• Shirley (6/5): - We were disappointed that there was only 1 bedside lamp for 2 bedrooms. The bedrooms where quite cold despite having the heater running at 25’ Wouldn’t recommend for a Winter visit but would most likely be okay for Summer.
• Ken (6/5): - Although spacious and well equipped the cabins are in dire need of renovation/updating (carpets, furniture, decor,mattress). Grounds/landscaping are in need of maintenance. The pool was lovely but access gates were locked! No sign of staff and reception locked….. eventually contacted via telephone and told location of cabin and key. Not good value.

• Stephen (4/5): - Had to wait 15 minutes for someone to turn up to check in. Office was deserted with no note or key left out for us. Shower water went cold after a couple of minutes. Rang reception and got a message service. No-one ever rang back. Suspect apartment had been sitting with power off and hot water tank was cold, as later in the night, there was hot water. Apartment was also freezing cold, no heating had been turned on in anticipation of our arrival. Gas wall furnace was turned off, with no pilot lit. Pilot light indicator was not functioning so difficult to get this working. Eventually succeeded as main air-con unit did not appear to heat. Apartment overall was good. Bedroom air-con heated. Had we had hot water and a warm building to greet us, I would have over-looked the 15 minute wait to check in but no response to a message about hot water is very poor.
• John (4/5): - The place was clean and quiet. The internet service was terrible. I couldn’t even watch the footy without the signal dropping out. Ther were few guests so I couldn’t understand why the internet was so bad. Unless it was turned down in some way. I’m not returning until they fix the internet

• Rhonda (6/5): - The property was clean and had a great floor plan however the entire motel was extremely run down. It looked like it may have once been a beautiful well kept place but is now overgrown with weeds and rubbish.
• DEBORAH (8/5): - The property look unkempt from the outside and was very dated on the interior. The cleaning also left a lot to be desired. They definitely need to hire a different cleaner. The tv and glass table was wiped with a wet cloth and just left. Looked dirty. Not a good look!

Pool was unclean, gardens unkempt. No one was available at the office for any questions or assistance the entire time of our stay

• Beverley (6/5): - We liked the roominess especially for a long stay, communal bbq and pool area. Fully equipped kitchen was great. The apartment was very clean. The girl on the reception was very nice and very helpful, especially when we had car troubles. We didn't like the condition of the apartment, it was quite jaded ... needed a facelift. Bathroom was quite tacky, and very little room to put personal things. Bare light bulb in lounge area, fins on exhaust fan broken. Said there was a hair dryer but there wasn't, no problem I took my own. The bathroom products were empty and even after requesting refills, that wasn't done. Yes we would recommend this motel especially if staying more than a few days.

We had problems with the heating, but a staff member eventually got it working. The gardens around the apartments need attention - there are some really beautiful plants around the apartments that need watering or cut back and paths need sweeping.

However, with my vehicle hooked up to a trailer with a track car to use at nearby Winton race track, the removal of the courtesy vehicle to go out at night is a big drawback. Also, no breakfast and messages about heating and cleaning dishes are turn offs.

It was an easy flat walk or drive into the town centre for meals etc. There was a small kitchenette in the unit but no other amenities on site.

Well equipped kitchen and laundry makes staying a night or a couple of days very comfortable. Able to tour surrounding areas.....nearby mountains, milawa, beechworth and benalla itself is an attractive small town. Staff very pleasant and helpful.

• Helen (6/5): Quiet & comfortable but tired - A comfortable suite, in a quiet corner.Air con a bit noisy, unfortunately we couldn't get WiFi to work, breakfast facilities not available as owners were on holiday & no alternative was provided. Bed was comfortable but inside & outside could have done with a face lift- we've stayed in better for the same price!
• micky (6/5): - Pleasant. A little disappointed that given it was 38 degrees that day no one thought to turn on the aircon for our arrival. Took the whole night to cool the room down for my boys. Bedding and pillows of poor quality. Time for a new mattress and pillows we thought. Good presentation though clean kitchen and bathroom, nice girl who greeted us in late arrival that night and conveniently located to town centre and airport as well as Winton Raceway.

• Eve (8/5): Nice apartment motel - Stayed here 4 nights, handy to everything. I was surprised at how big the unit was, 2 bedrooms kitchen/dining/lounge cups plates cooking utensils and glasses small cooker, microwave toaster and kettle, pots and pans etc. A single bed in lounge which would have been nice to lie on but if you did you had to pay for it. I think there should have been a reduction for not having our sheets and towels changed.

• Anna (10/5): Impromptu stay - Impromptu overnight stay booked at the last minute. Conveniently located a short drive from the city centre. Accommodation was clean, warm and comfortable. I was greeted warmly and local food outlets were recommended for both dinner and breakfast the next morning.
