- Sandra (7/5): Some good, some bad - Location was close to Jetty Road and convenient being straight off a main road (good and bad). Reception staff super friendly. It was straight off a main road which made it noisy from traffic but also under a flight path so planes coming in to land at nearby airport till late at night. Room was clean but smelt terrible with old smoke (like they'd tried to clean it out but it was impregnated into the carpet or walls).. Old motel complex but rooms had been freshened up. Expensive for what it was but it was Gather Round weekend so accomodation options were limited in Adelaide so price reflected this.

- amelia (8/5): Clean rooms, nice staff, issues with facilities and disappointed I could not receive my refund for these. - The room was clean and spacious :) Washing machine ate my money and staff on reception in the morning when I checked out weren’t able to refund me so I ended up wasting money on the washing machine and the washing powder that was wasted. Washing machine also only washes on cold. I was told if I could come back later I may be able to get the money refunded but it shouldn’t really work this way as I was only in the area for the one night. The door in the room noted to ensure ‘for your safety’ that the door is locked and bolted shut, I’m not really sure what this means and while I appreciate the heads up it made me very nervous about where I was staying. Lastly, every bed except one in the room was so uncomfortable, mattresses need replacing, fortunately it was just me and I had been given a family room to myself so I had the pick of the bunch, one of the single beds was suitable but the other single and the double bed were not comfortable at all, which is a shame because I booked a queen room to be able to sleep in a queen size bed.

- Andrew (1/5): - location We were unable to access our accommodation at The Glenelg Motel, Adelaide, which we booked with Booking.com for 3 nights. This caused us a great deal of stress and anxiety the reasons for this are as set out below. Plane delays had left us having to spend 24hrs in Dubai, as the onward connection to Adelaide was missed. I had duly notified the hotel directly of our delay and newly anticipated arrival time. On eventual arrival, we discovered the entry code supplied would not open the steel gates to the reception area, leaving us locked outside, with 2 large cases and 3 rucksacks on a cold night. Eventually a car pulled up. We were able to enter with the driver, assumed only that the entry issue was down to the gates - however our attempts to access the key safe located outside the reception area also failed, so the driver of the car loaned us his phone to call the number on the reception door. After a number of additional attempts we learnt that the security code typed on the booking paperwork had not been typed correctly. We were then given a new code which worked …. but though the key safe now opened, there was no key inside. Calling again, we were informed that the arrival of a security guard was necessary and told to wait a further 20 mins or so for his arrival. We were patient - but very cold, hungry, weary and exhausted having left Wales at 6.30 a.m Tuesday …. and it now being the early hours of Friday morning - and we had no means of accessing the bedroom we had booked for 3 nights, but were left outside shivering in the cold compound - locked in by gates and unable to leave. Upon his arrival the security guard was unable to find a key for our room and the hours were passing - so he spoke to the Management company, who said there might be a key in reception. This also proved to be a problem. He could not open that door. At one point he took a hammer from the car and was about to smash the door lock. There appeared to be no solution to us getting t
