- Rachel (8/5): A lovely get away to a beautiful town; the deer feeding was well worth the trip, simply wonderful! - We loved that we could hand feed the deer - it was really amazing to be that involved. It right on the property and you are not charged extra for the experience. We liked that the Inn offered pet friendly rooms, this made it a lot easier for us. Check in and out was very smooth and simple especially when arriving after reception had closed. Very close to shops and amenities. We went to the restaurant on the property for dinner and ate a very tasty grilled fish, chips and salad. Very handy. The miniature toiletries supplied are appreciated but they don't smell great. A little disappointed in breakfast as we prefer other options however it is nice that is is included; is only available between 7-8am till 9 or 10 would be helpful as you tend to want to sleep in while on holiday.

Some fixtures and fittings need to be repaired by professional tradies. The wall ( use temporary wood ) , the bedside tables( very loose) not fitted properly .The bathroom door cannot be closed.

- caybee (3/5): Reluctant poor reviewer - not good. - The communication with staff prior to arrival was great. Key box set up was good. Free parking right outside the room was great. Feeding the deer was a fun sideline to our stay. The ability to have our small pet stay with us was very reassuring. There was a grassed area close to our room for our pet. We had uber eats deliver our dinner without any issues. The Tv and ability to connect to streaming was good. Where do I begin.....the room was not clean, there was a bed in the room that clearly hadnt been changed as it had dog hair and dirty linen. The bathroom was not clean and the hooks to hang the towels on were snapped off, not to mention the door to the bathroom would not close. Despite 3 family occupants in the room, there was 1 bowl, 2 plates and cutlery for 2 people. The wine glasses were filthy, I had to wash them in the shower with shower wash before using (there was no other means to wash any kitchen items or dry them). The beds were most uncomfortable as were the pillows. The beds are well worn, hard and saggy.

- Isabella (10/5): The loveliest hotel stay we have ever had - peaceful, friendly, comfortable and generous! 😊 - Everything was lovely and just what we needed; from the rooms, facilities, pool access and location through to all the staff, the delicious breakfast and the beautiful deer in their enclosure a short stroll up the path near our room. I highly recommend this beautiful, quiet and comfortable hotel. The breakfast room was lovely and peaceful with beautiful views and provided a generous Continental breakfast. Wonderful, thank you 🙏!

Single bed in room 34 was very uncomfortable (you can feel the springs) and needs replacing. The paddock that the deers live in looks neglected and has very little shade. All the deers were huddled together under a tiny bit of shade. A nicer environment for the deer would be wonderful. The indoor pool was nice and clean but freezing even though it was summer.

- Uidam (8/5): Great value for money in a clean and comfortable motel. - Very clean room. Good attention to detail. Modern bathroom with usual motel facilities. Friendly, helpful staff. The included breakfast was a Continental style and sufficient. Indoor pool was nice but water was quite cold (guessing around 16-18 degrees C). Overall it was excellent value for money. Indoor Pool water temperature way too cold. Needs to be 25+ C degrees.
- Deborah (4/5): I wish i could give a positive review as we were so excited to stay but cant - The bed was comfortable however you sank and were stuck in the same position all night. The bed was comfortable however you sank and were stuck in the same place all night, the sheets wernt the size for the bed and seemed rushed, there was no knives or scissors to cut anything. The tv kept switching to a chanel that kept saying no service, never once saw any deer, no sign of them at all, resturant... what resturant. Partner was looking forward to trying and Went to order and it was shut and no tables were set and no sign of life in resturant OR reception as that was closed/locked too and it was only 6pm. The parking is hard to manovour and you really cant have a larger car trying to park in there. There were 2 towels and no bathmat, shower was not very hot.

- Cindy (9/5): Clean, comfortable, efficient, helpful. - It was clean and tidy and we could have our dogs stay. When my kid locked us out of the room accidentally, they were really helpful. It was fine!
