• Therese (5/5): Average but it was cheap so you get what you pay for. - Location was good for the appointments I had to attend on the GC. It was clean but definitely different to what the pictures looked like Bed was lumpy and I had a bad back when I left. Only had 2 pillows. Turned the light on during the night to get up and get a drink, there were tiny bugs on the bedside table which I think were baby cockroaches. Wasn’t able to go back to sleep after seeing this unfortunately.

• Rowena (10/5): Very happy customers - My parents review: How close it was to the event i was attending, and also how clean it was and the bed was comfortable even for my overnight stay it was worth staying at. The staff was very helpful and understanding cause, my parents were there to stay overnight and they enjoyed it even the balcony area they loved it.

• Sinead (1/5): Worst place I have ever been. - Nothing. Never met anyone as rude as the man working at this hotel. Management is horrible., they cancelled our reservation without telling us and yelled at us when we tried to rebook and understand what was going on, then made us pay $150 cancellation fee when we did NOT want to cancel. This left us 3 hours drive from home at 6pm at night with no where to stay. Save your money and do not stay here, horrible experience and ruined our holiday. I have nothing good to say about this place.

• Robyn (5/5): - Comfortable bed Arrived no bath towels in room had to ask for them. Shower head leaked slow drip all the time. Batteries in the remote stopped working.

• Morrie (2/5): Extremely disappointed. - Air conditioner worked. Furniture consisted of dirty outdoor plastic chairs and a small round metal outdoor table. Room was shabby and old. There was no balcony. There was no view. Pool was situated in the sun next to the Gold Coast Highway. No privacy( Cleaning lady walked in on my wife who was naked after showering). Cleaners storage cupboard was situated directly outside our door meaning we were woken up early both mornings. Bathroom was tiny and shower tight. Hot water was impossible to regulate turning cold most of the time. Lack of power points where they were needed.

• David (8/5): Affordable comfortable good location and clean rooms. Perfect overnighter or short term stay. - Great location, i had a quiet room away from the traffic, upstairs. Room size was fair bathroom clean and modern, off street parking and security cameras. Good selection of resturants just next door - the thai place was great. Beach only 50m behind motel, 10min drive to the heart of surfers. Front rooms might get traffic noise(?) looks like a rough area a few dodgy types walking past.

• Frances June T. (1/5): Regrettable and not helpful - Not Applicable. What I did like happened prior to arriving in the Gold Coast, I understood the booking policies and unfortunately I still thought that the booking policies would allow for circumstances out of my control. I was denied access as due to delayed flight, and phone connectivity problems I did not get in contact with the hotel as my phone was flat. I experienced a situation out of my hands and there was no help extended to me from the hotel. Luckily my husband and I had friends nearby otherwise we would have been sleeping in our car that our friends lent to us.

• Sharon (5/5): We stayed for 11 nights and was ready to leave after 2 - Location was good There was a sink in kitchenette which was nice and easier/more sanitary than trying to fill kettle from bathroom sink No breakfast provided Cleaning staff were lovely, owner/manager abrupt The couch had no support, as soon as you sat on it it sunk almost to the floor The toilet was the most comfortable seat in the room Tv was digital but not a smart tv

Tranquil per la nit. Zona a prop d'alguns restaurants. A prop de la Harley Park Beach. Una mica lluny del centre i les seves platges. S'havia de conduir una estona fins arribar-hi. Era econòmic per ser a prop de Gold Coast, però a canvi has d'agafar el cotxe una estona per anar al centre.

• Kathy (4/5): Property OK, customer service needs improvement - Check in was smooth, the room was clean, air conditioning worked well, bathroom/shower were fine and the bed was comfortable enough. Facilities: two powerpoints were not working in the room (one in the bathroom, the other in the kitchenette). Parking: when we returned to the property at around 9pm, there was not an available car space for us, despite this being an inclusion in the booking. The only empty car space had a traffic cone blocking it with a sign saying "Caution - Do No Park Here". We rang the after hours bell but it was not answered, and it is not possible to park in the street nearby. Given that this part of our booking was not honoured and we had no other option, we parked on the common part of the driveway. We'd packed the car ready to leave by 6am the next morning, at which point the manager rudely reprimanded us for parking on common property and when my husband told him that there were no spaces available on our return (and still weren't) he indicated that we should have parked in the spot blocked by the traffic cone! Apparently "Caution - Do Not Park Here" is an ambiguous statement open to interpretation. My husband attempted to explain further but the manager walked back inside without giving him right of reply. A very disappointing end to our Queensland holiday.
