• Jane (4/5): It was nice... - The location was great, except for the road works that was happening in the area made it very noisy and slow to get around. The pool and BBQ area was very nice. Free car parking and parking spot was great! It was dirty, old and shabby inside the apartment. There was still sand in the shower, a lot of sand. There was mold in the shower, the shower head looked like it had never been cleaned or replaced. The couch, which is the first thing you see upon entering was stained and old looking. The kitchen cook top looked rusty and old. The internet was unreliable. The walls where stained and the blinds where stained and miss matched.

• Lara (6/5): Great location, and good value, but could use a tidy up. - This property is a fantastic location between beach and restaurants. The apartment needs a deep clean and the property is looking tired in hallways, doors, and the pool. It also doesn't have any basics - not even soap, which I think you should advertise it as a bring everything.

• Jason (8/5): Great location close to beach and restaurants - The location was perfect so close to the beach and restaurants. The property was generally clean but could do with a deep clean like vacuum under beds etc the hallways could also do with a clean (gecko droppings on windowsill)
• Judith (8/5): The staff were friendly and helpful and the location good. - Location It was a bit shabby and not as clean as it could be and the tv didn’t work and wasn’t replaced for the first 4 nights of my 7 day stay.
• Kim (4/5): Nice location, but not up to sandard for a Gold Coast stay. - The receptionist assisted with manageress to the carpark and apartment. There was Ni lift and 3 flights of stairs to get our luggage up, which for seniors was difficult. The apartment had no lift access, the building was old, the apartment smelled, the bed was small, there was no soap or other amenities in the bathroom, we had to remove all rubbish ourselves on demand there were dead cockcroaches inside the apartment, as well as dust and rodent poo on windowsills, especially in the stairwells. We were glad to leave after our one night stay.
• Clare (9/5): Comfortable and convenient - Close enough to where I was working as a volunteer. The range of food options just around the corner was awesome. Property manager was friendly. No shampoo/conditioner provided. Air con remote had no battery cover. Shower gripped and couldn’t turn taps off any more. There were minimal/no shelves in the bedroom to place/unpack bags.1 chair. A set of drawers and/or shelf inside the large built in wardrobe would have been useful.

Everything was clean and tidy and really friendly staff. Close to shops and transport, beach and much more. Will definitely be back. Nothing to complain about.

• Tara (7/5): Cheap place to stash you gear and crash overnight that’s not a hostel. - The location and price was good The property very old and run down and had not been generally cleaned for some time i.e. lots of dust and general carpet litter. The shower had a constant water drip and the shower head at the wall connector was loose and did not stay in place meaning it had to be held up when showering.

• Mark (6/5): We knew the place well from the outside as we have stayed in the area many times and were very disappointed with the sta - Externally garden etc well kept, pool nice, location convenient Internally the place was dirty and run down. Very disappointed. A simple paint would help but in serious need of upgrade. Lights didn’t work, kitchen stove was a mess and impossible to cook on, even simple things like pots, plates and cutlery and cups were just a mess of what looked like cheap old left over bits and pieces. Beds were cheap and uncomfortable, one bedroom had an old stand fan only … there was even only one damaged lamp in the whole place. Overall everyone was disappointed.

• Christofidis (8/5): It was a nice stay - We liked the location and even thought it’s near may facilities and the beach it was silent . Also the apartment is good sized. I liked having a full kitchen and the kids enjoyed the pool. The apartment is a bit old and more suitable for 4 people, as we were 5 and someone slept in the couch ( sofa bed) I think it could be improved a bit ( both cleaning and the comfort of that sofa) or substituted by a new one.

• Esher (8/5): Budget stay & a great beach - Ideal location for a stroll to a quieter beach but the high street still has a buzz to it with lots of places to eat and drink at. Easy to get the bus into Burleigh Heads or all the way to Tweed Heads. Apartments had what you needed but slightly run down and could have done with a more thorough clean, but nothing unhygienic.

• Mblaszkowski (1/5): Do not stay here, FILTHY PLACE. - Our experience at this property was extremely disappointing due to the very poor hygienic conditions of the apartment. Under the living room sofa we found a used cotton swab and socks left behind by previous guests. Dust was everywhere and cigarette butts were scattered on the balcony floor. However the most serious issue, and the reason we left that same night, was the condition of the sofa bed. The mattress was covered in crumbs and dust, clearly indicating it had not been cleaned in a long time. When we pulled it out, the sofa bed was visibly bent, making it uncomfortable and unsafe to sleep on. Worse still, the mattress was in an unacceptable state, with holes and stains of various colors and shapes, as shown in the photos. It was clearly not fit for anyone to sleep on, especially in accommodation that presents itself as a hotel. Because of these conditions, we contacted reception. We were told that no one had ever complained before and that the resort was fully booked, so they had no alternative room to offer us. We were told by phone, while we were out for dinner, that we could receive a refund if we left immediately and were given just 10 minutes to decide. This left us no realistic time to find another place. We initially agreed to stay one night due to the lack of alternatives, but after seeing the true condition of the mattress we immediately booked another accommodation and left the property that same night.

• Katie (10/5): Comfortable and good location in Gold Coast - 4 of us stayed in an apartment here with 2 of us on the fold out couch and it was actually just as comfortable as the double bed!! Nice, comfortable, clean and modern property right beside the bus stop for main bus lines which was great. They provided clothes detergent which was really useful for us! We also forgot a charger and had to come back for it another day and the staff (Felix I think) was very helpful in getting it back! Would definitely recommend staying here when in Gold Coast! Nothing it was great
• Alison (8/5): - The manager could not have been more helpful. He went out of his way to help us get all our bags to our unit in the rain. The only disadvantage was the noise from the street all night. We were there Friday and Saturday night which are probably the busiest nights on the streets. The noise came from cars that Rev their motors and noise from large groups of people walking past.
• Amanda (7/5): Facilities and exteria are well mainted and nice and clean. The apartment was disappointing for how much I paid. Kitchen - The one staff member who was working was great. He was happy and very helpful. He did an amazing job being by himself. The room needs a good deep clean. When I walked in I noticed it straight away. And the fridge had a fish smell that tainted all our food.
• Laura (9/5): Fabulous location and great apartment. - Fabulous accommodation and great value for money. The location cannot be beaten. So close to the beach. Apartment was a great size and perfect for our family for a 10 day stay. Staff were quick to respond to any questions and always helpful. The area in general was quiet compared to other beach spots. There were local coffee shops and restaurants within walking distance. Would definitely recommend staying here. Everything was great and the accommodation was perfect for our needs. The bathrooms could possibly do with a bit of TLC just to update them a little. There was some noise later in the evening from a bar/restaurant behind on a couple of nights but the music was decent and it was generally just chatter among customers. But just something to be aware of.

Location was fantastic shirt walk to shops & the beach! - Location was great, having access to parking also as there was no off street parking at all! The tram is straight out the front when they finally finish the tracks! The outdoor wasn’t working properly, & not knowing the apartment was top floor so made it difficult as my husband has a back injury & all the flights of stairs were not his friend!

Food and crumbs everywhere, stains on everything, pillows should've been thrown out years ago. Things broken and hanging off walls. Mattresses should've been taken to the tip years ago, hard and can feel springs. We were in room 1 and it was in a shocking state. Interesting because my sister was in 34 and it was much nicer, new furniture, hotel spec mattresses etc. We all paid the same..go figure. Room was also infested with cockroaches. We will not stay here again.

Nice pool and barbecue area-shame the hot tub heater wasn't working. Secure car park. Manager Felix was friendly, helpful and quick to troubleshoot (couldn't get washing machine to work). For the price point this was spot on.

• McCrae (5/5): Not good, dated, needs maintenance, 3rd floor walk up. Good location. - Location is very good for groceries, eating out and public transport but is a 3rd floor walk up. The unit is very dated and needs maintenance. Shower is over a bath and edge of shower screen which is the only means of support in and out is unstable. We were asked to wash dishes and leave kitchen clean which we always do but last occupant left cups in cupboard with coffer stains on outside not washed including knives in drawer not properly washed. I'd expect someone to inspect this. The lounge has no support, the balcony is very neglected and needs a clean. Bed linen is a one size fits all and touches the floor both sides of bed which is a trip hazard at night. It seriously needs an upgrade. Would not stay there again. Have stayed in another unit in the same block which was extremely good in all ways, chalk and cheese.
