GLENN (2/5): - I booked a queen and single room with a kitchenette, including a stovetop. However, when I arrived at Nambour Hotel, the room I was given did not have the stovetop as booked. I stayed for 7 nights, and on none of those days was the bed made. During Easter Periods, no extra toilet rolls or tissues were provided, and the milk was not replenished.

The screen security door had a nib u could click over but no key to lock. The glass door didn’t have anyway of locking. I could only push it shut and hope no one would try to enter. Tarling (2/5): I paid prior to arrival at property and was refused entry to the motel and have not been reimbursed. - I was wondering if I could get a $383 refund from Booking.com in regards to Nambour Heights previous stay where the accommodation was not refunded by the motel itself on the day yet I was turned away with stated reason that the location was too local to the address on my car licence. Being turned away for this reason as I had dental appointment booked across the road.

We had an accessible room on the ground floor (which I was extremely grateful for after walking the 2km uphill from the train station at midnight!). In a quiet location tucked behind some shops near the hospital. We drove past the first time as we couldn’t see the entrance…should have looked at Google street view!

The kitchenette bench top was quite small. It was a bit difficult finding room for the kettle, toaster and plates and cups l as well. It took me a while to work out how to use the microwave.

Leanne (7/5): Reasonably happy with our choice of motel. - The location was a surprise being so close to a hospital. If it hadn't been that the event we went to Nambour for took up most of our time there and we only returned to the motel to sleep, being so close to the hospital and the noise of the helicopter coming and going might have been more of a problem. However the room seemed fairly sound-proof. The only annoyance was neither a sponge nor a tea-towel for washing the dishes was supplied. Light over bed did not work and also blew the circuit-breaker. Luckily there were several other lights and the fuse-board was accessible. The bedroom and bathoom was large and airy and clean. The kitchen sink was large. Appreciated being able to access our room before 2pm. See previous paragraph.

Judith (8/5): The room catered for our needs, thank you. - Room was suitable for person/s with physical challenges. After having a shower, we discovered the bead of cilicon along the tiles to help prevent shower water from flooding the floor was inefficient. The water from the shower curtain drained on to the bathroom floor requiring a large towel in an attempt to mop it up. It is likely to be a preexisting problem, noting the door had a considerable amount of water damage.
Jazmyn (8/5): Great Stay in the Center of Nambour - Location was Central and the room had everything I needed for my stay for a work conference. Staff were super friendly and helpful! There is also a good kebab shop which was a 2-minute walk from the venue which helped when I didn't want to cook. I enjoyed my stay, I cannot identify anything I didn't like.
