• Roland (5/5): Okay! - Das Zimmer war groß, aber relativ dunkel. Es gab eine kleineTerrasse mit Ausblick auf die Parkplätze. Unser Auto parkte direkt vor der Eingangstür. Das Bett war groß und hatte eine gute Matratze. Insgesamt war es zweckmäßig eingerichtet und alles Notwendige vorhanden. Für eine Nacht war es okay. Die Terrasse ermöglichte nur einen Ausblick auf die Parkplätze. Es gab kein Abwaschbecken, so dass Teewasser im Bad geholt werden musste, eine Tasse konnten wir ebenfalls nur dort spülen. Insgesamt für uns wenig gemütlich. Wenig Restaurants in der Nähe und nur per PKW zu erreichen.

• Julian (10/5): - From the very welcoming greeting by our host Lauren through to leaving this was a wonderful stay. A beautiful well equipped apartment with quality furnishings throughout. The private patio area had amazing views over the ocean and was the perfect place to sit and relax and have breakfast. Only downside was we only stayed the one night Absolutely nothing. All of it was perfect

My sister liked the banana bread bought over by the host and the last minute no trouble provision of high chair for her baby. That our group was split and we didn’t actually all stay at Tahi lodge, this was not made clear. Two stayed in a small apartment as part of tahi and the rest in a house. Also the host whilst trying to be nice, (although on first meeting initially a little rude), was just too much. I really like a self check in and no contact unless I initiate it. So found this a little invasive. So this made it good instead of very good for me and my party.

The views over the water made for a beautiful outlook. The host not only provided a great place to stay, we were also given generous supplies for breakfast including a huge platter of fruit that we thoroughly enjoyed. We loved staying here and would definitely stay here again. I wish we stayed for longer. It was such a peaceful and tranquil place to stay.

• Frank (8/5): Very comfortable. - Comfortable, clean accomodation. Very friendly, welcoming host. Plenty of fruit and cereal options to make ourselves a lovely breakfast. Good places for walking a short drive away. Nothing not to like but be prepared to drive a short distance to beaches and shops. There was no view from the lounge but there was a lovely view from the bedroom and a private outside sitting area also with a view.

• Jan (9/5): Lovely would loved to have stayed longer - Good location, loverly property, very comfortable with a great view from our room. The manger was warm and friendly, leaving us home made treats which were unexpected but lovely.
• Hannah-May (6/5): - The location is amazing and the facilities were perfect for our needs. The house is warm and quiet. Our host went above and beyond which I think many guests would really appreciate, particularly overseas visitors. However, the host also turned up unannounced on several occasions which I have not encountered before (usually hosts text to check). She also entered the house while I was alone napping without knocking. She definitely did not think anyone was there but could have knocked to check. It felt quite invasive. We did text to ask her to back off but she misunderstood who the message was from as my husband sent it (I made the booking but we gave her my husband's phone number to communicate with as I'm quite socially nervous). I do think this was simply a misunderstanding and absolutely no ill intent but it meant we were more anxious than usual on holiday.

The place is very clean and has everything you need. The fruit, banana cake and breakfast all of good quality and yummy. Highly recommend and will definitely return with different groups 👍

There was no USB plug and we didn’t bring an adapter just the cable. Also felt it was very expensive which is fine, if you can spilt the costs with a group. But they only allow max of 6 people in a massive house.

• Vinodhan (10/5): Awesome and 5 star - Location was good, just 3min to the beach and shops. Tahi Lodge was an excellent choice, neat and tidy and equipped with everything you need for a comfy stay. Lauren is an excellent host, friendly and always available for requests. Liked the breakfast cereals with a variety of fresh fruit, yogurt, juices, jams and bread. The icing on the cake was the amazing ocean views from Tahi Lodge. Tahi Lodge was great for a relaxing and comfy stay. Did not like the local beaches.

Comfortable and stylish, it made a great base in exploring around this area. Recommend Brick Bay sculpture walk and lunch.

Fridge, toaster and kettle (coffee machine - extra charge). Large flat screen TV. Very comfortable one night stay en route further north. Separate bedroom with large comfortable bed. Large en suite shower and toilet. Very clean and everything in very good condition. Small terrace immediately outside with table and chairs. Parking right outside the room. Breakfast items in fridge and cupboard: yoghurt, cereals, milk, fruit juice, bread, butter, jams and a well stocked fruit bowl. Very nice hosts. Quiet location in a residential area.

Our young children had a wonderful time and really took to Lauren, leaving some thank you notes and pictures ❤️ We (parents) found the bed a little uncomfortable, no complaints from the littles.
