- Louise (1/5): We did not stay and would not recommend anyone else stay here as well. - Nothing. We walked out. The room was disgusting. It smelt of urine and we expect a full refund!

- CHRISTINA (8/5): Great spot with a top view! - Location, view and it was clean.. staff were lovely The bed was uncomfortable. The TV wasn’t tuned in but we were didn’t try it till 9pm.. so we just went to bed.

- Nolan (7/5): Decently priced central location within walking distance to most of the clubs and shopping strip. - The location was great, next door to RSL Club and walking distance to other clubs and shops. The price was fair enough as well. The general condition of the property was a bit worn and needs a freshen up. The pool area needs a garden clean up with long grass growing under some of the chairs. The automatic garden sprinkler outside our room sprayed water towards our room so we couldn't leave our room without getting wet whilst the sprinklers were turned on.

- Billy (4/5): It was unimpressive but we could not be bothered checking out and moving. - To get to our room we had to park in a dingy area. We then walked past overturned bins (ibis) and trolleys with laundry. The dust in the air conditioner has not been vacuumed out in years and my wife refused to turn it on due to her asthma. The hot tub is not hot!! There is a bit of road noise early am as lorries pass. This is not a place of comfort for vacationers. It is more suitable for road workers in the area who drink lots after work and cook their own food We will pick something better next time. This is a low quality place. Visit once never return!!

- Rayleen (1/5): Disappointing - I didn’t get to stay I was booked in for one night over the long weekend 2 hours into the 4hour drive to get there I got a call to say i couldn’t stay there as they had electricity issues in my room It was the middle of the afternoon on the Saturday of a long weekend and I had no where to sleep they didn’t even offer to assist to find me anywhere else

- Carolyn (4/5): Very disappointed at the presentation of the motel. Needs a maintenance man. - Location was good. The pool area was badly neglected, 12 sun lounges and unable to sit on any as they were water logged. The pool needed to be cleaned as it had leaves in it and needs to have the all the pool tiles cleaned. Not a very inviting area at all. On arrival there was no one at reception and had to ring the bell at least 6 times waiting around 15 minutes for anyone to meet and greet.

- Tom (2/5): An encounter never experienced - The motel was below the standard for the tariff asked. Very tired and requires a complete refurbishment. The bathroom was well below standard, given that I paid a very high tariff. I have previously stayed in other motels in Yarrawonga / Mulwala for a lower tariff, with amenities above those of the Capricorn Motel. Won't stay there again, nor would I recommend friends or family. Apparently, the motel recently changed ownership, with the incumbents showing a lacklustre approach towards customers. The bathroom is well below standard, desperately in need of a makeover. Kitchen Amenities would have been OK 15 / 20 years ago, but well below expectations in the day and age.

And when it started to rain the roof leaked dripping directly onto my bed. There was no one available at checkout to discuss this with. Overall extremely disappointed

- Ellie (4/5): NOT WORTH THE MONEY!!!! - The pool area was great with plenty of seating. Location was perfect for us as it was right next door to the Club Mulwala. The cleanliness of the rooms was lacking, the carpet was dirty and in desperate need of a clean or replacement, the curtain rod had been cable tied up. The bed was too low and well used. The smoke alarm went off twice during the night, no reason what so ever. The staff could do with some training. The car park an absolute shambles. Certainly not worth the $194 I wasted staying there. Would NOT RECOMMEND!!!!

- Lynne (8/5): Very pleased with the location as we were visiting the RSL and it was within walking distance - Excellent location. The pool is beautiful and the view of the lake is nice too. Great shower in the room, it's very large. The room is a very good size. It's a bit outdated however its very clean and comfortable The parking isn't directly next to the room as it normally is, it wasn't bad and we were fortunate to get the last empty space close to the enterance to the rooms.
