• Porter (8/5): it was only one night and being an disable veteran had no problems except maybe a shower rail - Beds were comfortable, outside areas were clean and relaxing Need for larger mugs or cups, more sugar, assortment of teas, for example; earl grey, char etc. The sink in the bathroom would not hold water, just a minor inconvenience.

• Jo (8/5): - The motel is perched on the top of the hill as you enter Toowoomba from Brisbane. It's a perfect location to miss any traffic congestion after a long drive 😃! The staff were friendly, helpful as a had a fabulous sense of humour which was awesome! The room is stayed in was up 1 short flight of stairs and the car was parked underneath so it was shielded from the weather and well hidden. The room was small but clean. The air cond was great. They had a microwave and kettle/tea/coffee/biscuits! It was a very good price compared to what else was available. All in all a good experience!! I could hear cars come and go, and some late comers. More sound proofing would be useful!

• Caroline (4/5): Terrible. - A good size room Although clean on the surface, the room had the deep ingrained smell of a smokers room, with the overpowering smell of room deodoriser on top. It hurt my throat. If I had enough money I would have left and found somewhere else to stay. As it was I only got less than 3hrs sleep because of the smell. The light right outside the window was very bright.

• Amanda (5/5): Simple basic room, 1 night stay only! - Easy location to depart from in the morning. Comfortable bed and pillow. Simple room and set up. Easy walk to hotel next door for good dinner. Room had been smoked in previously and had to open all the windows straight away to air. There was also smoke equipment left in bathroom cabinet from previous guest. Noisy fan, so couldn’t keep it while sleeping. Small TV.

• Black (10/5): - The motel was a very convenient location, and was very affordable for what you got! The room was very large and the bathroom was clean, there was aircon and the room came supplied with fresh towel each day as well as milk and cookies. The staff were lovely and outdoor areas were tidy and a nice place to hang out. The bathroom had shampoo, conditioner, body wash, moisturiser, soap and even shaving cream supplied. Definitely getting a 5 star package with this hotel, I would highly recommend. There wasn't much to not like, as much as the motel was older it was very clean and modernised inside.

• Jones (5/5): Just ok. Nothing to rave about. Good if your purpose is to find a cheap place to stay sightseeing - It was cheap - big factor on my choosing it. Facilities were adequate for a basic stay. It was quiet. It was clean. Items used were replaced. The staff weren't particularly friendly all business no smile no thank you. Perhaps there was a language barrier but I couldn't tell because he hardly said anything. I had to ask where to park as this information wasn't offered. The bed was not comfortable, the mattress was a little on the cheap side, I have a bad back so I appreciate a good mattress. The T.V was small but I almost hit my head on it several times walking to the bathroom. The BBQ facilities didn't supply any tools to cook with and there were no sinks or even a tap. I would probably give it a 2.5 - 3 star rating not a 3.5 star. A lot of the stuff that could be improved was simple like staff smiling and welcoming you. I probably won't go back.

• Melissa (3/5): Would not stay again would rather spend a bit more and stay elsewhere felt dirty - Location was good. Quick drive to town or walk to event at queens park The room could definitely do with some updating, had a faint smell of urine blankets were stained and dirty, dead cockroaches throughout the room and had a few creep into some bags we had in the main room. Could definitely do with some love and perhaps a more thorough cleaning.

The length of the bed was ridiculously short I am only about 5 feet 10 inches tall and I was longer than the bed. Both the air conditioner and bar fridge were as noisy as hell. I didn’t run the air conditioner at night and still could not sleep eventually worked out it was the bar fridge and turned it off. Got very little sleep.

• Roberts (4/5): Never again - Everything was awesome except 2 things I didn't like the fact we were there for 3 nights they came in straightened the beds ( not new sheets. They redid what I already did while we were shopping on Friday so we are there for 2 nights and never entered the room before) so no I'm never going to stay there again. No do not disturb signs either. Was awesome till Friday afternoon when we got back and shit was moved
