- Grace (8/5): Close to restaurants and comfortable. - The motel was well located, a short walk to the main shopping/business district and close to several restaurants. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The shower had good water pressure. Crockery and cutlery were provided together with kettle and toaster.
- nathan (9/5): - Great motel for the price, no complaints at all There was no staff on-site ever. But I found my room easy enough following the instructions sent to me.

There was plenty of bed linen and towels.
The cleaning lady was very helpful.
Great location. The motel is not manned and i needed to call for my pass code. Maybe the pass code could have been sent to me within 12 hours of arrival..? (as long as I had paid of course).

We had to book another place as this one was so unacceptable. Waste of money!

- Di (7/5): Overall it's a great hotel, great location, clean, neat, tidy. Great experience. - The main light in the room didn't come on. The fan in the bathroom took a very long time to come on. There was cutlery and crockery for 1 person, not 2 people.

- Donna (7/5): - Cheap Rude lady when called after hours when arrived , had alreay paid and booked.
- Sandra (10/5): Easy access - Great location Parking was a bit tight
- Olga (7/5): Average to good for a one night stay. Fairly modern and central - Had most requirements of a standard motel. But limited kitchen facilities eg no sink. Easy to get to. Plenty of parking. Fairly quiet location We arrived after 7pm and office closed. Upon ringing, the lady advised they werenât going to let us in as beyond their entry time. But she contacted another lady who let us in. Relief! The bed was a bit hard.
- Wal (8/5): Value - No bath mats
- Kenneth (8/5): - Self check-in. Needed to use the bbq but told it was out of order and pool area closed at 6pm.
Otherwise pleasant and comfortable room
- Sandeep Kumar (2/5): - Worst experience.
- Koh (8/5): Value for price - Nice simple motel. Everything is there. Value for price.
- Bronwyn (8/5): -
- Cyril (5/5): -
- Nevins (1/5): Uncomfortable - Location The bed had the springs comming the top very hard and uncomfortsble
- Peter (6/5): - Average Motel - large spacious clean rooms. Decor modernised but still slightly dated.
It was fairly clean, it is in a good location - central to Gladstone. It is fairly quiet. Just the occasional truck, Harley or V8 could be heard.
Why did we stay here: We needed two rooms and our preferred option was booked.
Would I stay here again: yes but only if our preferred option was not available.
- Rae (6/5): Very unacceptable check in experience. Room was adequate. - Room was adequate, clean. Motel is under new management, and they are managing it from their other motel in town. There is an onsite caretaker, but they do not have any access to bookings. You are supposed to ring a phone number and they will give you your room number and code to unlock the box on your front door where the key is. I tried to call & left a message, no response. Caretaker tried to call work and both personal numbers. No response. My young daughter and I had to sit on the outside steps in the cold & dark and eat our pizza while we waited for someone to ring back with our room details (30 minutes). No explanation. Caretaker wasn't overly apologetic. Alternative was we could drive to the other motel and get the details and come back! 2 people travelling for work had done just that, which is totally unreasonable to expect a guest to do. When we did get details, caretaker had to come with a torch to give us light to unlock the box & door as poor outside lighting.
- CTX (10/5): -
- Frank (6/5): Pleasant -
- Maisha (7/5): Good -
- Ray (1/5): Bad - Absolutely disgusting, false advertising nobody at all booked into motel except me, no external lighting, extremely dangerous to walk anywhere at night.
Was booked to stay for two nights in Gladstone for my brother's funeral. Stayed only one night and left the very next morning and found other accommodation . Even a half used bottle of milk in the refrigerator?? , that's how bad it was. Would not recommend to anyone. Don't be ripped off by false advertising as I was.đ Everything, absolutely disgraceful. Totally false advertising.
- Benjamin (8/5): - Convenient location and clean room
- Robyn (9/5): Value for money - Exceptionally clean room. Beds were comfortable and shower was hot. Room was small but was excellent value for the cost Description advised unit on ground floor which was correct but had 2 large steps to get up to the room from car park
- Matt (8/5): Very good -
- Paula (7/5): Great for 1 night stopover. - Clean and modern, great location Water pressure non existent in shower. No smoke alarm, only a spot where it should be.
- Glen (8/5): Very good -
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Served its purpose
- Glenn (8/5): Very good -
- Debra (3/5): Poor - The room was neat and tidy.. Good water pressure. Good position, but noisy. All car parks were filthy. Door to room let light through bottom and side,I blocked the bottom with a towel so it was dark inside. I didn't realise the location,it was noisy at night till early hours in the morning. Entrance to building was not welcoming.
- Paul (6/5): - Okay, firstly the good: the room was nice and parking was plentiful. Comfy bed and good shower/bathroom. But I had a huge problem with arriving at the motel after an 8 hour drive and finding no one there, just a sign telling me to ring a phone number (and having to leave a message because no one answered). I have no issue with contactless check-ins - the stays before and after were both like that, but they also both notified me well in advance and I knew exactly what to expect, unlike this time. It all worked out in the end, but I was quite concerned at the time.
- Aurora (8/5): Very good -
- Chris (9/5): Superb -
- Danna (5/5): Passable -
- Louise (10/5): Exceptional - Great location to go to and from the netball carnival
- Brody (10/5): - Close to town
- Trish (6/5): - Centrally located, good price, clean, quiet, adequate furnishings. No staff onsite for checkin, instruction re: key safe werenât sent but easily remedied by calling the mobile number on door
- Michael (9/5): Superb -
- Jim (6/5): Pleasant -
- Cher (7/5): Good -
- John (5/5): Passable - Not much. Room was clean. Reasonably convenient parking Very slow wi fi. Very dated and tired exterior. Managed remotely so nobody on site
- Aurora (9/5): It was a very pleasant stay. Lee (the manager) was very accomodating. - It was on the ground floor. No stairs to contend with. The room was welcoming. Could do with a new bench top as the current one is full of marks. Benchtop could do with a repair/change.
- Sarsha (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely clean rooms, great communication, easy booking and morning cleaning staff are quiet and lovely when encountered
- Essery (2/5): Very poor -
- Shakira (8/5): - Friendly staff, rooms were clean, good water pressure in shower
- Geoffrey (8/5): Very good -
- Paul (8/5): Very good -
- Georgia (10/5): Exceptional -
- Williams (9/5): Superb - Great value for money. Clean and quiet. Only problem was the pool was closed for maintenance
- Lezani (8/5): Very good -
- Ella (1/5): The Worst Stay of My Life â DO NOT BOOK! - NOT A THING There's far too much to mention but this was a nightmare from start to finish. Despite emailing my arrival details months in advance, I never received the necessary codes for my 3 AM check-in. I had to chase down multiple contacts, only to be met with condescension and blatant gaslighting from the owner, Lee, who insisted he had sent them when he absolutely had not.
Upon entering the room, it was filthyâflat pillow, stained blanket crammed in a cupboard, musty smell, broken microwave, and only one working light out of four. The fridge and bathroom were both dirty and it was clear minimal effort was made to prepare it for guests.
The worst part? I accidentally locked myself out (Room 3), only to learn that Lee knew there was no backup key and hadnât bothered to fix the issue. Instead of taking responsibility, he made me pay $150 for a locksmithâdespite this exact issue happening to another guest just days earlier!
Lee is manipulative, unprofessional, and has no business running accommodations. This place is a disgrace, and no one should be subjected to such an awful experience. NEVER AGAIN!
- Jessica (7/5): Good - Good location for Heron Island ferry port. Fast Wi-fi in room. Great Air-con Bathroom was not clean and there was a leak under the shower door meaning whenever you took a shower the bathroom flooded a bit. Just all needed a bit of a re-vamp.
- Alan (7/5): Good -
- Louise (5/5): A real shame this place is falling apart. - Staff via message were responsive and attentive.
The location is excellent for the marina.
No frills and basic but was okay for overnight stay. No onsite staff. So itâs uninviting and a ghost town of a place.
Property standards have slipped dramatically in 5 years.
Everything from the rusty fridge to the light globes not working, lack of adequate bedding and poor cleanliness standards, leaves a lot to be desired.
5 yrs ago this was a solid 9/10 and now itâs barely a 5/10. A shame. We wonât risk staying here again.
- Katherine (9/5): Superb - Neat and tidy.
Location A bit noisy
- Brody (10/5): - Clean and tidy
- Brody (10/5): Exceptional -
- Debbie (5/5): Passable - Not much. The linen was clean. The pool was closed, people's washing hanging all over the verandahs. Smokers in most rooms, which lingered on the verandahs. Dingy stairwell to go upstairs. Didn't feel safe. Photos definitely don't show true condition of the place.
- Jayden (7/5): Good -
- Howard (1/5): Bad -
- James (5/5): Passable -
- chris (8/5): - Not sure I like having no staff on location, see good and bad. Also need to communicate with wotif, as they offered payment on arrival, which is not the case
- Zac (10/5): Exceptional -
- Cass (3/5): Not great - Good location Rooms were very basic and in need of maintenance.
No staff on site for check in, check out or maintenance.
