• Helen (10/5): Perfectly suited and well run - Easy access with undercover parking; not that we had any rain during our stay but can appreciate this is an excellent feature in as wet a place as Strahan. Enough privacy being lushly landscaped and a little back from the (not busy) road (unit 4) that is an easy pleasant walk into the main street. Spacious kitchen made food prep a breeze and liked that milk was provided in reusable glass bottle instead of disposable tetrapack. Clean and well set up, friendly welcoming hosts. Would stay again no question.

The location of the hotel is quiet and within a 100m walk of Hogarth Falls. The bed was comfortable and warm. We appreciated the kitchen facilities provided. The owner was very friendly and welcoming at check in. Nothing really. We enjoyed our stay.

The cabin was very spacious in every way and we also appreciated the use of the free washing machine. No problems at all except for the shower space..haven’t had a shower curtain in ages.

It was conveniently located within walking distance of the local shops and the waterfront area. I would definitely recommend staying here and would happily return for another visit.

Clean and tidy. Lots of pots and pans and cooking utensils. BBQ available. Quiet area. Highly recommend staying here.
• Nell (8/5): Beautiful Strahan - The location is right in the heart of Strahan Village. It's an easy stroll to the foreshore to catch the World Heritage cruise boat, and the restaurants and cafes, as well as Hogarth Falls, are also close by. The room was spacious and well-equipped, with everything we needed for our two-night stay. There is a laundry facility that I hadn't been aware of when making the booking, which turned out to be a great bonus. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the outside deck with a glass of wine in the evenings before our dinner. You could hear some noise from the road out the front of the property and from other guests using the communal BBQ outside our bedroom window. This accommodation was the most expensive on our trip to Tasmania, likely due to the West Coast's remoteness and the many tourists who visit for the cruises and the train.

The inside, although aged, was clean and tidy and is suitable for families or couples travelling to the region. The location was key - directly opposite the best restaurant in town, while being so close to other tourist facilities. Highly recommended!

Just a small but important thing - there was a light bulb missing from the ceiling lamp in the living room over the couches and one missing from the standard lamp - so a bit difficult to read a book, but we were only there for two nights and forgot to mention it at reception.

Bonus for me was finding real milk in the fridge - made our morning cuppa so much better. Some of the decor is a little dated, but I didn’t mind that
