- Fotios (8/5): Great stay - EVERYTHING Nothing
- Beverley (8/5): - Convenient We could hear the occupant of the room above us as they walked around. The floor boards creaked!
- Michael (6/5): One night stay to break up the drive - Good quiet location The person at reception could not speak English as I was checking in. Not ideal in an Australian country town.
- Carmela (6/5): -
- Jonathan (8/5): -

- Ben (5/5): Short and sweet.. slept pretty well. - Location, ease of check in, good parking, Two storey motel, the room above us had a very creaky floor, so every step the person took we heard. Quite annoying at 5am in the morning.
If possible ask for a room on the second story and don’t walk like a bunch of buffaloes.
- Holmes (5/5): - Very helpful and friendly owner. I don't think this place has been renovated since 1980. The owner was fantastic but the motel is shades of Shitts Creek

- Deidre (8/5): - Location was perfect Would of been better if the caretaker spoke some basic english. Cooking facilities or camp kitchen would be good.
- Rhonda (9/5): Good budget place to stay in Stawell! - The staff were so helpful and kindly let us check in early!
It is off the highway so much quieter and easy to sleep!

- Jackson (9/5): -

- Shane (1/5): Horrible - Nothing The amount of mouse poo, poor ac, car park is collapsing
- Alexander (10/5): Comfortable, clean, convenient, and very reasonably priced. - Convenient, clean, comfortable, great price, especially considering we booked last minute as a stopover between Adelaide and Melbourne.
- Dorothy (8/5): Convenient, quiet, clean. -
- Hayley (8/5): For a short overnight rest, rooms were of a good standard - Easy to identity building. Keys left in safe place due to arrival after business hours. Could hear the people staying above us
- Kane (1/5): Dissatisfied and very unhappy with the staff. - Nothing at all The room had no hot water. After the staff member attempted to get it going for ten minutes he left and then came back and told me to move rooms.
I moved rooms and this also had no hot water. The staff member came back and tried again, still no hot water. He left and rang me about ten minutes later to say it was fixed and I could try it in a few minutes. I waited for nearly an hour and still no hot water. I rang but only got voicemail. I left a message saying don't bother it's to late I'm going to bed do not ring me back. About twenty minutes later they rang me and then came up to my room, getting me out of bed. He left the door wide open allowing the incredibly cold breeze to blow in. He ran the taps for about ten minutes and after all that a very Luke warm water came through. It never got hotter that night.
- maree (10/5): -
- Phyllis (6/5): - Quiet Old style
- David (6/5): -
- Wendy (8/5): - Location off the main road Pillows
- William (7/5): -
- Amanda (3/5): Noisy - The ground floor units get a lot of noise when the top floor visitors just walk around.
- Barraclough (8/5): Great stop over to and from our son in Gippsland. Have stayed twice now - Nice and roomy Needs to have a deep clean as noticed dust and cobwebs and also vacuuming in the corners and between bed and side cupboards
- Roselyn (7/5): -
- alphonsa (9/5): -
- Daniel (10/5): - Location was great, so was the stay Nothing

- XIAOXIAO (10/5): -
- Barry (9/5): - Nice & quiet Nil
- Wendy (8/5): Value for money. - Interesting historical building, small motel, comfortable bed, and good price . Hot water took a long time to start flowing in the shower.
- BillRider (8/5): - This is a very comfortable motel in a good location close to train station.
- Sally (10/5): We were passing through stall for an event and had to book last-minute accommodation. We were very happy with our choice - Quirky and unusual architecture. Very clean and comfortable.
- Gavin (8/5): - The location The shower is very small
- Stuart (6/5): Happy, easy, clean and convenient what we needed it for - Convenient and clean Receptionist needed google to translate to allocate rooms!
- Mel (8/5): -
- sandra (9/5): -
- David (8/5): -
- Trish (8/5): -
- Jan (7/5): -
- Denise (5/5): It was an overnight on a journey, reasonable pricing, but would likely no stay again. - Location was good, it was a quiet area. Pricing was reasonable. For two people, there were only three milk sachets. This almost seems to be miserly. One of the rooms had a cracked power outlet with wires exposed, and the toaster had to be held down to work.
The Booking.com advertisement showed a restaurant on site and this was one of the deciding factors in our booking the property, but it seems this restaurant has not been used in some considerable time. That was very disappointing, as we are all in our mid 70's, one having trouble with walking, so we were looking forward to not having to go out for dinner.
- Barry (8/5): - Very clean, quiet & comfortable
- Colin (8/5): -
- Barbara (9/5): Very pleasant and worth the stay - It was very comfortable and clean There was a microwave but no crockery or cutlery
- Judith (6/5): -
- Ron (6/5): -
- Fiona (6/5): -
- Janice (8/5): It’s a historic site and well priced and I’d stay again - The room was clean and comfortable and we slept well. It was located close to town. The building is old but that didn’t affect our stay. Nothing
- Hamblin (8/5): Very satisfying and close to the venue we were going to -
Derudover lidt dyrere.
- Lucy (5/5): - Noisy needs updating
- Nikita (10/5): -
- Shimmen (6/5): -
- John & Vicki (8/5): -
- Zikria (6/5): -
- Amanda (7/5): Spent a night not a fortune - Available Clean & tidy, but hope no one is staying above you, very thin floors.
- Stephen (6/5): -
- Anthony (8/5): - Price Stairs
- Eric (6/5): Fine for the price - Comfy bed. Handy to the pub. Off the main road through Stawell. The floor boards creak from the unit above. 'Creak' understates it. Sounds like an earthquake.
- Karen (10/5): - Great shower and bed. Roomy. Walk to hotel for tea. Clean.
- Judge (8/5): Good overnight stop - The staff were wonderful. Although very old, the accomodation was very clean and the beds were comfortable We could here the people above us thumping around their room.
The pressure in the shower adjusted when the people above used their water

- Mudassir Gondal (10/5): -
- Scott (7/5): -
- Carlos (7/5): -
- Fiona (7/5): - The 2 bedroom villa we had was nice. Quite spacious. Two sisters travelling together, so it was good to have our own rooms. Well appointed kitchen, with Air Fryer, Rice Cooker and a decent Coffee Machine. The beds were comfortable enough, but an odd memory foam mattress. Nice bathroom with washing machine if required.
We requested a 10.30am check out which was accepted, which we appreciated. Check in and communication was tricky, as the host doesn't speak any English. He uses his phone and asks you to speak into it and it translates. It works, but not fabulous.
We arrived to a dish rack full of washed dishes. There was no tea towels provided, but there is a dishwasher, so maybe that's why...
They could do with putting some sort of sofa in the villa instead of 2 dining tables with 9 dining chairs (the villa only sleeps 5). Would be nice to have somewhere to relax, especially after travelling a long way.
The website says the restaurant is open, complete with a delicious menu. But, after the host said the restaurant wasn't open that night, we read a review that said the restaurant was permanently closed.
We thought it would be fairly quiet, being off the highway a bit, but there was quite a lot of traffic noise most of the night, including Trains.
- Barry (9/5): - Great price for overnight stay. Easy access to town centre. Friendly vibe about the place. It’s a bit dated but owners are working hard to improve the facilities. Compfy bed, room was spacey, free wifi. Could have used a microwave in the room.
