- Marlene (8/5): Mapleton Cabins - We arrived at 5 pm to find the office closed, but that was fine as the keys and a note were there for us. The only problem was that we were told we had wifi, but no password was left on the note or in the room. We asked the neighbouring cabin and they had been there for a week and not given a password.

We got charged an additional $30 for a "procedure breach " , we assume it might have been some dog hear left behind. Thats after we spend considerable amount of time cleaning before we checked out.
- Sandeep (8/5): Nice little cabins - We were looking for a budget holiday in the nearby area and i came across Mapleton Cabins & Caravan Park at Hotels.com. I stayed with my dad who is 75yr + and he really enjoyed the staying in the cabin. Cabin was neat and clean. My advise to future traveller, bring DVD ( you can rent one from a near by IGA) as TV signal reception can be an issue in this area. Overall: Pleasant place and would love to stay there again

- Paul (10/5): Teacher on holidays - Stayed here to be close to the mountains and ocean. It's the best of both worlds, great staff. Recommend pay an extra few dollars and stay in their villa's. Half the cost of that near the coast and your only a 20 minute drive to Coolum etc.. Great place for a recharge and Mapleton is a great little town.

As we weren't going to be spending much time at the accomodation we were happy just to have a bed, a shower and a kettle! Well we were pleasantly surprised. So clean, and the small details really made it. Good quality towels, and the mints on the pillow. Will definitely stay there again if I am up that way again. So convenient, and away from the Maleny crowds.

The beds were fine, but the living room sofa and chair are very uncomfortable and need to be replaced. Having to park outside the cabin in mud wasn't good.

Beautiful environment, loved The Terrace Restaurant at Maleny. Fantastic photo opportunies. Friendly, helpful staff at the park and other residents. Lovely 4 day break.

- Tracey (2/5): - Negatives: Old unit in desperate need of a refurb and a good clean; 3 air conditioners - only one worked; shonky electric frying pan - surprised I didn't electrocute myself; no bottle opener or sandwich maker; no dishwasher so crockery and cutlery not hygienic; depressing atmosphere both in the unit and around the park as a whole; mix of holiday letting and permanent dwellings does not work and there was absolutely no feeling of holiday cheer; the whole place was run down and had a 'wrong side of the tracks' feeling not helped by a gentleman who appeared to be living out of the back of his ute; they appear to have considerable problems with their online booking system as I was phoned on 2 separate occasions to say that the unit had been double booked; I was also misquoted on the price and ended up paying for '2 extra guests' despite having clearly indicated that there would be 4 of us - can't understand what the issue was when the unit was equipped for 4 people, but it ended up being a very pricey stay for such dismal and cheerless accommodation.

- Maxine (6/5): Good budget accommodation, in a central location. - The staff are friendly and helpful. I stayed in a small cabin as I was on business, and except for the day before I left only need the cabin for evenings. The queen bed was really comfortable, the bedroom area was small,but workable, plenty of cupboard space. The cooking facilities were adequate. The kitchen and lounge rooms were a good size, and the furnishings quite comfortable. The air conditioner was a bit temperamental, but it sufficed. The bathroom and toilet is small, the shower is very small, a larger person will have trouble with it's size. There is no power point in the bath room., there was a hair dryer supplied, however the only mirror is in the bathroom but no power point,plenty else where, so take a portable mirror. The cabin was clean but very tied. I found it pleasant enough to stay an extra day for a rest, before making my way home. Over all I found my stay a Mapleton Cabins & Caravan Park enjoyable.

- Chris (6/5): Quiet location near Maleny - The cabin we stayed in was at the back of the property near the rainforest. It was very quiet, although the huge light at night (probably for security/accessibility?) was not a good addition. While the room itself was comfortable enough, the layout was not ideal. The gap between the bed and the side was narrow, allowing only 1 person past at a time. The problem was because of the kitchenette on that side using up the space. Wifi was not available in the room, which I think is different to what is advertised.

The cabin facilities were a little old fashioned but well kept and cosy. The bed was very comfortable and the little touches made me feel welcome.. the tv didnt work but thats only because of the terrible weather at the time and the remote location. I'd stay again!

The staff was very helpful but it didn't alleviate the musty smell as we walked into the room for the first time. A coat of paint wouldn't go astray. Unfortunately, the photos are not to be believed.

Was disappointed that when we booked we asked and paid for an extra bed but it was not in the room, when we asked for this they were going to charge us again. A bit expensive for a cabin in a caravan park however this was to be expected in the area.

- Ron (8/5): Bushland cabin - Pleasant one bedroom cabin in a bushland setting. Quiet location while close to Mapleton shops/hotel and easy access to Montville and Maleny tourist areas and to Sunshine Coast. Cabin contained all we needed but bedroom and shower were a little tight.

Apart from them few issues it was nice. And the roads need to be finished up to the cabin as I broke my undercar lighting getting to the cabin
