We found the beds to be uncomfortable, my elderly parents would usually stay in the main room with the ensuite, but the bed was too high and they stayed in the second bedroom which is further away for them to use the toilet.

Handy to restaurants and Happy Valley playground. Very nice view from generously sized balcony well shielded from easterly winds. Apartment spacious. Ample crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils. Powerful AC unit kept living area cool but only ceiling fans in bedrooms. Parking for 2 cars. Great difficulty contacting manager after hours when some things went wrong. Bottled gas for the range ran out halfway through cooking on a Saturday night. Also the range hood didn't work. Beds not very comfortable. Not soundproofed - a lot of noise at the back from Leeding St. Some crockery not clean. Tiny AC unit in master bedroom was useless, maybe needs re-gassing. Pool not heated. Note that the 3-bedroom units are in an older block.
- Cheryll (6/5): Disappointed with the accommodation for the price - Location Main bed was super soft, fan in main bedroom had a constant ticking (had to move to the spare room of 2 single beds to get sleep, pillows were like rocks, noise level from the street was very high, no ac throughout, just in living area which was mentioned but you couldn’t have the windows open in the bedroom due to the noise level from the trucks and cars. Washing machine leaked water when we used it.

Easy access to the apartment with a lift. Feeling of safety with a gated carpark. No indoor/outdoor access to level 1 (this is the level with access to the pool and upper street) after 6 pm - even your apartment key doesn't open that door :/ so you have to go around to the side of the apartment down some stairs to the garage to then get to the lift. Not the safest.

- Janette (7/5): Unit 15 - Great location. Amazing view. Extremely comfortable lounge suite and beds. Well appointed apartment. STAIRS were a killer, to get to this 3 bedroom apartment. Our ages 65 & 90. I made a big mistake booking this apartment. 43 stairs in total to the 3rd level. Only stay here if you are really fit. We had to plan our day around how many times we were coming up the stairs. I could not imagine how a family with young children would get the kids and beach necessities down and up the stairs either. We stayed for 14 nights, the apartment wasn’t serviced until day 9. Had to wash our own towels and bedding before that. There was an unpleasant odour coming from the floor drains in the bathrooms.

- Anne (8/5): loved the full glass windows with great views - Went for a night with the girls and was perfect sitting at the table looking out the full glass windows across to Pumicstone passage and up to Kings Beach. Stepping out on the beach front and enjoying the walks and cafes. Highly recommend and will be back :)
- Verified traveler (8/5): Great spot, but hard beds! - This is a really nice set of apartments with lovely views across the Pumicestone passage, and is very clean and well kept. The pool is heated too, which is great for younger kids. The only downside was the very firm mattresses, they could definitely be improved.
- Jasmin (4/5): Great views, lovely staff but terrible old bedding - The first thing you see when you walk into the penthouse (unit 12) main living room is the view, amazing!! And that is pretty much where amazing ends.. The bedding was very dated and rock hard, I advised the staff and they mentioned that I could use the extra blankets to make it softer, which I did but hey.. Still suffering a sore back... Other stuff that just puts you off is things like, filthy grouting (its huge and dated as well), dust everywhere and a coffee pod machine with no pods, and no instructions as to which pods it may take, seems like an empty gesture to me. Also on every wall (even in the lift) there is at least one faded sign saying "take out the garbage before you leave or it will cost you $52,-" or "put the dishes away in a clean manner or you WILL be charged $52,-" or "don't wash the white in house towels during your stay as the absorb the grey water and you WILL be charged" I all feels very nasty to say the least. Or this one, there is no mention that the apartments are not serviced during the stay (even if you are staying 7 nights), and if you would like more towels, linen and or toilet paper you can hobble down to reception and pay $1 a roll, per sheet. But, when you look for the free WIFI password (which is actually advertised) in the compendium, funny that.. nowhere to be found!!! For me, unless this place becomes a whole lot more person friendly, updates the beds, changes the blinds (for ones that actually do block out the light) I won't be back.
