- Susan (8/5): Warm and comfortable - The cottage was well presented and very quiet. It is adjacent to the Rail Track Riders and a short walk from the mountain bike park. I wish we’d been able to stay longer.

- Khim (7/5): Giant’s Table Cottages were a comfortable and convenient stay. - It’s room size and close location. Some minor issues relating to the plumbing, about which I will contact the owner.

- Maree (6/5): Lounge and bedrooms were clean, comfortable and spacious. Kitchen needed a good clean. - The lounge and bedrooms were very nice and spacious, washing/drying machine was good to have as well as an outdoor clothes line. The kitchen could do with a good clean. The fridge didn’t look too appealing with stuff spilt in the freezer section and completely iced up. We had to defrost for hours before we could fit our freezer blocks in. The fridge seals were very dirty and full of crumbs etc. The front door and entry mat were very dirty and we swept out as soon as we arrived. The Venetian blind was very, very dusty and we cleaned one of the cupboard tops. Overall the kitchen needed a good spring clean.

- Julie (10/5): Absolutely awesome!😁 - We loved everything about the property, it was a truly exceptional place, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Donna could not have been more helpful and patient when we arrived and could not find our accommodation. Nothing at all.

Good hot water, ample heating provided. Spacious accommodation, games, TV options The kitchen needs an extractor fan because cooking set off the smoke alarm and this was a very stressful experience 🙉😳 Also smoke alarm could but be switched off the usual way

- Susan (10/5): - This was the perfect place to stay for Maydena bike path - easy walk there and right on the trails, coffee shop, food. The cabin had everything you could want - heating, electric blankets, portable stove top. We stayed in 6B and it was great. Clean white sheets, good hot water. Also bonus is a restaurant on site so can just go there at the end of the day or have a drink. Highly recommend.

- hangglider (9/5): A really peaceful and enjoyable experience - The on-site licensed restaurant was the best with a delightful hostess. The beds were the most comfortable we have had for a while and the kitchen/lounge area was very spacious. The shower was also excellent. The sink in the bathroom was mostly blocked and drained very slowly. Duck droppings on the footpath were hard to dodge.

Knowing it was a remote location we looked at the photos of the kitchenette and it only showed a microwave and toasted sandwich maker. So we catered accordingly. We laughed when we saw a full kitchen with oven and dishwasher!

- Janine (8/5): Huge comfortable convenient unit in Maydena - Great location in Maydena, huge unit, had a spa bath which was great after being in a bush walk for 4 days, had a fully equiped kitchen and laundry and dryer, clean and neat. Only had enough hot water to fill the spa and no more! Lucky there were only two of us. If you had a house of people it would have been a real Problem for others to shower. Really need a bigger hot water system or instantaneous gas so you don’t run out of water so easily.

- Andreas Spieker (8/5): Gut aber noch Luft nach oben... - Die Lage in Maydena quasi am Beginn der Straße in Richtung Gordon Damm ist als Ausgangspunkt ideal. Die Lodge ist gut ausgestattet und selbst ein Waschtrockner ist vorhanden. Leider ist das Restaurant montags und dienstags geschlossen, so dass man sich wegen der fehlenden Einkaufsmöglichkeit rechtzeitig selbst versorgen muss. Da kein Toaster vorhanden ist, muss man den vorhandenen Grill zum toasten des Brotes nutzen. Während unseres Aufenthaltes gingen zweimal und ohne Anlass die Rauchmelder der Lodge jeweils für ca. 3 Minuten an, was mitten in der Nacht sehr unangenehm war.
- Rebecca (9/5): Very convenient location for a few days of exceptional riding. - Our family loved the location close to the Mountain Bike park and an easy roll down the hill after a long day of riding. The restaurant on site was also a bonus. The house was clean and comfortable, the updated bathroom was excellent and the water pressure was great after a dusty day of riding. The restaurant next door was very convenient, the staff accommodating even though many items on the menu had run out but the carry on was loud and some of the other guests did begin smashing glassware later in the evening. Which we could have done without.

- Helen (7/5): Potentially, this accommodation could rate much higher with some care and attention to detail - Generous sized accommodation with pleasant surroundings. For the price, I would expect a higher level of attention to detail with regard to cleanliness (kitchen drawers, cupboards and freezer were not very clean). Leaking shower faucet caused constant dripping sound.

The onsite restaurant ran out of the items we ordered and then didn’t tell us long after they would have known. They gave us a steak but didn’t inform us it wouldn’t come with chips. One of our steaks was also blue instead of medium rare.

- Nigel (8/5): Great cottages with attention to detail. - Nice roomy cottage with lots of details, very clean and warm. Close to National Park and the restaurant onsite Maydena Eats was super convenient and food was good. Also they have washing machine / dryer. No fly screens to keep bugs out as it was warm when we were there. Most windows were jammed shut too.

- Donna (8/5): It's just like grandma’s house, old but has charm - This property was very clean but tired. There was plenty of rooms to sleep and very close to our dinner venue. The fire was a welcome addition as it was cold and raining. I had booked this property because it had two bathrooms but unfortunately one was unusable due to it being put of service so that was a bit disappointing, we still had three toilets to use but only one shower for our group of six.
- Guus (4/5): een zeer teleurstellende ervaring - Locatie hebben we gekozen ivm een kanotocht waarbij we de vogelbekdieren hebben gezien. terrein waarop de accommodatie stond zag er netjes uit en bedden waren goed totaal teleurstellend, plaatsje is duidelijk in verval, dus ook deze accommodatie, veel lampen waren kapot, vanuit andere lamp het peertje overgezet naar lamp op nachtkastje. wasmachine totaal verouderd, koelkast defect. nieuwe pannenset echter geen kookpitten, eitje voor ontbijt gekookt in de waterkoker. ( we vonden later achter in een kast een inductiekookplaat (1 pits) of deze het deed weten we niet. In dit huisje ook een briefje met de regels hoe om te gaan met bv afwas, overgebleven ongebruikte etenswaren e.d.

- Margaret (7/5): Comfortable but not 4 stars - Giants Table seems to be the only restaurant in town and the service was friendly. Unfortunately the food was below pub standard. A number of features in the cottage were disappointing, like the broken towel rail in the bathroom, damaged venetian blind in the bedroom, no bedside table in the second bedroom, plastic wine glasses, visitor information file ratty from years of use.

- Graham (5/5): Never again - The accommodation was fine, location horrendous unless you are mountain biking. Everything, they should advise you that there is NOTHING in this town in the way of shops, closest supermarket is 100km return and it seems they only serve certain people in their restaurant as they told me it was closed but two minibuses pulled in and stayed in the restaurant area all evening presumably mountain bike customers, this appears to be THE ONLY ATTRACTION in this place.
- Di (8/5): Great location with everything you need. - Self contained and a great layout Property was great. A shame the restaurant wasn’t open on the night of our visit. Could do with a detailed clean. Blinds and exhaust fan on bathroom need some attention. Works taking place during our visit made it a little awkward getting into the accommodation. Perhaps being advised up front would have been good. The new concrete pathways will be great when they are finished.
