Although the hotel is located in a small alley, it is very close to the main shopping area and the beach, which makes the location very convenient. The only minor downside was that the mattress seemed a bit worn and sagged in the middle, so it was not very comfortable to sleep on.

The hospitality is just amazing- great front desk staff. Floating breakfast was amazing. They have a beautiful pool as well. Come here to unwind and pamper yourself.

Place was spacious, bed comfy and aircon downstairs and upstairs. Airport pick up was very easy. The staff are AMAZING and looked after us making sure we had everything we needed. Super central or a scooter away if you didn’t feel like walking. Would recommend this place! That we had to leave. Great spot!

Droga do obiektu wymaga przejścia w nocy nieoświetlonym kawałkiem drogi. Na duży minus transport lotniskowy. Odbiór z lotniska przebiegł ok, ale transport już na lotnisko to jakieś duże nieporozumienie. Zapytaliśmy wprost czy jest w cenie, a po uzyskaniu potwierdzenia byliśmy niemiło zaskoczeni koniecznością zapłaty za już czekającą taxi. Najpierw powiedziano nam, że jest w cenie, a potem musieliśmy zapłacić. To był niemiły akcent na zakończenie przyjemnego pobytu. Zostaliśmy postawieni przed faktem dokonanym, bo zamówienie innego taksi oznaczałoby nie zdążenie na lot powrotny.

The property strikes a great balance between modern design and a warm, welcoming atmosphere that feels very suitable for kids. Despite being close to Seminyak’s main attractions, the environment remains peaceful and relaxed. The townhouse was spacious, tastefully designed, and immaculately maintained. The comfortable layout made it easy for our family to settle in, and the overall space felt safe and practical for children while still being stylish for adults. Having an on-site restaurant was a huge plus. It made meal times simple and stress-free, especially with kids. The staff were very accommodating and friendly, making sure our children felt comfortable and welcome during every visit. The service throughout the stay was outstanding. The team were warm, attentive, and especially kind to our children, which made us feel truly cared for. We were also happy to hear that a gym will be available soon—an excellent addition for parents who like to stay active during their holiday. Breakfast was good, way better than a standard hotel buffet breakfast. It’s in a busy part of seminyak but luckily set back on a quiet road. Still road noise from motorcycles using the road as a cut through. But very tolerable.

The bed was very cosy and the spa, divine! On departure Archer kindly assisted with a shuttle to my other accommodation which was above and beyond great service 👍 I liked it all

Spacious rooms. 5 min walk to beach and about 10 - 15 min walk to main shopping and restaurant area. Great breakfast served in the villa each morning. Nice staff. Security. Have to walk through a dark and narrow alley/street with no sidewalk to reach the villa. Not pedestrian friendly.

The in-room spa treatments we had absolutely perfect—peaceful, professional, and exactly what we needed to unwind. The setting looks good with beautifully designed villas. The atmosphere feels private but within walking distance to good restaurants and stores. It is close to everything in Seminyak. We also loved the private pool area, the delicious breakfast served daily, and the relaxing ambiance that carried through every corner of the property. It’s clear that the staff takes great pride in maintaining a luxurious and welcoming environment. We can’t wait to come back! I was a little under the weather and they went above and beyond to bring my orders to my room. Even bringing me ginger tea for mentioning I had a sore throat. The staff at Cicada went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time in Bali, and even let us stay in our room post check out before our late flight. • Tahir (8/5): - The living room We had a very good overall experience during our stay at the hotel with our family. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and the general atmosphere was warm and welcoming. However, there were a few areas that could be improved. The main issue was the lack of sound insulation from outside. The sliding windows were quite thin, and we could clearly hear street noise and people outside — it often felt like we were sleeping with the windows open. This affected the quality of our sleep. Another point is the outdoor bathroom setup. While the idea of a bath in the open air might sound appealing, in practice it didn’t add much value. We noticed that hardly anyone made use of it. The showers, especially in the main bathroom, were also too exposed. In the evening, it didn’t feel comfortable or private to shower in an open space like that. A more enclosed or covered design would improve the sense of privacy and usability. That said, the hotel itself was clean, well-maintained, and comfortable. If the hotel improves the soundproofing and reconsiders the design of the outdoor bathing areas, I’m convinced that the overall guest experience would be truly excellent. We would still consider returning, especially because of the outstanding service.

The staf - We loved the size of the villa and private pool, location was great for beach and restaurants. We didn’t know they were extending the property, there was a small amount of noise but it also cut the garden view off with a metal barrier, I’d definitely stay there again so next time we will get the whole view.

Breakfast was ordered the day before and served in the kitchen of the apartment. We could stay a bit longer to match the complimentary airport taxi. Unfourtunately, the new gym building was under construction some of the days we were there but didnt bother us so much.

• 889dinav (10/5): A Memorable Stay at Cicada Luxury Villas – Perfect for Our Anniversary! - We recently visited Seminyak and made a last-minute decision to change our accommodation to Cicada Luxury Villas—and it turned out to be the best decision! We were celebrating our wedding anniversary, and upon arrival, we were touched to find our room beautifully decorated with flowers, towel arrangements, and even the jacuzzi adorned—an incredibly thoughtful gesture from the staff. We stayed in the 1-bedroom studio rooftop villa, which was very spacious, spotless, and well-maintained. The private rooftop added an extra layer of luxury to our experience. The staff were extremely attentive, warm, and friendly, always ensuring we were comfortable and well looked after. One of the highlights of our stay was the in-room breakfast delivered each morning, beautifully presented and set up on our dining table. As vegetarians, we were pleased with the variety offered—ranging from hearty cooked breakfasts to lighter cold options, all delicious and thoughtfully prepared. We also treated ourselves to a 90-minute couples Balinese massage in our room. Our therapists, Ayu and Kadek, were both excellent—the pressure was perfect, and the music and overall atmosphere created a truly relaxing and indulgent experience. We’d like to give a special thanks to Ria, Hendra, and Mona, who went above and beyond to make our stay so memorable. Their warmth and hospitality truly made us feel at home. We thoroughly enjoyed our 4-night stay and would highly recommend Cicada Luxury Villas to anyone looking for a serene, luxurious, and welcoming place to stay in Seminyak—especially for special occasions.
