- lillypilly7 (6/5): Average - Accommodation is hard to get in Biloela due to the many workers occupying everything available - not great for travellers or the tourism industry in general. Our room was comfortable but average although at $150 per night, rather expensive. A continental breakfast was included so we went over only to find that it was more like a camp kitchen in a caravan park rather than a breakfast room - help yourself, bread in a packet that everyone else has been digging in, white bread only, a few cereals, and boil the kettle and make a cuppa - and please wash up your dishes and leave it tidy. Not what we've experienced in other motels so not impressed.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The shower had good pressure, and included with the room is a light breakfast. I recommend this motel.

The dining shack is a great option for breakfast. rooms are serviced daily and the free bottle of water is a nice touch.Great staff, very helpful and friendly. The charge backs to local restaurants and cafes is also a bonus Thank you, will definitely stay here when I come back to Biloela.😁

Lots of little extras and clean modern rooms with quality furnishings and appliances, for what would be a standard motel room price. e.g. Brand name TV with additional Foxtel channels, comfortable sitting chairs, quality table & chairs for dining, bottled water in fridge, crockery, cream biscuits, disposable razor, all needed linen & toweling, heat lamps in bathroom & more.
- donnaflee (8/5): Great location, great service - This motel is perfectly situated on the highway, easy to find. Across the road is a restaurant within easy walking distant for a meal. The someone was there when we arrived and was very friendly and welcoming. The staff member, Helen was absolutely fantastic, hubby left his wallet in the room and Helen arranged for it to be sent on for us and saved us turning around and driving two hours back.....Second time we have stayed there and will again next time we are down that way.

- 915MichaelG915 (6/5): Clean motel with good size room and some amenities - We stayed here one night. Pros: moderately large room with a queen size bed and a single bed. Amenities include microwave and bar fridge. The bathroom was large. Rails and amenities were present for handicapped people. There are plenty of power points however the ones for a computer are of the older style. Television, air conditioning, Wi-Fi (free). Plenty of cupboard space. Ironing board and Iron. There is a sink with cutlery and amenities for eating. Tea and coffee making facilities. Very friendly and helpful staff. There is an outside table and chairs. Inside the unit are two chairs and a table for eating. Cons: no dish rack for drying dishes. Bathroom as mentioned above but the shower area is not separated from the rest of the bathroom and water spreads across the floor. Overall this is a clean and comfortable motel in which to stay. The tariff was $130 for the night.

Husband loved the separate toilet and shower and large basin area with plenty of bench space. I loved writing table. One small issue that occurred was dealt with by Helen swiftly and efficiently and with a smile even thought it was later in the evening. Bed large and extremely comfortable with great pillows for sleeping. Air conditioning easy to control and had a great night of sleep. Restaurant, Settlers, across the road was easy and food very reasonably priced with wide variety. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay - excellent value for money and Helen could not have done more for us. Thanks so much and we recommend it highly.

It’s near the shopping centre and places to eat. The bed was comfortable and the room was adequately furnished with two comfy chairs and a small dining table and chairs.
- 687debe (10/5): Oh my gosh, where do I start - Good Old Fashioned Hospitality!!!!!! - From the moment I dragged myself in after a long drive Sammy was there - friendly, helpful and welcoming and happily directing me to my room, which was comfortable, very clean and surprisingly large. Yes, this home away from home caters for mining contractors and FIFO workers primarily, however is a fantastic hidden gem for the business traveller or tourist with all you could need for an overnight or longer stay. Both nights sleep were quiet and comfy; there is a small amount of industrial noise during the day (I was here over the weekend) though not really disturbing to me. Any requests I had during my stay were no problem, with Sammy going above and beyond to make me feel at home and comfortable. A big thumbs up for the Biloela Sun Valley Motel, thanks guys :D!

- Youstercockatooster (8/5): Great place to stop overnight or stay for a few days - This is my second trip to Biloela in the past 12 months and both times I’ve stayed at Sun Valley. I like this motel because the owners and staff are engaged and eager to make my stay enjoyable. I’ve been fortunate to have the same room both times and it was clean, tidy and comfortable. Sun Valley is about a 20 minute walk to a big supermarket and restaurants. There is also a fast food/convenience store about five minutes away. If you like a hearty meal then the Settlers Hotel is just a couple of minutes down and across the road. I had two meals there during my last stay and they were both very good.

- Michele (10/5): A real Gem - we stayed one night at the Sun Valley Motel on our way home to Mackay, we were greeted by a friendly team who made the booking in process very easy. On site they have a small but welcoming pool, a bar opens at 4;30 with a good variety of beer and wine, you can sit under the bali hut and enjoy a sundowner and they will even cook you a meal and serve it to you in the dining shack or under the bali hut. It is great to know that after a long day on the road you don't have to go anywhere after you have booked in for drinks and dinner. They also provide contractors packages. We will definitely stay here again, The team could not do enough for us
