots of activities for our family. Loved the wooden cabins. Very close from the beach and so many bush walks available. Loved it all. Nothing.
- JOHN WIELGOSZ (9/5): -
- Craig (9/5): -
- Paul (10/5): Great family getaway. - Ideal for what our needs were. Great location, comfortable and clean. Facilities helped entertain our grandsons. Would definitely come back. Bush setting was relaxing but may need to consider bushfire mitigation during hotter months - leaf debris on roofs and gutters, and ground fuel around cabins. Asset Protection Zones recommended.
- Lynette (7/5): Disappointed in cooking facilities, modern bathrooms, brilliant beds, and poor lounges. - Private. Great location. Clean. Surprisingly modern design inside. Upgraded bathroom. Plenty of hot water. No reception support after 5pm. Poor parking facilities. Could do with kitchen and BBQ upgrades. BBQ looked unsafe to use. Microwave was 40 years old.
- Cathy (10/5): Beautiful natural surroundings, cosy cottages. Great place to unwind. - Beautiful surroundings. Nothing
- Betsy (9/5): my family loves to stay here whenever we can as a place to stay. Close to Tathra, and Merimbula. - it’s quite, clean and a nature stay. my kids love here not really.
- FENG (9/5): - The hotel staff were excellent. There was sand in my car, and they even provided a vacuum cleaner for me to clean it out. I had a really wonderful two-night stay and would definitely come back if I get the chance.
However, I'm not sure why, but as an Asian person, people in this small town tend to stare at me—some with cold looks—though I've also met very friendly locals.
- Kaenarelle (10/5): Amazing cabin stay - Amazing lodges cozy and beautiful scenery amd amazing amenities Didnt stay for longer
- Tommaso (10/5): -
- Shane (10/5): Quite and stresses - Peacefu Nothing
- Ian (9/5): Bush cottages - Spotlessly clean. Right in the forest. A bit of a drive into town. No food/drink facilities at the resort. No reception after 5pm.
- Jan (9/5): A peaceful bush location with a comfortable simple cottage. - The bush surroundings. The cottage wasn’t fancy, but it had everything we needed and it was clean and comfortable. Nothing to mention.
- Lisa (10/5): -
- Lisa (10/5): -

- Avril (8/5): -
- Dennis (10/5): Great stay - Setting in bush Internet not great
- Jonathan (10/5): Fabulous Weekend Away - We were arriving late on Friday and the staff made our late check in easy.
On arrival, our cabin was well appointed and welcoming. As it was Valentines weekend, their additional touch of chocolates was well thought of and appreciated.
Our cabin was super clean and had everything we needed for a cosy weekend away in Tathra.
- Jan (9/5): Convenient and friendly - Tranquility Nothing
- Dennis (10/5): - Great setting Nothing

Very clean cabin
Lovely comfortable bed

Quiet
Free 18 hole mini golf

- Karmel (9/5): - Cozy place. Nice kitchen. Clean. Would have stayed a night longer if our schedule wasn't tight. No washing machine/dryer within the cottage. Didn't get to see koalas or possums while we were there :(
- Russell (10/5): Loved the stay, Che was amazing and the property just felt relaxed and comfortable. Highly recommended. - The property was listed exceptionally well presented, and clearly well looked after. The location has always been superb, now the rest of the property matches this mood. Nothing.
- Arnold (9/5): -
- Tanja (10/5): - We loved it so much we extended our stay
- Tanja (10/5): - Beautiful bush setting. Cosy cabin. Friendly staff.
- Maria (10/5): - The privacy and the bush setting. Nothing
- Louise (10/5): Natural environment, clean with well maintained cabins - Very clean, well presented cabins in a lovely natural environment with plenty of trees- value for money. It is offered as a camp type facility good for groups ( lots of activities ) but also suitable for those travelling as a couple with cabins well spaced good parking adding to the tranquil setting. Staff also lovely , with some basic needs at reception. All good for the type of facility - maybe a little hard to find at night , but a big sign is on the road !
- Saville (7/5): -
- stephanie (10/5): - Beautiful tastefully furnished cabin in secluded bush setting so you felt away from it all - but only 2k from Tathra so you could get to everything so easily.
- Jessica (10/5): Genuine customer care, stunning location - I didn’t realise how remote it was and didn’t fill up with petrol, arriving very stressed within 30 mins of my arrival a wonderful chap arrived with a Jerry can. It’s that type of place, wonderful staff, clean, really gorgeous. Nothing, loved it!
- Deborah (9/5): Highly recommend for families. Good pool. Tranquil. - Great setting in bushland. Smoke alarm went off all night in cabin next door but staff apologised when I advised them the next day.
- danual (9/5): lovely peaceful stay, will come again. - comfy beds spacious rooms, I had trouble with tv 1st night mentioned at office and was fixed by the time I got back. the 2 friendly possums that chased me off the veranda and back around and put me back in my room, only happened once it wasn't to bad I thought it was funny.
- KLDBOUZIDI (10/5): - very nice and different from any other places i stayed.
- Paul (10/5): Relaxing bush escape - We loved the bush setting, with so many activities for kids but also it allowed you time to just chill. Staff were lovely. Cabins were well stocked with essentials to cook. Nothing
- Veronica (7/5): We did have the worst weather and it didn't help that things droped from the trees during the night. - The staff that booked us in were friendly and explaned all about the amenities and what was available and there was a lot to do but sadly we had the worst weather and didn't get to experience them Being adults we prefer a comfortable lounge to relax on and comfortable beds at the end of a busy day which unfortunately we did not have
- Suzanne (10/5): My kids think this place is paradise! - Everything Nothing

- Louise (9/5): - Gorgeous bush location with lots of family activities included in the stay. Some extras available also. Short drive to the beach. Great bushwalks right at the front door and nearby. Great place to get away to the bush with the family but still plenty of activities. The only negative is matches weren’t supplied.
- floyd (9/5): - Clean , comfortable and affordable
- Zoe (9/5): Professional, friendly and helpful staff. Highlu recommend for a family holiday. - Exactly like the photos. Beautiful bush setting and Clean, spacious cabin. Nil
- Lisa (10/5): - Quiet & peaceful bush setting with great facilities, close to town, very relaxing. The length of our stay, too short !
- Pete (9/5): -
- David (9/5): -
- Christina (9/5): Excellent bush stay, great for kids, close to Tathra - We were here for 3 nights during spring school holidays and it was brilliant-- not too crowded, our kids got to enjoy Camp Kianinny and the weather was perfect. The standard cabin was spacious, clean, and quiet. Kitchenette was adequate and had the essentials to feed 4 people (including a cheese grater). Lots of activities, paid and free, available at Kianinny. We loved our stay and will be back. Tathra is an absolute gem and I wish we had stayed longer! Would have loved an oven and a dishwasher, but was very easy to get along without. No bathtub, and shower only had a 'rain shower' head, which wasn't ideal with little kids (or at least my little kids).
- Jacqui (10/5): -
- Jacob (10/5): - kid friendly, located right on the Tathra MTB trails and very peaceful.
- cynthia (10/5): Peaceful, relaxing, quite - It’s a great place to stay winter or summer Nothing
- Ali (8/5): -
- Emily (10/5): - Comfortable cottages in a quiet bush setting. Clean and tidy. Bonus was the extra activities provided, only stayed for two days so didn’t have time to try it all. We all loved the mini golf. Great for families! None
- Gretzel (10/5): Highly recommended - I love everything about this place. The location, bush walks, amenities, cabin and friendly & helpful staffs.
There’s plenty of activities to keep us occupied. I like the peace and quiet. The cabin has kitchen and it has things needed for cooking. We saw wildlife as well. I enjoyed the bush walk in the property.
I would definitely come back and stay here again.
Highly recommended. None
- Estelle (10/5): It was so peaceful and relaxing and the staff were wonderful - Everything from the lovely log cottage to all the activities available for children and adults. Nothing, we loved everything!
