- Andrew (8/5): I would definitely stay here again. - This motel is very conveniently located in terms of getting on and off the hwy, and for eating out. The motel is not new or fancy but my room was spotless and had a very comfortable bed. The manager was friendly and accommodating, and even allowed me to check in early on my way to a family funeral, which ai greatly appreciated after an early flight from interstate. Very quiet location, too.

- Marion (7/5): - Gisbourne Motel was clean and comfortable. It is an older style Motel and not fancy, everything you need for a comfortable overnight stay. I did not like that there were no staff on site and the only way to book was online. As a woman travelling alone I feel safer with staff on site. That said the check in process was streamlined and efficient.

Had to wait for owner to come from 70 km away to remove the handle and release the latch which occurred at 12.30am.

- Adams (6/5): A quiet spot for a stopover - Very comfortable bed, good heating cooling, clean shower and bathroom. Good location with quick and easy access to freeway and cafes. It was very quiet at night. It could do with bathroom updating, but it was still clean. No hesitation in stepping into the shower.

- Michelle (10/5): - The manager Andrew was fabulous to deal with, I needed to contact the motel as my circumstances had changed and I wasn’t able to check in until midnight. Andrew sent me very clear instructions on how to access my room key. There was ample outdoor lighting for me to do this without any problems. The room was very clean and neat and a very comfortable bed awaited me after my late night drive. Andrew was very friendly the next morning, ensuring that everything in the room was to standard and asking if I required anything before I checked out. I highly recommend this motel.

Door had to be slammed to shut properly, went out and thought door was shut and locked to come back with it slightly open. Shower door was a little bit dodgy, would stick when opening it. Would have been nice to have milk topped up in fridge when they cleaned the room on the Saturday
