• Dave (9/5): Quiet and comfortable - a good place for a night’s rest. - Quiet, easy parking, modern bathroom fixtures, bed was comfortable. I arrived when it was raining; as is common around the central coast there’s some walking involved in visiting the site where there is no shelter from the rain.
• Knox (8/5): Had a happy time - Hard to find, after 6-hour drive Shouldn’t have had to pay extra to avoid carting luggage down steps, & up again when we left. In our mid 80s, luggage is a problem!

• Greg (9/5): Pleasant, comfortable stay at Avoca Beach Hotel. - Room was quiet and comfortable and very clean, with good quality and sufficient beverage and bathroom products. Bed appeared firm/hard but turned out to be quite comfortable and plenty of lights and with ample lounge area comfort. While the bushland, treetop surroundings are very pleasant, the gardens need a bit of attending to and re-planting/new plants which would make the surrounds more enjoyable. A few cobwebs on the balcony beams.

• TARA (10/5): - All of the staff we had interactions with were friendly and knowledgeable. We asked if we could move to a bigger unit after our first night, and the reception manager was very accomodating. For our family, we appreciated that the 2-bedroom terrace was considerably larger and more modern than the 2-bedroom garden villa. The footpath/track from our unit to the reception area isn't paved or even, as it has a mix of dirt and little rocks (some of which are quite jagged). It would be nice in the future if they paved this pathway or even just make it a gravel one.

Lovely central pub for dinner and breakfast area. Villa was like one big room with bedrooms partitioned off-not separate rooms. Only one power outlet in the kitchen for the kettle behind the microwave. Bit dangerous boiling the kettle on top of microwave. Driveway to garage very steep and awkward.

Ironing board was out of a kids playset. No ceiling on rooms so you could hear a mosquito between the bedrooms and living areas. Very expensive for what we got. Disappointing.

We had to report the bathroom taps leaking and they we fix instantly. Just a week before we went it the 5 star Palazzo in los Vegas, so I it was a slight deflation in style and price. .we will.be staying here again . Salt water restaurant was great.

It was great having a 3ash9ng machine and dryer in the villa. The staff were friendly and helpful. The bathroom was old and the shower was small. The driveway was very steep and we struggled to get our car in and out of the carport. The information said there were wardrobes but there was only a little bit of hanging room in the master and no wardrobe in the second bedroom. There was little to no wi-fi available.

• dianne (4/5): Ok but only place available to attend a concert at Avoca Beach theatre - Pretty surrounds. The cafe for breakfast was nice. Coffee not so good. Very 1970’s style. Looks like some rooms being rented out to Social housing. Over $200 a night for very, very basic room. Cost around $100 round trip in Uber to drive 5 minutes to Avoca Beach theatre. Cannot walk due to no footpaths. Another concern is the gutters on the roof are chocker block with leaves and plants growing out of them. Considering this place is surrounded by bushland would this not warrant some attention!

• Jessica (7/5): Going to the beach and it’s wet and rainy the whole time - Feeding the birds at the balcony Expensive oily dinners. Bbq is implied and offered but no cutlery or cooking gear supplied. No plates either and very dirty glassware

Loved the wildlife on the grounds. Excellent dining available at the pub on property. I would have like the pool to open before 9am. Saw a couple of cockroaches in the bathroom. Didn’t like the taste of the water from hand basin.

• Robert (8/5): - Location near family was good. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Although the room was clean and tidy there were small cockroaches in the bathroom. To avoid stairs we asked for and were given a groundfloor room without knowing that the carpark is level with the upstairs rooms. Our mistake but a warning for seniors and/or those with mobility issues.

Close to 2 restaurants.Staff lovely and friendly Had a 2 bedroom Villa .The driveway was extremely steep and hard to park at night. The balcony was dirty including the table and was extremely unsafe for young children.I understand that bring surrounded by by trees causes debris but some effort could have been made to clear it before we checked in.It was disappointing not to be able to sit outside.

• Oliver (10/5): Had a wonderful time in a great place with a wonderful energy - The convenience of the cafe as well as the bistro and bar and the beautiful rooms and amongst what is like a rainforest. Also Sarah who helped to check me in and check me out as well as answered some questions for me before I got to the property was really helpful and really lovely.
