Very close to a small shopping centre, coffee shop, takeaway and fuel. Tea, Coffee, snacks in room. Being situated right at the traffic lights made it a little noisy, would not deter me from staying again.

- Heidi (10/5): - Friendly staff member in reception. We stayed in the single level older style building in updated very well-maintained order. Standard size double room has everything you need. Clean quiet rooms, large shower, separate toilet, micro, small bar fridge, crockery, reverse cycle aircon, large window looking at lawn and plants, easy parking and driveway, very close shopping centre for take away or Spar supermarket. - Sheridan (3/5): Convenient location but dirty/stained bed linen. - Good central location with easy parking. Yes it’s on a busy road but I didn’t find traffic noise a problem. Dirty/stained bed sheets - I left early and booked into another hotel. Couldn’t recommend this hotel - even for a budget stay. No daily replacement of towels or servicing room. Was advised at check in that new towels would be provided “every couple of days” and no servicing the room. Very thin walls so noise from neighbouring rooms was very loud. Although this is expected from a budget motel.

- Jason (10/5): - The room was neat and tidy and the lady at the front desk was very welcoming, I also liked the fact that they had table and chairs outside the room where I could sit and have a smoke as hardly anyone caters to smokers these days usually at most places you have to go and stand on the street. I will definitely be staying there again next time I’m in Toowoomba.
- Laraine (6/5): - The Flying Spur was clean and tidy. Geat that smoking isn't allowed in or around the rooms. Beds were comfortable. Booking in was easy. The pool needs a shade area over the seating area. The room we were allocated didn't have any allocated or undercover parking. We had to park either near the pool area or behind the main building. Not good if it rains and car took awhile to cool down because it was in full sun. Maybe the owners could look at improving the facilities by adding shade. If they provide and undercover smoking area in a carport.with seating, they could think about making the stay in the front 3 rooms more inviting.

- Lee (8/5): Budget Motel - Friendly, helpful check-in. Welcome snacks provided which was a nice touch. Handy having microwave and toaster. Unfortunately the traffic noise was more than anticipated. Friday afternoon peak hour from arrival at 4pm until we went out for dinner was constant. Hotel situated at traffic lights so revving off on green was annoying. Many rev-heads after peak hour finished. We also had very noisy neighbours until about 11:30pm each night. Older budget motel reflects price point. Shower towel rails extremely rusty so not great to hung towels on but an easy fix.

- Graham (10/5): For a rep, great amenities/provisions, value for money, good location, I'll stay again. - I'm a rep that simply needs a clean, comfortable, practical room. First time I stayed here as it was close to a work event. The bed was comfortable with decent pillows. Lamp shade was the touch type for ease of on/off. Shower recess was a good size with good hot water and soaps in the dispensers not the small single use vials. 2x complementary bottles of water, small chocolates, packet of chips, biscuits and usual tea and coffee. Decent cutlery and plates. Plenty of bench space for the laptop and suitcase. n/a
